Hi,
How can I create these boxes for WooCommerce products?
from this demo:
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_real_estate_pro/
Thank you!
Thank you, I managed to translate it, it’s nice to have it solved without having to install external plugins 🙂
However, I have a few more questions 🙂
1. How does a subscription work on the portal, how can it be set up, and what does it offer the user? https://prnt.sc/XL9gBxCIHWpO
2. How to set blocks to have identical width?

Hello,
The Object Cache (Redis) should work perfectly fine with the theme. Just make sure that if you’re on a shared hosting environment, you configure the Redis settings properly in your wp-config.php file. This guide can help:
https://kb.hosting.com/docs/configuring-wordpress-to-use-redis
Please note that key verification doesn’t occur during login. It happens when you try to use the theme builder, access theme updates, install a demo, check the “My License” tab, or browse cloud templates.
If there’s an issue related to key verification and Redis caching, one potential fix is to delete the Redis object cache file that was created. In 99% of cases, this resolves the problem.
Thank you!
Hello,
There are a few situations when the cloud templates can not be imported, so it is essential to make sure that the theme requirements are set as we mentioned in this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If the settings are set and the situation persists, please let me know the pre-built website you want to install and you are facing this situation.
Also, an alternative is to import the template for that demo, which can be done from the Cloud template – https://i.imgur.com/rXvPvP9.png
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, the theme works with review snippets, you can test it using our example review https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/td-post-laptop-with-128-bit-processor-32gb-of-ram-and-24mp-front-camera/and the rich results test – https://i.imgur.com/kVVB0CO.png https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result/r%2Freview-snippet?id=BHGrsoHRPLzaTHp3R2OC7A
Hi,
The orange color is a global color on the demo you are using, so what you can do is to use tagDiv Composer, edit a page, select the manager and in colors, change the color from orange to the new color you want https://imgur.com/lwb7sNv
The situation with the menu on mobile can be resolved by using tagDiv Composer, slect the mobile view port, then select the top row, the one holding the logo and check the css tab – https://i.imgur.com/DNsPpin.png that -10 margin should be remvoed and the problem will be resolved.
Hi,
1.I imported the demo theme from the following link:
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_shop_makeup/
I want to use it in RTL.
Why are the elements in the demo theme flush to the edges, but on my site they have some spacing? (I’ve marked it with a red arrow)
2.And how can I properly align the header elements? (I’ve marked it with a blue arrow)
Thank you!
I’ve seen it in the doctor demo, I want it like that in my own header, so not the header layout of that theme but just the search bar like that and have my own sentence in it till a visitor click in the search bar.

Hi,
Please use this guide https://support.coingecko.com/hc/en-us/articles/21880397454233-User-Guide-How-to-sign-up-for-CoinGecko-Demo-API-and-generate-an-API-key
Thank you!
Hi,
The plugin is indeed provided with the theme, but we no longer recommend using it; we recommend using the theme builder, tagDiv Composer, all demos and templates from our theme are made with the theme builder.
You can find the latest version in the theme package if you download it from ThemeForest.
You can find the WP Bakery in this path Newspaper-tf\code\other_plugins if you want to use it.
Thank you!
Hi,
What I will recommend is to use a homepage https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Also, if you like a theme demo, you can install it https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately, we do now have a built element with horizontally scrollable, but you can use a flex block and use the next prev pagination, for mobile you can use the “Next Prev swipe” option – https://i.imgur.com/S1nzksi.png something like this – https://i.imgur.com/NMvWapi.png – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_week_pro/ that section can also be get in ytour page from clkoud anbd you can key and edit what you need -https://i.imgur.com/clOkcCW.png
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, I would like to use this header in my website but aligned to the right:
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_shop_makeup/header/
The shop will be active, but not in this exact style.
My website will be for selling digital files and educational content.
Thank you.
Hi,
Unfortunately, it will be need to be done from scratch. Do you want it to be exactly the same as this one https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_shop_makeup/header/, but on RTL, or without the shop part?
Thank you!
Hi, how can I build this header from scratch aligned to the right? Can you help me?
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_shop_makeup/header/
I placed the rtl.css file inside the template files
Thanks
Hi,
First, you need to choose a RTL language. After that, you can install an RTL demo https://i.imgur.com/UA69Pa8.png and start working on it, or if you want, you can create your own one with tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hi,
You can use any demo made with our theme, and any of the themes works correctly with the WooCommerce plugin. You can also use the tgaDi Shop plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-shop/. Also, in the coming theme, we’ll provide better functionality with extra WooCommerce plugins. The update is estimated for the end of the month.
Thank you!
My wordpress website had an issue so i have to wipe it off, reinstall it again and also make the domain shorter, it was http://www.nigeriahousingnews.com.ng but now housingnews.com.ng but when i want to activate the newspaper theme so i can download demo content it says activation code invalid. Can someone from tagdiv please help. thanks.
Good morning, I just imported and successfully registered the theme on my staging site.
I imported a demo site template and installed all the necessary plugins.
However, I’m having a major problem: it’s as if TagDiv Composer isn’t working. I can’t edit the pages with its interface; I can only use the basic WordPress interface.
