I’ve checked your site on mobile and it works fine on my end. I didn’t encountered any issue with page’s load. If you still have this issue try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test the site again.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to set your photo gallery on masonry mode, like as Masonry Media Grid from Visual Composer element, sorry! So, if you want to have the similar effect, please notice that you can use our galleries, like as Tagdiv Slide Gallery. Please try to disable all the active plugins ,leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN file if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

It is important to do this because your untested plugins which you are using in the theme could interfere with the theme and might cause a lot of unknown issues.

I’ve checked your site and the sticky sidebar works fine on IE 11. If you still have this issue try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches including browser’s cache then test again.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.1.1) which come bundled with required plugins ->Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1. Also, please try the theme without any untested plugins which might interfere with the theme and cause a lot of unknown issues.
If your problem is till there after this advice, please make a new clean install from scratch and install the theme only with required plugins and see how it goes.

I know that you don’t provide support for custom post types, but I was hoping you could point me in the right direction.
I was able to get the sidebar to show on custom post types, with the exception of when I use Visual Composer on the CPT. Any time I use VC, the sidebar doesn’t show.

When I click the search icon in the main menu, the search popup does not appear. I have already tried disabling all plugins (excluding visual composer) as suggested in answer to a similar question, but it did not help.

Hello thanks to answer my questions. I try as you indicate me and the module 15 show below the page builder content as the template layout was made. It is possible that this module show up on top? as main post feeder?
The solution you gave me to use a text box with photo made the idea I want with big header and below the photo but must be made manually and we would like a module that feed automatically as regular module or block.
If there isn’t any solutions it is possible to modify the block 13 on visual composer to move the head on top of the photo instead of below?

Thanks for getting me pointed in the right direction. I followed all of the steps and deleted the previous versions, then updated the theme, visual composer and social counter plugin.
A couple things:
– The social counter has been deleted from the sidebar. I also had “Most Popular” and “Categories” in sidebar and they are gone as well. How can I get those back?
– The text color in main nav bar went from white to black. I went into theme panel (Theme Color –> Main Menu) to edit and it won’t let me; it gives me an error message and pop up that says “Background Request Blocked – A background request to WordPress was just blocked.” It gives me the option to “Whitelist this action” or “Dismiss.” But, it won’t let me click on either. I click outside the dialogue box and the loading square just spins and spins, and I have to reload the page. This happens when I try and do almost anything in the theme panel. How can I fix so I can make these (and other) changes? What do I need to do to whitelist?
– My original issue with Visual Composer not being able to edit via pencil icon is not fixed either.
Please let me know what I can do to fix these issues.

The template and plugins work together (with the above versions) when images are specified for “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders”
but….. For those who put the media outside of the wp-content folder, such as yourdomain.com/media/ or yourdomain.com/images/ by adding this code to wp-config.php

and unchecking the media folder at /wp-admin/options-media.php
or settings/media/ uploading files box
Does NOT Work. The Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer: Version 3.16.4 will rewrite your image media path to wp-content/uploads/ regardless.
So if your images are in the images directory you CAN’T use this plugin, Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer: Version 3.16.4
I am not changing my directory and redirecting images. Don’t want any part of that.
I’m also working with their tech support on the plugin to try and find why it’s rewriting to the wp-content path and not respecting the images path I set forth.
If anyone has an idea on how to fix this, I would be most grateful.

Did you updated also Visual Composer plugin?
The latest version of Visual Composer provided with the theme is 4.11.2 so please check what version you have and if you need to update please check this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
If the issue persist check this only with Visual Composer active, disable all other plugins and see how it goes.

Have you updated the theme at V 7.1.1 which is available on themeforest? When the theme is updated it’s settings shouldn’t be affected as they are stored in database. Please follow our documentation to update the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ Also before the update process deactivate ll plugin except Visual Composer, clear all caches, deactivate the child theme if you’re using then run the update.

I’m trying to add a custom ad zone for content ads like Taboola above the post title but below the header. So, on the following page it would be above the title of “Kid After. . .” and below the header with the logo. It would span the whole width of the page.

Is there any way to do that through the theme options to make it easy on me, or do I need to go into the code? If I need to go into the code, how exactly do I do that? I already have a child theme enabled and moved the single post template into it if needed, but wanted to see if there was a way to do it through the theme.
The homepage allows a lot of flexibility through the visual composer, but I can’t find a way to do it across all posts to the overall post template.
