Yes, there are supposed to be pictures in your install. They will be present in the media library when imported.
The main reasons for a demo not being installed properly are as follows:
1) memory allocation: please make sure you follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
2) mbstring – Make sure you have it active on your host: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6658561/how-to-enable-mbstring-from-php-ini depending on host you can contact your host provider to ask about mbstring activation as some have restricted access to php extensions.
3) plugins – Please try to disable all plugins and clear all caching before attempting to install a demo.

This will display information based on the available selection you choose in each of the block settings. There is no option to enter additional information in that field, it is an automated process that can only work with the options it currently has.

You do not need to buy the Visual composer plugin, simply install it and use it

The theme reset will remove all the theme panel settings, and the content of an installed demo. But I don’t know how a theme panel setting could prevent the restriction form appearing on the post page, if you are absolutely sure that the plugin configuration is set according to it’s instructions. And it worked before.
You could revert to the previous theme version, to have a working website with this feature, and make more tests with the new version. Make a fresh install by FTP, install only these required plugins and test. Maybe some other plugin is causing all these problems.

Please follow my advice because in that way you will re-create the same layout with our demo and also, in the future you will understand each element used there. Try to make a sub-domain at your website and install there the Gadgets Demo with the content but do not edit it because then, if you will switch up to another demo you will loose all of your data. You should only import that demo at your subdomain and separately create the same layout for your project. If you will check the Theme panel setting, there you will find the answers to all your above questions.

Also you can ask the server for any blocked content from our server. Sometimes demos cannot install because of host firewalls blocking them.

The header style that the demo is using does not have a limit for the header logo. You can set any logo size you want, and it will be displayed as it is. This is the case for header styles 9, 10 and 11

The author box will display the profile information of the corresponding user Id entered

Some footer templates come with predefined content. This cannot be edited, you can only add content along the existing one. Other templates are blank, and depend on the content you enter in the footer sections.

If you activated the mobile theme (which is an optional plugin) then a predefined layout will be displayed for the homepage, post page etc. If you would like to display the same content from desktop on mobile devices, simply deactivate the mobile theme plugin. The theme is fully responsive and will adapt for best results.

That padding does not come from the theme. Maybe you are using a plugin for the video, and that could be adding the Css there. This inline important condition cannot be overwritten. You could try a negative margin code like this, as a quick fix

2. The Revolutions slider that is provided in the theme package does not need to be activated. Simply install it and use it
