Hi,

You can use singlecloud templates, and in this way, you can add the shortcode to the single post template using the column text element.
A shortcode can be inserted by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. “Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
If you want to use template from theme panel, then you need to edit the template that is used for the template and set it in the child theme.

Thank you!

Hello @peters1964!

Edit it with the tagdiv composer from here: https://app.screencast.com/QAHStujBIzq5f
Start customizing it as you like. You can import from the Cloud Library sections, blocks, etc. already designed: https://app.screencast.com/XmXeN3Cf760TK
The page templates can’t be global on each page, and it is not working as a single template, for example.

Thank you!

Hi,

sing our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Also, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/
If the cache plugin does not have mobile support, then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead on the desktop and vice versa.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Hello,

Please activate the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin.

Hi GoLearnHealth, the standard post template you are using is an old one from tagDiv Standard Pack plugin that are discontinued (we provide it only of old users), please using a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library that offers you the possibility to edit it as I mentioned in above reply – https://i.imgur.com/2QWYr51.png the template similar with the one you have now will be the ‘Single Post Template 12’ (in cloud library) – https://i.imgur.com/sN2QOny.jpg set it as global – https://i.imgur.com/9Jb4k2n.png or you can use other post templates that you like (Those can display the featured image using the img html element or using css as background like the single post template 12 and this will not use an alt text, only the images set in img html element).
Thank you!

Anamaria

Hello,

Yes, I think that you can delete the plugin. You can add the author box in the Single Post Template and it will be for all posts that use that template https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/single-post-shortcodes/

Thank you!

I just installed the theme, everything looks good until I try to edit a post or the home page, it gives an error: Ooops… Error 404.
I have tried disabling some plugins, uninstalled and re-installed TagDivComposer and TagDivCloudLibrary but the issue persists.
Also, System Status shows all the requirements are met.

Please advise,
Thanks

Any ideas why I get the error below when a home page requests a non-existent first level url:

Hi,
Most likely this happens when certain elements of css and javascript are required, what you could do is to exclude these files (so that they are not boxed).
Please try to exclude the:
– wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/assets/js/tdbMenu.js
and if the problem persist exclude this file too:
– wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/assets/css/tdb_wp_admin.css
I hope this will help you!

Hello,

I recommend you use a Single Post Template from tagDiv Cloud Library, and you can design it with tagDiv Composer.
To display the related articles or more from the author, you can use Flex Block and filter it https://www.screencast.com/t/SEmxo13Fo2X -> https://i.imgur.com/YIg3nPP.png
if you want to keep those templates the only way to remove the “more from author” tab is to use a custom CSS like this one:

.single .td-related-right{
display: none;
}

Set the code in Theme Panel ->Custom code -> Custom CSS
I hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Hi – We’re working on a site currently in staging and have started to notice a few issues, hoping you can help:

– When editing a page with tagDiv Composer, none of the right-click features are working when selecting blocks or other elements. We’re unable to save elements as templates to move to other pages.

– Some pages will not open with tagDiv Composer (spinning circle), only with Classic Editor or Block Editor. It seems as though once a cloud template is imported, edited and saved, it’s no longer able to be edited.The PHP errors in console seem to point to td-cloud-library and td-composer but I don’t know what they mean. These pages include:
https://swankyretreats.dreamhosters.com/swankyretreats/
https://swankyretreats.dreamhosters.com/homepage/
https://swankyretreats.dreamhosters.com/demo-flex/
PHP Errors:

Undefined array key “tdbTemplateType”

Plugin: td-composer

– It looks like certain External Shortcodes are missing from the list, including Posts Loop. Wondering how to add them so we can use?

– Are we able to save elements/blocks with settings on this site, then export and import to production site?

– It doesn’t look like we have access to all of the available Cloud Templates when we select Cloud Templates > All Templates > Add New, we get varying numbers below the “All” tab. We’re currently seeing 1220 but when we select one to preview and we end up at https://cloud.tagdiv.com/ we can see that there are 2418 available, but they don’t all show up for us. Wondering why that might be? Is it filtering out those which may not be compatible with the demo we have loaded?

– When editing a Cloud Template footer, we’re seeing these messages: “Error at rows: 2(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” We installed jQuery Migrate Helper as suggested in one of the forum posts, which didn’t fix anything but provided these messages:

Lastly, I’m wondering why many of the forum posts are titled “Newspaper” and are not visible to us, even when logged in?When searching for answers to some of the above, it seemed like others may have had the same trouble and had them resolved but we couldn’t access the replies.

These may all be related but we’ve been struggling to fix. Any feedback, suggestions or assistance with any of this would be appreciated! – Ray

Hello @waleed9!

Please check the differences between cloud vs default templates from our guides:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

I can’t add any individual element from the sidebar on the left side of the screen when editing pages with the Tag Div composer. I can import pre-designed templates from the cloud library, but not drag and drop individual elements like for instance, a row, text, header, or any other element you can find in the controls.

Hi,

I just checked, and it seems you use a plugin for cache, which minifies the CSS and JS.
Please try to exclude those files from the plugin and check after.
– wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/assets/js/tdbMenu.js
– wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/assets/js/js_files_for_front.min.js
