You’re not reading what I wrote and it’s a bit frustrating.
We ARE using the AMP plugin and the TagDiv Mobile Theme plugin. And we have the mobile theme set to only show on AMP. Did you not see the screenshots I posted above?
The problem is that the mobile theme is NOT showing on AMP pages. Instead, AMP pages are showing the cloud templates for the normal site.
Please take the time to read what I have posted and look at the screenshots.
Hello,
Ive tried with WP All Import and no success. Please could you tell which plugin can I use for exporting/importing the Cloud Templates and get all working?
We are so late with this theme update and we are using your templates in other websites without issues because we never changed the theme, now we change it in https://diariodeemprendedores.com and worked in stage mode, but it’s useless if we can’t import the settings in the live site
Thank you in advance
Hello!
You can not assign a Single Template to a page, only to a post(article).
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

I hope this information is useful for you!
Thank you!
Hello!
You should use a single cloud template. Edit it with the TagDiv Composer and add this element: https://prnt.sc/wFjoZHix4Km0
In order to display the subtitle, you should edit the post with Gutenberg and add the subtitle text, as in this screenshot: https://imgur.com/5aBbx26
Thank you!
Hi there,
I use a custom template from Cloud Templates for Single posts, and I want to use the same template (or something similar) for pages. However, I am unable to use the templates from Cloud Templates for pages. How can I fix this?
Hello Andrea!
You do not need to downgrade the theme. We recommend you to have all the tagdiv plugins installed and activate, also up to date in order to have access to the new features and fixes.
This is the 404 cloud template and it can be edited with the TagDiv Composer: https://prnt.sc/gozA2n9cnxeb -> https://prnt.sc/lAm3lqi6OTko -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
A code in your frontend is appearing only when you have a plugin uninstalled when it should be installed, so instead of the code, it will display the element from that plugin.
Check in the Newspaper -> Plugins.
Thank you!
Hello Ken!
If you look on a mobile phone or if you refresh the mobile page, you can see that this is looking like this: https://prnt.sc/q861cuoF8e8d
Now, if you want to customize your pages, you should add a blank page. Unfortunately, you cannot assign the page template to the other page. They are individually, not as per the usual template. The header and the footer should be set as global. In the Cloud Templates, you have a large view of your templates. Also, you can save some rows or elements and easily add them to your page templates or any other templates. You should set the header and footer globally on every template manually.

Hi Calin. Not sure if you watched my video or not. I am very familiar with the mobile theme plugin and options with AMP. I have used it on dozens of TagDiv Newspaper sites just fine. We only ever use the mobile theme for AMP … and we only ever use it for posts.
The problem is that posts that use cloud templates seem to ignore all the AMP settings (header, post template, footer). We don’t want that. We want the AMP version of posts to only show the usual mobile theme as configured for AMP.
In the AMP plugin, we have the following settings:
https://snipboard.io/I7N5Tm.jpg
https://snipboard.io/hFtCXc.jpg
https://snipboard.io/591vgk.jpg
Here is how we have the mobile theme / AMP configured in the Newspaper theme panel …
https://snipboard.io/dzHUZT.jpg
And here are the Newspaper mobile theme header settings …
https://snipboard.io/vsxzNl.jpg
Here’s what a post looks like on mobile using cloud templates (not AMP) …
https://snipboard.io/8EhYnw.jpg
And here’s that same post with AMP …
https://snipboard.io/4MjoNQ.jpg
Notice how the header is NOT the AMP header from the mobile theme? And the body isn’t from the mobile theme either … it’s from the mobile responsive post cloud template.
You can see that we’ve implemented AMP posts just fine before. Here is an example from another TagDiv Newspaper site … but it does NOT use cloud templates.
Normal mobile responsive post …
https://snipboard.io/56YDyw.jpg
And here’s the AMP version of the same post …
https://snipboard.io/ut1ATm.jpg
So again, the challenge seems to be implementing the mobile theme for AMP only and on posts only … but on a site that uses cloud templates for it’s normal pages.
What are we doing wrong? Or is this even possible? Thanks again!
Hello @jackb149!
In the cloud templates, you can add the ads when you edit the post with TagDiv Composer in the element called ” Single Post Content ” in the tab ADS. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
Or you can use the element called “Ad box” from TagDiv Composer, and there you need to add the ads: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
In order to customize the ads on mobile, this will depend on the mobile version that you use. You can choose from three different options:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
In your example, the last column is the column from the right(desktop). But, we have an option to re-order the columns: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-re-order-the-post-page-on-mobile/
Thank you!
I know they are not identical. So you tell me, what’s the point to mention the similarity in a special notice? To tell users that you can create a template of similar nature. Right?
You’re telling me that it’s currently not possible to create an archive template for custom taxonomy with the help of tagDiv composer and cloud library?
So what is the purpose of giving users the option to create a template for custom taxonomy?
I am afraid that you don’t know what you’re talking about. Can I get Calin?
I think you are mistaken. This seems to be not true. You CAN, indeed, add archive template for custom taxonomy. What you’re talking about is custom post type archive template.
So if I made a custom post type called movie, I can decide how my single movie post looks like with the help of template but I cannot use the template to display all posts inside movie post type archive because archive template is not available for CPT.
On the other hand, if I add custom taxonomy called actors for my CPT movie, I have the option to decide how all the articles or posts look like inside a single actor taxonomy, say, Leonardo Dicaprio, by using an archive template from cloud library. It’s available in the theme.
So, to summarize, you can only add single post template for CPT and not archive template. For custom taxonomy, you can only add archive template not single post template.
See the image below: (Grabbed from tagDiv documentation)

