Thanks Catalin,
but I got to tell ya, the screensnap (CoLUY7ZCcpuC) you are showing me does not look impressive. Too much space on the line height etc…
My problem is I don’t want a second line of menu spill over on the ipad. Nor do I want a very tiny font size. Just want control of the space between the categories and the arrows gone. Don’t need arrows, because the category highlights itself.
My site is p a r a d i s e f o u n d t o u r s .com
I really think the menu choices need better design to allow more categories and more letters.
Would you be so kind as to spare any css for that?
Thank you.
Also, since you are visiting my site on ipad. Any suggestions on fixing the deadspace on the right sidebar. When viewing on desktop the space after the video player stops to allow the body content to catch up (which is awesome) but on ipad it does not. It just shows a big space. any suggestions?
Thanks so much.
Hi,
Can you please take a look at my homepage, it’s not centered like all the categories pages and post page. It moves about 40px to the left, I removed all the custom css but the result still the same. http://www.nguoivietonline.us
Thank you
Hello, Catalin and thank you for responding.
I think that I might not have been quite clear on my issue so I got an example.
This is a site with the same theme, and when you open its front page it has the same widgets as the desktop version: http://www.worldnewspolitics.com/
That is what I want and not see a Latest Article list.
How can I do that? Changing the .css doesn’t change this.
Thanks

Looks the same even if I delete all my custom CSS in my theme panel. Everything functioned perfect before the update.
Thanks,

Hello,
i’m using one of the demo as a base design.. but i just realise that demo comes with specific CSS.. how to delete/remove CSS call for the demo site ?
Hello Sandman,
It seems to be a mini issue from your Theme colors. Please try to use the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
.td-mobile-close a {
background-color:initial;
}
The result -> http://screencast.com/t/yy4N4D5aSeS
Thanks.
Change these lines of code in ~/includes/td_css_generator.php and re-save your colours in the theme panel, and it’s back to V2 behavior:
Line 35: .mfp-content .td-login-wrap .btn,
Line 36: .mfp-content .td_display_err,
Line 158: .mfp-content .td_login_tab_focus {
Line 167: .mfp-content .td-login-panel-title,
Hi,
You can use this css to bring the ad closer together:
.home .td-main-page-wrap{
padding-top: 0!important;
}
.home .td-a-rec-id-custom_ad_1 > div{
margin-bottom: 0!important;
}
You can add the code in the theme panel->custom css box
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hello Tycoonz Fitness,
Unfortunately, please notice that our theme does not have such a simple option for this but only if you add them through code. Please keep in mind that if you want to edit the files which affect the posts, you will have to edit the single template and loop-single for each template. Also, all the functions from our theme have been located in functions.php, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/m9AxbprUEKB and here -> http://screencast.com/t/XhYjNGXPJ
Please notice that our support does not cover this type of request and if you want to do that, please notice that you need to have a solid knowledge of PHP/HTML/JS/CSS and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry
Thanks for oyur understanding!
Either way, there’s a “problem here:
if td-login-wrap is not supposed to affect colours, it should be taken out (since it’s not doing anything)
or
if the colours are meant to be adjusted, the css overrides for td-login-wrap should be updated to include the new prefix: eg; “mfp-content .td-login-wrap {”
(Specific Example: This is an override the appears in the css relevant to the login modal box – it includes an override for “.td-login-wrap” {V2 style login}, but not “.mfp-content .td-login-wrap” {V3 style login} – the login css should be either removed or updated from this override đ :
.td-header-border::before, .td-trending-now-title, .td_block_mega_menu .td_mega_menu_sub_cats .cur-sub-cat, .td-post-category:hover, .td-header-style-2 .td-header-sp-logo, .td-next-prev-wrap a:hover i, .page-nav .current, .widget_calendar tfoot a:hover, .td-footer-container .widget_search .wpb_button:hover, .td-scroll-up-visible, .dropcap, .td-category a, input[type=âsubmitâ]:hover, .td-post-small-box a:hover, .td-404-sub-sub-title a:hover, .td-rating-bar-wrap div, .td_top_authors .td-active .td-author-post-count, .td_top_authors .td-active .td-author-comments-count, .td_smart_list_3 .td-sml3-top-controls i:hover, .td_smart_list_3 .td-sml3-bottom-controls i:hover, .td_wrapper_video_playlist .td_video_controls_playlist_wrapper, .td-read-more a:hover, .td-login-wrap .btn, .td_display_err, .td-header-style-6 .td-top-menu-full, #bbpress-forums button:hover, #bbpress-forums .bbp-pagination .current, .bbp_widget_login .button:hover, .header-search-wrap .td-drop-down-search .btn:hover, .td-post-text-content .more-link-wrap:hover a, #buddypress div.item-list-tabs ul li > a span, #buddypress div.item-list-tabs ul li > a:hover span, #buddypress input[type=âsubmitâ]:hover, #buddypress a.button:hover span, #buddypress div.item-list-tabs ul li.selected a span, #buddypress div.item-list-tabs ul li.current a span, #buddypress input[type=âsubmitâ]:focus, .td-grid-style-3 .td-big-grid-post .td-module-thumb a:last-child::before, .td-grid-style-4 .td-big-grid-post .td-module-thumb a:last-child::before, .td-grid-style-5 .td-big-grid-post .td-module-thumb::after, .td_category_template_2 .td-category-siblings .td-category a:hover, .td-weather-week::before, .td-weather-information::before
Hmm.. OK.. I changed my colour scheme in Version 2 of this theme, and they disappeared on the login modal box only when I updated to Version 3… Was it accidental that my login modal box was taking on colours from the theme’s color panel in version 2?
I realise a few extra parts were added / split off with the new mobile menu that has been created, but I guess I just assumed whoever recoded the login box simply used a new range of style tags that had not been included in the color lists… but if you say it was never meant to be like that, fair enough.
It seems weird to me that the overide CSS that gets applied on the same page as the login window includes “.td-login-wrap” as an overide (it never applies, because it’s not specific enough) – even in your version 3 color code overrides…..
..”.td-login-wrap” was the old class that was used in V2’s old login box used to use before you introduced .mfp-content in front of that selector….. Are you sure? If so, that’s a waste of a css tag if it’s not meant to do anything..
Hi
The color for the login modal won’t change because the selectors are not included on the list. The theme does not have an option which change these colors so only custom css can do it by targeting the specific selectors.
Thanks!
Hello tayoso92,
If you want to add a photo to your header, please notice that you will have to use the background-image using a bit of CSS code. For more information about this, you can refer to this topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/background-photo-in-header/
Hope this helps!
If you need more assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer and also, so I can provide you a more accurate code.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Marto,
Please notice that if you will check our Theme panel, there you will find the Theme colors section and from there you will manage all the colors for your theme, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/etyRaosiNePJ Also, if you want to use the custom CSS code, you can add your code in Custom CSS code field like this -> http://screencast.com/t/c6AdJH25
Hope this helps!
If you refer to something else, please provide more details.
Thanks.
Hello Tale,
So, please notice that the Mobile Theme is an additional plugin of our theme and it is optional. This feature can be disabled from the panel is you will turn off the mobile plugin. If you will do that, the theme will be switched to the default responsiveness mobile version and this will bring all your customizations which you have done for the mobile version. As you can see, the mobile theme is totally a different template and if you want to customize it as you want, you will have to add all your custom CSS code in the certain field from Mobile Theme, like this ->http://screencast.com/t/iaPKq1eg
Please notice that our mobile theme feature does not display you the content of your pages, but only for your posts. The mobile theme has only 2 modules which will be displayed on your side when the mobile plugin is activated -> Big Grid Mob 1 which contain the all your posts sorted from the Featured Category and on the bottom of the page you will bring the Latest articles. So, if you want to add some content on your pages you will have to manually add from the Visual Composer. Mobile Editor, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/P7uJGjo5qWGl For more information about mobile theme, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hope this helps!
If you encounter other problem with this, please let us know.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
If you want to replicate the design form the other website, you need to use another block on the homepage that comes closer to the one in the other site. you can see different block templates here: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
As for the header, you will have to use one of the 3 full logo styles: 9, 10 or 11. The logo could need a few adjustments in css for responsiveness though to eliminate the top padding. If you provide a link to your site I could help with the css to some extent.
Thank you!

