Hi,

You can achieve this if you are using cloud templates, for category templates -> https://i.imgur.com/Bmv2Srf.png -> https://i.imgur.com/l8IEGEi.png
As long you gave the posts loop on your template you can choose how it will display the pagination.
For pages -> https://i.imgur.com/TdHy78d.png

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi,

The tagDiv Composer should be display on frontend fore each page or cloud template, for pages will look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/iD8iN3A.png for cloud templates like this -> https://i.imgur.com/Q7M8YJi.jpg
Also, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins ( let only tagDiv plugin), also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
If there is still a problem, please provide some more details and some screenshots with the problem you are facing.

Thank you!

Hi,

Scenario Background:

– Standard Pack Deactivated
– Created Custom Template using Cloud
– Selected this Custom Template as Default Site-wide Post Template

Everything works with all regular posts looking as expected based on this new template.
‘and with Custom Posts looking like the regular posts without the custom template
Except for one thing.

I get a couple ‘wp_booster error:…………….’
Only displayed to me while in Admin View.

Also, as a precaution (not that I really know anything):

I followed the instructions for creating a custom single template for my custom post type and copied over, as well, the loop version into the theme base. (Tried that with a Child Theme Version, as well).
But, Still, the same problem.

Is there a solution? or should I ignore and live with it for now?

It’s two ways that I know of. I’m not support. I’m just helping out because support has been super slow around here.

1. From the Home Page click Edit with TD Composer (Top Menu).
2. In the Composer (Shows on the left side of screen) Click The 3rd Icon from the left labeled Header.
3. In the Header Manager you can Import A New Header. Which gives you different choices from the online cloud.
4. Once you Load that Header you can edit the different elements on the right side of the screen as you see fit then click save in the composer menu (left side of screen)
The other way is on the Backend. Same principle, but a different way to access.

1. Left Menu > Click Cloud Templates.
2. Will show you a list of headers you have already. First one being the one you loaded the demo data with (if you did chose import demo).
3. Click Edit
4. Click TAGDIV Composer Button Right under the Template Title.
5. Gives you the same options as I listed in the first list. The difference here is, you will only see the header. You won’t see the rest of your site. You will have to make edits, save those edits and click close. It will take you back to the admin backend. Click Update then bring up the site from the main menu.

I think they need to streamline this a little better but I learned this from a bunch of mistakes.

Hi!

Suddenly today I can’t see the preview for the blog post I’m working on. I get an error message.

The error log of my WordPress site mentions this ->

FastCGI: server “/var/run/php72-cgi/php-cgi” stderr: thrown in /www/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/state/single/tdb_state_single.php on line 1667, referer: https://www.fuckdiestudieschuld.nl/wp-admin/post.php?post=5238&action=edit

Any thoughts?

(If I open an old post that’s already been published, the preview works just fine. The problem only appears with new posts.)

Any help is very welcome!

Thanks,
Maaike

Hello,

We use the “Single Post Template 48 – Animals Pro” template that I downloaded from the Cloud library. By default, the captions are in italics, left-handed, and in gray color. Even if we change the settings in the “Style> Image Caption Text” section of the template, there are no changes. We have cleaned up all the cashes on the server and browser side, the result does not change.

Here is a sample page

Is this a bug, or are we missing something?

Thanks in advance for your interest and help.
Regards.

Thanks Calin,
I have tried and finally I have been able to reach a good result.
I loaded a “header template” from “tagDiv Cloud Library” and edited it with “tagDiv Composer” until I got a result close to what I wanted. Then I edited one of the files in wp-content / plugins / td-cloud-library / shortcodes / header to embed the custom code.
The problem now is that when you load the page, the header is initially displayed higher than it is.
While loading https://snipboard.io/xgy6pl.jpg
Once you finish loading https://snipboard.io/w2UGmT.jpg
I tried to delete the modifications made to the php file (raising a backup), load a new “header template” from “tagDiv Cloud Library” and leave it as it comes but I always get the same result. Only when I use the default header does this not happen.
Why does this happen? What can I do to avoid it?
Thank you!

Thanks Calin,
I have tried but I have not been able to reach a good result.
I loaded a “single post template” from “tagDiv Cloud Library” and edited it with “tagDiv Composer” but I couldn’t add the custom code of “addtoany” on the same line as the author, date and number of views, inside the module ” meta info “in the header of the posts. It is not possible to insert custom code on that same line.
I gave up that idea and reloaded and edited a “single post template” of “tagDiv Cloud Library” with “tagDiv Composer”, this time without trying to add custom code, simply dragging and dropping elements and configuring them. I reached a point where I am in compliance, it is not what I wanted but it is not a disaster, the problem is that now whatsapp is not shown as an option to share, which does happen when I use the post template that comes by default.
Why is the whatsapp share button not showing? How do I add this button to the “single post template” that I am editing?

