Hi Emil,
We have even checked with disabling all the plugins and clearing browser cache but the Tinymce Advanced is not working. We also tried out WP Edit but thats also not working. Whenever a post is saved nothing comes up and also the preview is not showing up whatever is written inside the editor window. So our guess is that there is some problem with WP Visual Composer. Can you please check with our wordpress admin access?

Hi,
I have three questions. Maybe somebody can help me.
1.) Head ad: I am using the amazon banner and disabled the mobile view. Unfortunately the ad is still displayed on mobile devices (smartphones).
2.) Unique articles: I am using the theme on my review site. I want to have unique articles accept for the top 3, 5, 10 area in a widget or sidebar. Because sometimes the best rated product is also the newest and I want it to appear also in the top list. Is it possible to activate unique articles on a page and only disable it for one specific widget or sidebar on the same page?
3.) I am using the call 2 action modul of visual composer. I can add links here and set them to target=”_blank” but there is no nofollow checkbox. Where can I set all external links in the VC Modul to nofollow?

I run in too issues as well with VC it don’t format some of the grids on homepage correctly..
Like the Big Grid 1 for me to use that i have to turn off VC and use the tagDiv Visual Composer Shim plugin for the grid to work correctly….i reather use the “tagDiv Visual Composer Shim” then the VC that slow your site down and have a lot of things you don’t even use…

That error is from Visual Composer, we also open a ticket at the plugin support regarding this and we hope it will be fixed in the next update.
Please make sure that you use the latest version of the theme 6.2 and make sure that you update also the child theme to this version, you can find it in the /code folder, as this issue was fixed and the Big Gris should not appear like this anymore.

Thanks for your suggestions. However we deactivated all the plugins except tinymce advanced and Visual Composer and tried but still we don’t see any texts in the new posts while it is created and saved. The issue still remains.

I’m not sure why you have this issue as there is a default hover color that is applied on social icons as you can see also on our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ but in your case it is not applied when you hover an icon even there is the css for it – http://screencast.com/t/hcQDb3ScLpCU
Please check this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN and see if you still have this issue.

Check the permissions and if the image files are actually there or you accidentally deleted them, some images go 404 which means they are not there – http://screencast.com/t/iiGEAKlnTGnq
@MegaMenu issue – try to disable all plugins, enable only Visual Composer and see if the issue is still there. Also check the error.log file, the cause of this issue may be recorded in it.

I’ve tested tinymce advanced on my side, i’ve created a new post, added some text, images and a featured image and the post was saved without any problem. Try to disable the rest of the plugins except for Visual Composer and Tinymce advanced and see if the issue is still there.

I don’t know why you have this issue, maybe it is related to a plugin that you use or custom modifications or a caching issue. You can disable all plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN and see if you still have this issue.

Try to disable all plugins except for Visual Composer and see if the issue is still there. I’ve tried this on my side and the ad doesn’t display over the other elements. thanks for the feedback – I’ve tried the steps you’ve suggested, but no luck. However I have been able to replicate the problem by creating a new (empty) post and adding a tagdiv gallery using the classic interface, it works fine. But when I switch to visual composer and add another section, for example a text block below the slider image is offset to the right, as well as the caption text immediately below the photo!
I’ve added some custom CSS to the page to fix it as a temporary workaround, maybe this can give you a clue as to what causes this. Are you able to replicate the same issue on your Newspaper installation, or is it just something specific to my setup?

This error appears from Visual Composer plugin, we have also added a ticket to the plugin support and we hope to be fixed in the next update.
About the blank pages you should not have this issue as those pages are automatically added when the demo is installed. Did you get any errors when you have installed the demo? 2. Theme supports bbpress without any custom modifications that’s why the bbpress template doesn’t exist anymore. Not sure what you mean, the header ad is not added using visual composer plugin. The header ad is displayed automatically when you paste the code in header ad area from Theme Panel – http://screencast.com/t/sShfSt2B5r If you want to block it on specific pages you can add a condition in header template that you use – http://screencast.com/t/6po3ngg40g5
The theme doesn’t have an option to place ads in the page content, like there is on posts(top, inline,bottom), if this is what you mean and you will have to use Ad box block from Visual Composer.

Please try to regenerate your thumbnails using – https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/ also check this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and see if the issue persist.

unfortunately it isn’t any more as it was yesterday. The only remaining formatting is bold (on post pages as well as the author page).
I’m not sure what exactly I did, but one thing I remember: I changed the visual composer settings and activated the post content type.
Any idea how I get back the p and br tags working in the biographical info box?

There are two post types: Standard and Video.
When I select Video, the featured image in not shown and instead I get an option to put featured video url.
But I prefer adding the video inside the post using visual composer, because it’ll remain there if I ever change the theme.
So, what I want now is that when I don’t insert the video url in featured video area, the featured image set on that post should appear with default style.
Is it possible with some tweaking?