Furthermore, if I go to the dashboard, I get a banner that says “Your license for Newspaper Theme is not assigned on this website!” But if I go to the theme dashboard, it says it’s registered correctly, and if I go to the “My License” section, nothing appears on that screen.
What can I do?
Hi,
The PRO demos do not use the theme panel settings, use the settings form cloud templates. In your situation, what can be done is to edit the single post template using tagDiv Composer, select the featured image and check the image size – https://i.imgur.com/kc6Me46.jpeg – https://i.imgur.com/JkcRlPo.jpeg – https://i.imgur.com/i4KX7nK.jpeg
Thank you!
Hello TagDiv Support,
I’m using Newspaper 12 with the Travel Pro demo.
When I open a single post, the featured image appears very zoomed in instead of showing in its normal proportion.
I have checked the Theme Panel → Template Settings and Post Settings, but I can’t find the exact option to disable cropping or set the featured image to display in full/original size. I also don’t see the “Template for Single Posts” option you mention in your documentation, so I think the site is still using the default theme templates from the demo import.
Could you please let me know:
Where exactly I can change the image crop settings for the featured image in single posts for the Travel Pro demo?
If I need to adjust image sizes in Theme Panel → Image Settings, which image size ID is used for the single post header so I can change only that one?
Thank you for your help!
Best regards,
Hi,
There isn’t unfortunately. There is no relation between our composer and elementor. You must either build the page with elementor or with the composer. Our composer is old if we refer to when it was released, so is elementor. We introduced it in Newspaper 8, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t improved it a lot. Please check the theme demos and the cloud library https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/All Everything you see there is built with the composer. It’s quite a capable builder. You could consider building the page with it if you want to use blocks and grids from the theme. Let us know if you need help with it.
Thank you!
Hi,
That’s correct, the theme itself is about 3 MB. Only old versions of the theme were larger, before we had to make these modifications https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
So the bulk of the theme is in the composer plugin, which is required. Please install the theme normally, and then there should be a prompt to install the composer. Then the theme can be activated with the license key and that’s it. You can install a theme demo and begin customizing it with the composer.
Please let us know if you have more questions.
Thank you!
We ran into a reproducible issue with the Newsmag theme (tagDiv Composer) when importing a demo on PHP 8.2.
Symptoms:
tagDiv Importer stops with error:
Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot access offset of type string on string in td_demo_util.php
Log also shows Undefined variable $sidebars_widgets and Automatic conversion of false to array is deprecated.
Root cause:
In td_demo_widgets::add_widget_to_sidebar(), the code uses $sidebars_widgets before it’s retrieved from get_option(‘sidebars_widgets’) and normalised.
PHP 8.x is stricter about this than PHP 7.x — in PHP 7 it silently converted null/false to array; in PHP 8 it throws a fatal error.
Workaround:
Patch the function to fetch and normalise $sidebars_widgets before using it. Here’s a minimal fix:
static function add_widget_to_sidebar($sidebar_id, $widget_name, $atts) {
$tmp_sidebars = td_options::get_array('sidebars');
if (empty($tmp_sidebars)) {
$tmp_sidebars = array();
}
if (!in_array('td-' . $sidebar_id, self::$hard_coded_sidebars) &&
!in_array($sidebar_id, $tmp_sidebars)
) {
self::kill(__CLASS__, __FUNCTION__,
'No sidebar with the name provided! - td-' . $sidebar_id,
array_merge(self::$hard_coded_sidebars, $tmp_sidebars)
);
}
// Normalise $atts
if (!is_array($atts)) {
if (is_string($atts)) {
$tmp = json_decode($atts, true);
$atts = is_array($tmp) ? $tmp : array();
} else {
$atts = array();
}
}
// FIX: Get and normalise $sidebars_widgets BEFORE using
$sidebars_widgets = get_option('sidebars_widgets');
if (!is_array($sidebars_widgets)) {
$sidebars_widgets = array();
}
$sb_key = 'td-' . td_util::sidebar_name_to_id($sidebar_id);
if (!isset($sidebars_widgets[$sb_key]) || !is_array($sidebars_widgets[$sb_key])) {
$sidebars_widgets[$sb_key] = array();
}
// Normalise widget instances
$opt_key = 'widget_' . $widget_name;
$widget_instances = get_option($opt_key);
if (!is_array($widget_instances)) {
$widget_instances = array();
}
// Add instance
$widget_instances[self::$last_widget_instance] = $atts;
update_option($opt_key, $widget_instances);
// Assign widget to sidebar
$sidebars_widgets[$sb_key][self::$last_sidebar_widget_position] =
$widget_name . '-' . self::$last_widget_instance;
update_option('sidebars_widgets', $sidebars_widgets);
self::$last_sidebar_widget_position++;
self::$last_widget_instance++;
}
Notes:
Tested on PHP 8.2.29 with Plesk Obsidian and Newsmag 5.4.3.3.
This patch allows the demo importer to complete successfully without downgrading PHP.
The EXIF warnings you may see in logs during import are unrelated and non-fatal.
If tagDiv devs see this — moving the $sidebars_widgets = get_option(‘sidebars_widgets’) block up in the function would resolve this for all PHP 8+ users.
