Hello!
Indeed there is an issue with the CSS Analyzer that our developers are working on fixing as soon as possible.
We are sorry for the inconveninece!
Thank you!
Hello,
Seems you have a footer from Cloud Template, the background image need to be set with tagDiv Composer, on the row on the footer section in the tab called “CSS”=> https://www.screencast.com/t/icgswNVnEwOY
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hey there!
We are having an issue after the update to the newer version of the Newspaper theme, which is only displaying is the post page of the backend and on the single post edit page.
I am providing you with a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/MpO0fxl
The error displays the following:

Hi Vlad – this is not my experience. I originally updated the theme to 11 via FTP. This is the only way I have ever updated the theme. I also made a backup both on my server and manually via copying custom code (CSS, HTML), the Theme export option, PHPmyadmin backup and WordPress XML backup.
Now none of these backups work. The Newspaper txt file says it is invalid which is basically impossible. I have multiple backups going back years, and I’ve tried several to see if my last backup really was corrupt and none work.
There obviously seems to be an issue with V11 as there are many many posts here on the forum with people having the same exact issues. I’ve been using Newspaper for 5 years and done all backups the same way and never had one single issue until now. The theme was basically reset to all default values and I have no way of restoring them.
Even when I try to restore a server backup (SiteGround) from days before I did the 11 update, I get V10.4(?) but my options/widgets/customization is still all missing. I know that it is pulling the old backup because the more recent posts are missing.
I have tried all available options that I have and nothing is working other than importing my CSS. Everything else related to the theme is gone. I am at a total loss with no other options to move forward other than to rebuild the site.
If you have any additional suggestions, PLEASE let me know. This has caused a MAJOR issue for me and my client. They are VERY unhappy and the site has been down for days now and still no answers.
Hi!
Is there a problem with the CSS Analyzer tool? I cannot use it, because it never finishes the task…
I can open it, but it is impossible to create Critical CSS inside the tool.
I checked, and it is not a plugin incompatibility..
Hi there,
After I updated to the latest version my menu at oldnewsclub.com will not stretch!
I’m running “header style 10”
And “Force Full Width / Header menu / Stretch container and content” but with no luck.
I have tried to delete all my own CSS which isn’t the problem.
All the best,
Steen Hansen

Hello,
I think the solution can be a custom code CSS, for this please send the link to your website to be able to help you.
Also, you can try this custom code CSS
.page .td-container-wrap {
background: #FFFFFF;
}
Set the code in Theme Panel -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS.
Let me know about your results,
Thank you!
Hi,
Just to be clear and avoid misduerstandings, what preloading are you referring to? For what elements and how exactly are you planning to preload them, or what option are you referring to?
Preloading or prioritizing the content above the fold is indeed useful. The blocks have an option for preloading the posts they display – https://i.imgur.com/3DpX6Mz.png That is available for blocks and per block only however, not the whole page or other elements from the page.
Preloading posts in a block means they will be displayed faster when using the ajax menu filter, as they are already loaded on page load. Opposed to using the ajax menu and waiting a little for the posts to load.
The relatively new CSS analyzer tool we added a few updates ago also helps, with the CSS. It will split and load the critical CSS first, and the rest will be loaded in the footer.
Preload capabilities are usually provided by optimization plugins or caching plugins, for example – https://onlinemediamasters.com/preload-key-requests-wordpress/ Some have options to preload specific resources and URLs. The theme has no actual general preload option/setting for a website.
These being said, how exactly could we help in the matter? Let me know.
Thank you!
Hello
CSS Analyzer does not work nor does it load the Cloud Templates view.
You can see it here: https://www.loom.com/share/d5a640d387ca4657a7903cf89ba96bf2
Hi Yes I have tried restoring from server backup and restoring Newspaper settings export. Neither works. I tried reverting to V10.xx and that doesn’t allow me to reimport settings either. I have copies of my CSS so was able to get that back but I’ve lost all custom widgets, footer, header, thumbnails, basically my entire site is completely broken.
I have made sure all plugins are installed several times.
Hosting with Siteground and they no longer have cpanel access. But this issue doesn’t seem to be unique to me, there are MANY posts here in the forumn of the same or similar issue.
Hello!
Please try this css code: .td-gallery-slide-copywrite {
background-color: white;
}
.tdi_90 .wp-caption-text, .tdi_90 figcaption {
color:Red!important;
Thank you!
Hello!
Unfortunately, we do not have a tested plugin or a CSS to achieve this.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello!
If you are using a PRO demo or cloud library template that is being done via tagDiv Composer. Theme panel does not work over cloud library templates.
In order to increase the width click on the ROW button and you are able to set it wider: https://www.screencast.com/t/YXYVRjSFhK
For the background color, on the ROW button – CSS Tab: https://www.screencast.com/t/FdPWxq0iK0
Thank you!
I updated my site to V11 and shortly after had several theme plugins mysteriously deactivate themselves. I reactivated and all was good. Then a week later, same thing but this time, the theme says it’s not activated, and I’ve also lost ALL theme options, ALL client ads, ALL Custom CSS, the list goes on and on, it’s basically a fresh install of Newspaper… the only things left on my site are my 3rd party plugins and post content.
Reading through the forum this seems to be a very buggy release. I have daily backups but every restored backup has the same exact issue.
Any advice?
Yes I’ve also updated to 11 and lost my entire site. Newspaper basically looks like a clean install. All Custom CSS – gone. All client ads – gone. All thumbnails – gone. Homepage – gone. Logos – gone.
Only thing left are the post pages themselves.
Thankfully I have daily backups but as of now they aren’t any different. This happened about a week-2 weeks after the update.
Hello,
This is my home page https://www.emprunter-malin.com/. I am looking to display only Flex Bloc 1 in order to accelerate the loading time.
However due to several empty columns the bloc is not displaying at full screen length https://www.screencast.com/t/UUUfKxBF.
Can you let me know how do I get rid of these empty colomuns ?