Hi Calin,

Thanks for the reply. I should elaborate, its not actually the templates that aren’t displaying properly. I mean when I go into the ‘Pre-designed Templates – tagDiv Cloud Library’ to browse for a new template to download, on some of the previews the text runs off the screen so I cant physically download them because the download button is not visible. For example when I view ‘Single Post 35’, the description, tags and additional information falls off the side of the screen. There is consequently no download button because it is not visible. I have tried removing clearing the cache and have tried a number of different internet browsers but it hasn’t fixed the issue. As it is only some of the template descriptions that aren’t displaying properly within the cloud library it would seem it is likely a problem from your end?

I would attach a screen shot but I can’t see a way to do this? I am completely new to WordPress by the way 🙂

Many thanks

No, didn’t work. Ultimately, I went back and ‘restored’ an older version of my site because I couldn’t figure it out. Something changed after your cloud templates update and it is ruining my site – the posts all come out truncated. I need someone to look at the site and help me understand what has gone wrong! The homepage is fine, but when you click on an individual post, they show up very strange and truncated.

Hello, I tried to update Newspaper from version 9.6 to 10.2 on WordPress 5.3.2.
I activated all the 4 plugins suggested: Composer, Cloud Library, Social Counter, Standard Pack but some elements and images are not loaded and even the menu messes up.
Here is a screenshot of the homepage with v. 9.6: https://prnt.sc/qluf4x
and this is with 10.2: https://prnt.sc/qlusae

Even the Theme Panel page is not loaded properly: https://prnt.sc/qlusso
Any suggestions?
I already tried to deactivate all the plugins except the TagDiv’s but nothing changes.
Here is the system configuration: https://prnt.sc/qlutkl and https://prnt.sc/qluubb
Any hint is appreciated.
Thanks a lot

Hi,

Please do not post your private login credentials.
For what I can see you are using a lot of plugins, also you can view the post content like this -. https://i.imgur.com/fRO025y.png-> https://i.imgur.com/yR15fOa.png also this draft can be seen here on WPBakery -> https://i.imgur.com/PgBQgdT.png
Also please notice that we do not recommend to use the cloud library with WPBakery.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello !

Yes, those are default options, if you want to be able to edit that you will have to recreate that footer using a cloud library template. You can follow the link above in order to create a beautiful footer page.

Hi there again Vlad:

The real problem is not the speed which you can see is good enough checking in GTmetrix from my closest location. The problem that I have is since I tried to deactivate the TagDiv Standard Pack my CPU olverloads and make my site slower overall when I access the admin and try to upload an image or even install a newspaper cloud template. I don’t really know if the theme had any problem with the accumulated css or js but it doesn’t happen with other themes I have tested.

https://imgur.com/iVSkBVv

¿Do you think a clean installation will work? if so what would be the steps? Change theme > Delete > Clean Cache > Install and customize? I am afraid I delete the theme and conserve all the old data from other version and doesn’t let me install it again (remember a simple image is collapsing the server)

Hello !

As mentioned above.

You have to know what pages you want to have the background ads.

You can do this for any page, category and cloud templates.

Let us know where would you like to hide the ad.

Thank you !

Hello !

We have investigate your website and as you can see you can improve your page speed using a cloudflare, minfying the javascript ( I would suggest Fast Velocity Minify ) is not tested with newspaper theme but We have seen that a lot of users use it and it provides better results.

Here are the results: https://www.screencast.com/t/SlKflrCwyFsL

I hope this was helpful !

Additional Question: Do we have to go into Edit Template in order to edit the content that goes into the body of the post (for cloud templates), by adding in new elements there? And then adding our content into those elements?

If yes, then when starting out to edit a template, it shows a “single post content” element added to it by default, but that element is not editable. So does that mean that we should simply delete that element and add in ours?

Demir

Additional information:

This problem happens on every page I use the Cloud template. Except for the article, the reason why there is no problem with home page and other pages is not to use Cloud templates on those pages.

Hi,

If I understand correctly you want to have on category page to replace the pagination with next and prev buttons, this can be achieve if you are using a category template from tagDiv Cloud Library, edit it with tagDiv Composer, click on posts loop and change the pagination -> https://i.imgur.com/TCsI07v.png ( this can be achieve for posts loop set in pages and cloud templates).

Thank you!

Hi connect5thgen,

So in order to have more control over the menu/mega menu you’ll need to use/import a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit it using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/jtn8QXr.png -> https://i.imgur.com/pdOVMth.png -> https://i.imgur.com/saWZaPU.png -> https://i.imgur.com/XGztyAc.png

Hope this will help you!

Hi kingmed,

Please notice that only the pages and cloud templates can be edited using tagDiv Composer, the standard post style/templates -> https://i.imgur.com/kheE1nz.png can’t be editable with the theme builder, you can edit the post using the edit post like this -> https://i.imgur.com/fitEVMJ.png or from WordPress -> https://i.imgur.com/NyAYkbR.png .

Thank you!

Hello !

If you’re using a post template from the cloud library you can add the Ad Box element using the tagDiv Composer inside the post and you will be able to add the adsense code in the custom code tab as you can see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/UZSaflhu4xy

If you want to add the ads inline you can by editing the post loop with tagDiv Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/SjSrvX9maxMt

Thank you !
