Hi there,
I’ve managed to get the theme uploaded and activated, but I’m getting the following error message when I try to install a demo:

Can anyone help at all please?
Thanks
Hello Mayapur Voice,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to offers you a possibility to set different background image for your each page. If you want to achieve this, you have to use a bit of CSS code and insert the different image for each page with page ID. Also, you have to use background-image attribute for achieving that. Below I gave you an example of one page.
The code is ->
.page-id-951 .td-main-content-wrap, .page-id-951 .td-banner-wrap-full, .page-id-951 .td-header-menu-wrap {
background-image: url('http://wowslider.com/sliders/demo-5/data/images/saarschleife.jpg');
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-size: 1920px 1080px;;
}
Consult here http://screencast.com/t/xPK02pMJwb and see how you can get the page id.
Please notice that you need some additional customizations after this code that involves custom work. If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for the message!
Hello Mayapur Voice,
I have checked your screenshots but on the real theme are not some differences about the size of pages. As you can see in our documentation, the original width is 1068px. The theme has been designed to be used on this layout, for better results. Unfortunately, we do not recommend to increase or decrease this width because the layout of the theme will be broke. Also, please notice that if you set the background image or background color from Theme panel, the layout of the theme will be boxed. Actually, all the time, you have to take as a reference our demo preview, like this -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ because there you can see the original dimension of the page.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
You can install the rest of the theme’s plugins from the plugins section I mentioned above. WP plugins can be installed from the plugins section of WP. The default demo can sometimes provide a server error in certain conditions so it’s best to try again a couple of times. If it still does not work, please follow this topic to see what can be done in this case: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-demo-installation-failing-jax-error-cannot-connect-to-server/
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
Thanks. I’m clear on #2.
For question #1, I’m referring to the image inside the blog post, not the background image.
In this example:http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/td-post-8-infinity-pools-you-have-to-see-to-believe/ blog image #1, 4, 5 doesn’t extend to the border… but blog image #2, 3 extends to the border.
I would like it to extend to the border.
I noted something interesting but am not able to figure out what makes it happen. Your demo site covers wider screen space when shown in the Envato market frame – like this https://gyazo.com/9961423932d4737862bc727f90624388 But if I remove the Envato frame the screen size covered by the content reduces and leaves empty space on both sides – see this https://gyazo.com/64a0f2cace90774b2320a168963ee941. I thought it may have something to do with the frame.
But then I also noted a showcase site showing wider images and content covering more of the screen https://gyazo.com/0ad2e1442fcb067d01510f11412fff8e but our website shows shrunken images and covers less of the screen leaving more empty space on both the sides https://gyazo.com/8b5937a3e0198e4a2b6e7f73df7b1743. I have tested this using the same screen resolution.
Can you tell me what is the reason behind this? Different grid / block size or something else? I would like to to have bigger images and cover more screen space. Your input will help. Thanks.
Hi
1. You don’t need to create a full width image for post’s background. On the previous example from our demo we set this image: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_fashion/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/fashion-bg.jpg as a background image for fashion today category. By setting a background image for a category all posts from that category will have that image as background.
2. You can use this text formats to obtain a bigger margin on left and right side of post content: http://screencast.com/t/ioBYIWhkd – http://screencast.com/t/Pww0NKtIo
Thanks!
thank you. And How to install rest of the theme’s plugins and demo?
I have tried default demo. But it stops in between.
Hello mahmoudfathymohamed,
I have checked your website and I have noticed that you have not the featured video set it from theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/wDrk14VdzE Please ensure that you have set it your desired video as Featured video and also make sure that your theme is not influenced by some untested plugins which can cause some errors in the theme. Try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. I have tested on my side with the same post template with featured video and the video is displayed fine, as you can see in our demo preview, here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-how-to-make-a-perfect-caffe-macchiato-video/
For more information about our post templates, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-templates-2/
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
I would like to create my blog post like this example: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_fashion/td-post-nicole-millers-fun-rio-collection-is-perfect-for-zoe-saldana/
1) How do I create a full-width image that extends to (touching) the border of the post? I’m able to do so only for the featured image but not subsequent images in the body.