Thanks in advanced.
sorry if I enter but it’s important speaking of CSS:
I upgraded to 11 and everything works fine except for a small bug:
when you store the “critical” css on a post page, the related amp page loses its custom settings.
Eg, the color of the header, the font size, are only possibles in default ones.
If you want to customize a bit the amp pages of the articles you have to give up the “css generator”.
Sorry for the intrusion, but it was important, maybe it can be fixed with little …
Thanks for your attention
M
Thanks for your response! I’ve already checked the documentation. The question is whether there is a customized option to prevent doubled articles with pagination other than the offset function. Some kind of CSS or plugin or something else?
Hello!
We need a link to your website in order to edit that. Please provide url and we will take a look at what css will work.
Thank you!
My site is https://itons.net/.
Another thing I’ve learned is that this doesn’t happen if the background color is the same.
Fixed headers get weird if they have different background colors.
Even if you arbitrarily modify the CSS with the Chrome browser developer tools, you will get the same result.
We are always grateful for answers to questions that are lacking.
Hello!
The code you already have created In order to override css files i created a style.css in child theme’s folder. Styles from this file do not overide all default css. Once inserted in Head it should load faster.
Thank you!
the second problem i managed to fix it by going on tagdiv composer on css tab and putting zeros on the right and left.
On the first problem it is loading more and different posts but not from the same category. For example we go to “gaming news”. The first 6 posts that shows are from the “gaming news”, but when i am loading more then it shows posts from all the categories. This is happening on mobile and desktop too.

Hi!
We are currently using the Pulses Pro design, which the links look very dull, almost unnoticeable. Is it possible through some option or CSS code that are underlined?
Regards.
Hi there,
I’m using your Fashion demo for one of mi sites: https://marieclaire.com.mx/dejate-seducir-por-lo-nuevo-de-ulla-johnson/
In Single Post Template: I added a column to the row where de Single Post content is.
It looks OK in desktop but I’m having an issue in mobiles: content es cropped on the right size.
I tried all the settings and Css for mobile, but the changes I do seems not to be affecting either the row, column or element.
What’s weird: I do can see the changes in tagdiv editor and in my iPhone SE 2020, but not in the rest of mobile devices.
Hope you can help me to fix this. Thanks in advance,
Gerardo
