It seems that that in some cases when the two page editors are both active, some problems may happen at the moment. This can result in some of the features not working properly. In this case the only options would be to use just the tagDiv composer to create your pages.

Three columns is the maximum number that can be used when using the tagDiv composer at the moment. You will have to create a layout based on this condition. Maybe additional options will be made available in future updates, but I could not say for sure if this will happen.
You can still use Visual composer if you want, but please consider that in the future more options will be added exclusively for the new front-end page editor.

I am having same problem after theme update to 8. The single image block in visual composer is not displaying correctly and the links don’t work when using it as well.
A work around that other people suggested is disabling TagDiv Composer. Then images will display properly that use the Single image block. The only problem is that post created/updated when plugin was active will not display any content.
I’m becoming quite disappointed with this theme. There are ALOT of issues happening for my site.
My tagdiv composer is not work on the home page- I click on it and it keeps showing the loading circle thingy. When I try to edit text in a block using the grids (again on the homepage but in the wordpress frame not the composer frame), I click on save changes and nothing happens. Ive been trying to edit all day ( see medcrunch.net). This is really really frustrating
I disabled the CDN network, cleared the caches. Switched to the old theme, deleted the Newspaper install and re-installed the theme files via FTP. I’ve switched to the theme, re-installed the default theme demo and switched the home page. I am now able to bring up the home page in the composer.
There was an error that came up when I first installed the demo content. That may be related to this error. If I run into this error again. I will post an update.
Why am I seeing this error on the top of the portal when I’m trying to edit the home page? This has never displayed during the past week that I made the same changes on our staging site. I’ve made changes to the home page last night. I bring up the page in TD Composer and see the message “Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!”
I brought up another home page template in TD Composer and didn’t see this message.

Images, despite being 2000px width are not displaying full width inside a text block.
Single image block, set at size full, is not following the height of the image.
Problems happened after the latest update.
Last, the tagdiv composer gets stuck on loading.

Im having multiple problems with this theme. Aside from the ones I posted earlier, I have two different social counters showing up- the ones that was added to the homepage and I could edit and a completely different one that s showing up everywhere else that I can’t even locate let alone edit. Its connecting back to tagdiv’s social channels. When I try to use composer on these pages, the social counter “get connected” is not actually even showing up for me to edit it. Help!!!

Do you mean to say the manual codes entered in Theme Panel’s Custom Code section will not work if I upgrade to Version 8? Or only if I switch to TagDiv composer?
How is the experience of users who upgraded to version 8 but didn’t switch to TD composer? By policy I am in no hurry to upgrade but would appreciate inputs.

After trying out TagDiv composer, I prefer Visual Composer(one reason I chose this theme). My question is… Are you no longer supporting Visual Composer? I assume so since the update did not update Visual Composer which is in need of an update. Please let me know if you aren’t updating Visual Composer. If that is the case, I will purchase Visual Composer and deactivate the TagDiv Composer.

When I try to create page with tagDiv Composer and drop element on place it stays on infinite loading.
I installed the theme on fresh server localhost and configured it strictly according to documentation. No other plugins than tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Social Counter.
What to do?
As i understand it you can still run the v8.0 on the old composer.

I’ve updated my theme to Newspaper 8. Everything working fine but some posts are broken (Tabbed content with visual composer). There’s an example. Theese 2 posts have same structure but Post 2 has tabbed content. Problem is on that page. Text is under the sidebar. Every posts that have tabbed content are broken. You can see posts here:

For a while, I have been using the default WordPress homepage that automatically displays “Your latest posts” instead of a static homepage. Now, using TagDiv composer, I am building a new homepage, which is working great, but I had a question.
Is there a way to change the excerpts to show all post text up to the Read More tag? This is how it worked before, but now, using Block 13, it is showing the excerpts that I manually entered in my Excerpts section of the post editor instead.
I checked the Excerpt settings in the Newspaper Theme Panel as well as the block settings, but I didn’t see a way to change this behavior. Please let me know if I am able to change it to show all my post content up to the Read More tag. Thanks.

Hi! Your theme works fine. It does not work only tag div composer. The Visual composer works well, the blocks are displayed in backend, everything is fine, but when I switch to editing mode with tag div composer, I see a white screen. How to fix it? I want to create pages with tagdiv composer.

I know that blocks can be used to display category posts.
For example block 9, they have too much space between titles.
I would rather prefer them to be compact with less spacing between post title.
For eg, I would prefer
aaaaaaa
bbbbbbb
ccccccc
rather than what is now Block 9
aaaaaaa
bbbbbbb
ccccccc
Also regarding downloaded plugins, I want to add widgets on homepage using Visual Composer or Tagdiv Composer.

As the title suggested I tried to install TD Composer but wordpress failed to install it. Debug below:

Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /var/www/betotg/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/
Plugin install failed.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? I have successfully installed the latest theme (Newspaper v8) just the plugins are causing a problem.

my website link is Animeride.com would be really great if you could solve my drop down menu issue under ”List” also i just used tag div composer and set the offset to 4 and it solved my grid problem. But You Will be able to notice the difference in fonts it’s thin right now in the grid unlike before, I’ll somehow live with the grid problem but please help solve the drop down and the font problem would be grateful.

Hi,
The blocks were designed to display posts, not products. Custom post types and pages can also be displayed in blocks. There is no option or filter to show these products on the blocks, in Visual composer.

Can i still achieve result like this in newspaper8? Because the new composer only support 1/3 column..try to hard change it to 1/6 and it is not working ?
And is there a way to set column offset in newspaper8 composer?