Hi
You can use footer template 2 to display the text block, here is an example: http://screencast.com/t/fqe4iowhxsp – http://screencast.com/t/1nb26QcX0 – http://screencast.com/t/F1pXHarL1quX
Social icons were not designed to be displayed in main menu and to achieve that you’ll need some customization in theme’s files. Basically you have to edit the file corresponding with header style used and adapt the code. Also you’ll need some css to configure the layout.
This is a complex task which require lots of customiations in order to be achieved. Unfortunately we cannot offer custom work so if you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
To hide a specif column on mobile you can add a class for it in Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/jEmnnTLxr then use it in css like here:
@media(max-width: 768px){
.my-column{
display: none!important;
}
}
Thanks!
Hi,
If you want to add a background image to your categories, you can do it from the theme panel here: http://screencast.com/t/Obbm3HOkOOv
In order to use the css I provided above, there is no file needed. You can add the code in the theme panel->custom code section. In custom css: http://screencast.com/t/DCmy9nx1
As for your second question, that is the ajax filter for blocks. Please use this guide to set up the ajax filter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Thank you!
Steps to replicate issue on a fresh install:
Set up a vanilla site. Change the colour scheme from blue backgrounds and blue writing to say red or something.
You will see nothing will update the colours of the login modal in full screen mode. Only applying forced custom css will work.
If this is by design, great – but in version 2 some colours did apply.

Do you mean the color picker panel from the theme panel? because that didnt seem to take any effect.. đ
As soon as i remmed out these entries, my login panel picked up the colours that were set in the colors chosen in the theme panel (like they were in v2)?
Or did you mean the custom css “code” section?
Hi
The css from theme panel it’s loaded after main css from style.css. The code from theme panel will overwrite the style from style.css so there shouldn’t be any issue with that.
Thanks!
Hi
That happens because you’re using black background-color for top bar and also the color for twitter icon is black. You have to change either top bar’s color or icon’s color. To color fro top bar can be changed from theme panel >theme colors and for twitter icon you can use this css:
.td-header-sp-top-widget .td-social-icon-wrap i{
color: red;
}
Thanks!