It clearly says “the custom taxonomy template is working similar to a category cloud template” in the notice
You should read this page thorough:(Only takes 2-5 minutes)

It’s concerning to me if the developers at tagDiv are not even aware of this issue. I mean this is the most basic thing someone would want to do to their templates, like changing the template permalink, etc.
Please help.
Hello,
Please make sure that you have the tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Libray, and tagdiv social counter pluginns activated.
Thank you!
Hi,
First, I want to make sure that I was able to inform you of all data about the mobile versions that our theme can have.
1. Responsive version, this is by default when you install the theme and you do not use the mobile page or mobile theme plugin.
2. Mobile page/template this allows you to create with tagDiv Composer and cloud a different layout and set different elements for mobile and iPad/tablet and it will overwrite the responsive version.
3. Mobile theme plugin, this is a light theme version for mobile that will overwrite the mobile page and responsive version if enabled. The mobile plugin is also used as a template for amp version.
So when you have a mobile page/template this will be used instead of a responsive version, but if you also have the mobile theme enabled, this one will override both of them.
How to combine them? Yes, this can be possible, for example, the mobile page/template will apply only on that page or cloud template that is assigned. But what to do if you want to use a mobile theme plugin too? If you use the mobile theme, in the Gutenberg editor it is an option to disable the mobile theme in the current post/page, if you use the option, then it will use the mobile page/template (if assigned) or the responsive version.
So in your case, you can disable the mobile theme on the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/NX57q4t.png or if you do not want it at all, disable the plugin or use it only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/Grlz5Ee.png.
Here is also a video that explains all those -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
What I can recommend trying is to disable the tagDiv COmposer and tagDiv Cloud Library, delete them, and reinstall those plugins from newspaper > plugins.
If the problem is the same after those steps, please let us know about this problem via email (contact@tagdiv.com) and we’ll check it as soon as possible.
Thank you!
Hi,
I am unable to add archive templates for custom taxonomies. I am using ACF plugin. When I import a blank template it’s added in the list of templates in Cloud templates->CPT/Taxonomies->Custom Taxonomies – Templates, but when I make any change to the template from the edit option that we get when we hover on three dots (not edit with TD composer), it disappears from the list.
For example, I imported a template from cloud library for a custom taxonomy that I created called “section,” When I clicked on edit, it took me to new tab. There I changed its name from Blank taxonomy to Section taxonomy template and updated it.
When I retured back to the CPT/Taxonomies section of the cloud library and scrolled down, I found that my template was no longer there. This message was written there: “No cloud templates. Please import one or more templates from Cloud Library.”
I tried this 5 times — same results. I once even tried not making any changes, just clicked the update button. It still disappeared. But surprizingly, I found all the invisible templates at this url: “mydomain[dot]com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tdb_templates”
My website even sent me an email regarding the fatal error caused by tagDiv Cloud Library. You can see the snipped it sent me below:
Howdy!
WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, tagDiv Cloud Library.
It sent the error details as well. Please have a look:
When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:

Please also note that there are options in the edit window to select the template type from the dropdown like “header, search, tag, etc.” I tried to experiment with that as well. I once kept it at default “No template type” and after encountering the issue changed it to tag, but it didn’t help. I couldn’t find an option for custom taxonomy in the dropdown.
Custom post types and taxonomies are the foundation of my website from structural perspective. This issues has caused me great inconvenience and more than that, frustration. Please help.
I shall be extremely thankful.
Regards.
“Those are for standard templates”
Ok, how can I set my template to ‘STANDARD’ then, so I can see the options?
I want to be able to see these options:

Now, I can see nothing:
https://imgur.com/a/qMf2E1j
I have set cloud templates for HEADER and FOOTER.
But in Layout Settings > Post Settings, I only can see this:

Hello,
how can I add Mastodon to the social media icons in the mobile header. As far as I can see, these icons can be edited under Theme Panel -> Social Networks -> Social Networks, but there is still no Mastodon entry nor the possibility to add a svg icon like in the cloud template header of the desktop site.
Hi there,
is there a way to create a brand-new header?
Reading the instructions it seems I can only download ready-to-use ones from the cloud.
Thanks
Hi gang. Can we use AMP and the tagDiv mobile theme at the same time that we use cloud templates for our normal, mobile responsive site? Please see the video here for details. Thanks in advance!
Hello @lyon !
Unfortunately, you cannot display an ACF location type field in the cloud templates.
Can you please provide more information about what and how you want to achieve it?
Thank you!
Hello,
We have an issue with the theme homepage displaying in all languages except the default language.
Look at the difference between the default language and all other languages: https://share.cleanshot.com/BV7KFTDT
We can’t fix this display bug because in the cloud model, everything is correct…
Module : WPML for language management.
Hello!
Do you use default templates or cloud templates?
In the cloud templates, you can add the ads when you edit the post with TagDiv Composer in the element called ” Single Post Content ” in the tab ADS. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
Or you can use the element called “Ad box” from TagDiv Composer, and there you need to add the ads: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/

Hello,
Please check the text in this path wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/common/tdb_filters.php -> https://i.imgur.com/QMY23U2.png
Thank you!
Hi,
You use a standard template, to have infinite loading, you need to use a Single Post Template.
Thank you!
