If that is a plugin then check the plugin settings and configuration instructions. The theme cannot control the plugin if it is not displaying properly.

Please notice that our theme was fully tested with the smart sidebar functionality and it seems to work as expected on my side, sorry! Notice that functionality comes from Jave Script and this can be corrupted if you are using some untested plugins which can cause this effect. Try to disable all of them, leave just only bundled plugins to be active, clear all the caches and check the results. The simplest way to achieving the Gadgets demo is to import the demo at your website and using it with your data/posts/pages. If you do not like this way, you should inspect our demo preview with the Inspector browser because in that way you can identify what kind of blocks element is used. The theme uses a center-top cropping system, this is believed to be the best in general. Each theme module has a predefined thumbnail size, so results may be different for the same featured image used

That could be available in future theme updates, but for the moment the category pages cannot be edited and insert Blocks and other elements. All the settings for the category pages will have to be made through the theme panel

On a category page there will be a Top grid of your choosing, and a loop containing posts from that category, also a chosen sidebar. The module that displays the posts can be changed by category as well.

If you will check our demo preview, regarding on the dates, you will not see that format date, sorry! Try to disable any untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. I’m sorry but please notice that’s the original theme’s behavior for this kind of Big Grid. If you will check our demo preview, you will see the same behavior. If you want to change this, you should do it yourself and edit the theme’s core files where this is created. Notice that is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
