LOVE THE THEME! When I install the demo content for the default, is it possible to get all the content of your demo? Namely the FEATURES drop down and all that is missing from the demo content, and that’s actually what I would like here on my desktop and handy the most. Thanks!

Hello ipcs,

Unfortunately, you cannot change the structure for our blocks/modules, sorry! Please consult our demo preview here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/ and there you can see how our blocks can be displayed in different cases. If you want to make some changes regarding on theme layout and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you!

Thanks for your understanding!

Optimization was made overall but it depends on your install and speed optimization as well as the image you add to your mobile menu (larger images result in slower loading). Another known issue on the menu is firefox. It loads slow over firefox. It is the way firefox handles this type of animations that makes it slower loading.
Try to test it against our demo: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ as in the demo we have not yet updated the theme version.
Thank you!

@Bogdan, its just pretty simple to reproduce.

In the general options of any block using Visual Composer the stretch options dont work. It keeps the block/module/grid boxed within the body of the page.

To give you a better idea, check the black stretched block at the middel of the demo.
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_medicine/

Before, I just set the stretch option. No big deal. Now I have to use the border options to achieve kind of the same look.

Hi,

There is an option to install the demo without the dummy content, but you will have to create your own pages. The predefined settings and classes will be loaded but until you create a page for example or recreate the one in the demo, in Visual composer, there will be no page structure. The demos are created as an example of what can be achieved using the theme. More information here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Please note that if you choose to edit the demo dummy content, when in the future you will uninstall or install a different demo, this will remove the dummy content and the modifications you made to this content. This will not remove your own created content.

Thanks

Demo is quite useful to see the changes in live before rushing to update.

Hello amitsharma312,

I guess that you want to display the Rev Slider element at the top of your homepage, just below the header, right? So, if you want to do this, you should use the Visual Composer and place the code like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/s4Qbvpe9D2uD For more references about Rev Slider, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

The theme width is fixed. If you are referring to the posts added through the demo content, they have a padding added to each paragraph that makes them narrower: https://www.screencast.com/t/LxIO0Gv1ei
If this is not what you mean, please provide more details so we can better understand how to help .

Thank you!

Hi,

That particular demo uses a media grid element from Visual composer, you just have to add it to a page – https://www.screencast.com/t/VrtkP2vX4H2z and select the images you want to be displayed and different styling options. Then you must go to the row settings – https://www.screencast.com/t/XVEBbbBwgy and stretch the row to full width. The result should be like the one in the gallery in the demo.

Thanks

Hi,

I see that you have a demo installed. That particular demo has no meta for the modules by default. This can be seen in the demohttps://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_what/ What you can do in order for the date to display, is to use this code – https://www.screencast.com/t/s5D6ly7zk then the date will be displayed.
Here is the code used, please enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css

.td-what
.td_module_wrap
.td-post-date {
display: block;
}

Thank you for understanding!

Hello,

The demos have nothing to do with plugins. The theme functionality is not affected by the demos. The demos simply add a css style but do not change functionality. Plugins and all other functionality work the same with or without demos.

Thank you!

Method “Load More” & “Infinite Load” does not work on all computers. On one computer when you open the site works, on the computer of another person does not work. What could be the reason?
For example page http://zvuk-m.com/fedos.html
There are two such blocks, the “Load More” works on my computer and does not work on a friend’s computer. Operating systems and browsers are the same.
The problematic computers constantly spin GIF Download and nothing happens.
At them on your demo page (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/) all works perfectly!
I can not understand anything (((

By using one of the demos, does that mean we cannot further customise or install third-party plugins? I can’t seem to get them working.

Thank you.

Hi,

You can see the thumbnails sizes that the theme modules are using here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/ If you want to have different sizes for your modules, this will have to be made custom by modifying the theme files, and it would not be an easy task. Please try to choose from the available modules, with their respective thumb sizes for your project. You can find all the available theme blocks in the demohttps://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/ and Big Grids here – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
If you have a blog, you can set a module for the posts on the page here – https://www.screencast.com/t/4HvP1ZUxj

Thanks

Hi,

You can see how block 16 for example looks in different layout settings here in the demohttps://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-16/ This block is using these modules – https://www.screencast.com/t/HH1Pm04bmy Please note that not all modules have the same design and structure – https://www.screencast.com/t/HH1Pm04bmy has this structure – https://www.screencast.com/t/qvRP364uu and in this case – https://www.screencast.com/t/7UWcYu9C has this structure – https://www.screencast.com/t/cTvwweIMU
Maybe you could have a layout like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/ITpJTMGSvx and use each of the block settings to limit the posts number, filter, sort or offset the posts displayed in the respective blocks.

Thanks

Goodday,

Please tell me how to style the “related articles” box.
I’m using the BabyBlog demo on my website, but there is something wrong with tis box.
See https://zwanger.co/bloedarmoede/ to see what I mean.
There’s only 1 option visible instead of 2 in the box header.

Regards
eric

I’m playing around with customizing the Beauty Blog demo in a staging area for my blog, and am having problems using the TagDiv Author Box.

When I first add the box, it shows one of the admins for the blog, along with their gravatar. If I try to change ANY of the fields in the box, it removes that displayed Author Name and gravatar (there’s just a grayed out silhouette and the words “author name”). Which would be ok, but no matter what author name I put in the Author ID field, it won’t bring up a display name or gravatar.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there an alternate author ID I’m not aware of?
