Hi there
We’ve been experiencing an issue for a while now with both Newspaper 9 and Newspaper 10.
The issue is that the default Posts template keeps changing in the Theme Panel, from a cloud template set by admin to the “Default” template.
We’re not quite sure what is triggering this and it’s hard to replicate on demand – under what circumstances would this setting change? Does it indicate a problem with the cloud library template we are using?
I bought Newspaper theme in 6/15 and there had been no problem until yesterday.
Since yesterday, there have been occurring some issues in Newspaper tagDiv.
I am experiencing some button malfunctions in two cases:
– Click the element’s bin button (element delete)
– Click the [import section] button at Cloud library’s LIVE PREVIEW window
When clicking the buttons above, the whole screen gets a little bit dark and just stays like that. No function executed.
I tried the below but the issue still remains.
– I recognized there was a new update (10.3.5.) and updated the latest version.
– I checked & allowed pop-ups in wordpress.com and my domain address.
– I mainly use Safari browser, and I found the same issue in Chrome browser as well.
For this issue, I can’t finish building my WordPress website.
Can I get support with this problem?
Have a nice day, thanks in advance. 🙂
I’m using a temporary domain on bluehost. I installed the theme and the demo I needed but then I don’t see the theme verification tab in panel and also when I tried to activate the theme through the page tagdiv editor to get to the cloud library it gave me the error that “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”.
Hi,
For this you’ll need to use a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit it with tagDiv Composer, you can use the search option to find the separator element -> https://i.imgur.com/TZSOggV.png
Hope this will help you!
Have a nice weekend!
Hi,
If these companies will have its own pages then the templates will not help, because the pages need to be make with a builder (tagDiv Composer), only if these are posts can be assigned cloud templates.
Also if the templates need to be different one by other, then this is the only way, to use cloud template.
Thank you!
I have the same issue. The footer is not editable. I’m using the default demo.
And, there’s no way to load a different template from the cloud library, you get an error of ‘Invalid Template Type’.
Every time I try to re-install the plugins, they install fine but they never update.
I constantly get this message, and keep in mind, I just purchased Newspaper today…
tagDiv Composer Failed
tagDiv Cloud Library Failed
tagDiv Social Counter Failed
tagDiv Standard Pack Failed
What can I do to fix this problem? I’ve already tried disabling/re-installing the plugins to no avail…
I also just noticed that there is an error_log file in my root:
[18-Jun-2020 20:37:55 UTC] PHP Warning: getimagesize(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages:

I am seeing the following PHP errors:

Also the JavaScript console shows these errors:

Is there a way to get these corrected?
Hi Gaia,
This option in not available on post/articles is available for the single post templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, in last version 10.3.5 you can edit it like this -> https://i.imgur.com/4xfTw6Z.png -> https://i.imgur.com/sdizp3G.png
Thank you!
I managed to solve my problem reading this article: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
I hope it can help someone else who reads this post 🙂
Hi, I see many reports of this error. I am having the same.
failed to open stream: Connection timed out in /wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library
Added to php.ini:
allow_url_fopen on in your php.ini
php.ini memory limit: 40MB
My site is going on and offline, server techs keep pointing to the td-cloud-library. Is there any solution to this? Please help!
Rolling back to earlier versions does not help. I also see people reporting this same issue since May.
Short of emergency switching to new theme, what can I do here?
Hello !
For a sidebar we recommend you to use the tagDiv Composer and Cloud Library templates. Find out more about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU&t=1s
Also you can import your sidebar from Appearance – Widgets by using the Widget sidebar element in tagDiv Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/ZdutX9UT4b
Thank you !
Hi,
I’m sorry but you didn’t answer to the problem (I am think is a bug).
Your example, is a custom category layout (“CATEGORY CLOUD LIBRARY TEMPLATE”–>”Theme Templates”), where seleccted “Gid 2” in “CATEGORY TOP POSTS STYLE”.
With that, I confirm that works.
But to the case reported, I follow the instructions, but I still have the same situation.
That is, the thumb for no thumb is not loaded.
With default category page layout, where have default “Category Grid 2”, the articles without feature image don’t show the custom no-thumb.
It can be concluded that it does not support, the question now is, is it a bug, will it be fixed?
if yes, when?
Thank you!

Hi,
In most cases that is a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
I think that this is a plugin conflict between tagDiv Cloud Library and WPBakery, you can use only one of them, you should decide which one you want to use, we recommend to use the tagDiv Cloud Library with tagDiv Composer these are the theme plugins.
Please deactivate the WPBakery and check the results!
Thank you!

Hi,
If you are using mobile theme plugin, then you’ll need to go in theme panel> mobile theme> theme fonts -> https://i.imgur.com/qpSkp9g.png and make there the changes.
If you are using the responsive version some PRO demo is possible to be set a custom font on cloud template, this can be change with tagDiv Composer by clicking on elements and check the style tab -> https://i.imgur.com/gnNSdVU.png -> https://i.imgur.com/zGf5Fs1.png
If there is still a problem, let us know, also provide some more details and a link.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, on desktop this element need to be set, you are using a PRO Demo, this is build with cloud templates from tagDiv Clod Library and it can be edited using tagDiv Composer , in this case you’ll need to edit the single post template and add the subtitle element -> https://tagdiv.com/customize-articles-with-single-post-templates/ https://i.imgur.com/I9lS6An.png -> https://i.imgur.com/GLhw3E6.png
Thank you!
FYI, I don’t use any Cloud Library template.
Hi,
You can achieve this if you are using cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library, these can be edited and individual assigned using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/jFkgJ4q.png -> https://i.imgur.com/u8XaLoh.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Is there a means in the Flex Blocks to add the word “By” to Author’s Name? I know it can be done in the Single Post templates from the Cloud Library (that info alone will save Calin having to cut and paste that info … LOL)
Repeated request: To be a current news site in a time of ever-changing news, the ability to have the Time Ago format on the front page is becoming critically important to tell readers that come to the front page how fresh a story is in minutes or even hours so is there any possibility of that in a future release. Yes, I’m aware it’s currently in the Single Post templates from the Cloud Library (again, saving Calin having to cut and paste that info … LOL)
Is this under consideration for a future update or is there a workaround to display in the Flex Blocks?

Hi.
I installed the demo and got an error. (Style PRO)
What should I do?
Please tell me how.
Thank you.
Hi,
2. Sorry, I think that first time I was not understand correctly the question. Unfortunately there is no option for this, the button can be set only with custom work.
4. If you are using a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library then you can set with tagDiv Composer the post content to be “Single post smartlist ” -> https://i.imgur.com/yIDaiBx.png or “Single post Content” (this is by default) -> https://i.imgur.com/j6mRabk.png
Using a single post template with “Single post smartlist ” you can edit it like this -> https://i.imgur.com/E56tHjG.png
The files for smartlist on cloud template are on this path ->wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/smart_lists
Thank you!