2) How do I create larger white space on the side (right & left) of my text? The white space in the above example looks different from this example: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/td-post-8-infinity-pools-you-have-to-see-to-believe/
Thanks.
Hello kognitoweb,
Please ensure that you have set it correct this type of feature according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/ I have tested on my side and the images are fitted as properly, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/RPQGuO6G and also you can check our demo preview and check the results, here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/
Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. If your problem is still there after my advice and if you need more assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect it closer and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thank you for the message!
Hello matpl,
I have checked your website and I have noticed that you do not have any content loaded. First of all, I recommend you to import our demo with the content for making an idea about how it was built and then you have to read all our documentation and understand each element of the theme of how it works. After these steps, you should try to implement yourself this in your website. Do you try to import our demo travel with content? I recommend this way because it more useful (for beginning) to edit existing instead of making something from scratch. Please notice that Travel demo is a custom template and requires more customization performed against the default. I suggest you consulting our Youtube channel, here -> https://www.youtube.com/user/tagdiv because there you will find a lot of useful tutorials in order to achieve best results. Also, you have our demo previews and you can compare them all the time. -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_travel/
Please notice that we cannot make your website from scratch but only we can point you in the right directions. However, if you need more assistance after you have read our documentation, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so I can further inspect your setup page and I will try to give you a helping hand. Also, please provide the link to this topic so we can know who you are and what the issue is.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
In this case you will have to switch the demo. That is the style loaded for the travel blog. If you do not want the travel demo and prefer the standard header style, you can switch the demo for the default one and create the travel homepage by following this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-stop-top-header-image-from-stretching/
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
Hello,
If the ad code is new, it can take up to a few days for adsense to provide the ads themselves. I have inspected your website and the ad code is there, just that there is no ad served from google. If it will still not show in a couple days, please contact google and let them know about it. you can test the theme ad spot with another ad (a demo ad that comes with the theme or a simple image. If this will show up, it means the adsense should work fine as well)
Thank you!
Hello Matija,
Please make sure that you do not have JavaScript errors which can be caused by untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. As you can see in our demo preview, all works fine and does not appear differences between fonts on any browsers.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
I was trying to import the slider from the demo template, but I could not find it anywhere
I was following this tutorial. But it seems that the sliders from demos were not included.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-revolution-sliders-on-demos/
Can somebody please help me to find how to include the demo sliders ?
Thanks.
Lazy Load means loading images when its close to view port of user but in Tagdiv newspaper lazy loading is not implemented, it just animate when image is close to view port but its actually not lazy loading
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/120-er-visits-linked-synthetic-wordpress-nyc-past-week/
when will this be fixed ?
Hi, I am currently working under the demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_travel/
I like the beach background, but I need to eliminate the transparency:
1) In post.
I already tried
.post, .td-main-content-wrap{
background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.75)!important;
}
What happenned? That the content of the post what whiter but the sidebar mas more transparent. Meaning this css did not modify the sidebar transparency on the background.
2) In the page.
Main page, what is the CSS to make all the center or main content white, be completely white? I read somewhere in the forum about this code, which I tried and did NOT work:
.td-container {
background-color: rgba(255,255,255,.75);
}
3) The footer.
I would also be eeding the code to set it to completely black, I need to get rid of the transparency,
So the question is.. what css do I need to make all this happen?
Thaks agani! 🙂

Chodzi o to, że strona główna zbudowana jest na Default Demo Newspaper, a chcielibyśmy aby strony, kategorie mogły wyglądać na tej stronie tak jak dodatkowe motywy, np:
Aby, gdy z tej strony głównej http://www.expresselblag.pl, gdy klikniemy w kategorie;
Hi,
I just purchased Your theme.
It looks good since I try to change anything.
Firstly I uploaded theme, then installed demo with content.
Whenever I try to change anything, for example a footer info and save those changes it doesn’t appear on website.
Its changed in theme panel, but its not on website.
What is going on ?
Hello!
I installed “Travel Demo”. When opening the web, for a few seconds is the Newspaper version and then load the Travel version. Is there any way that the Travel version will automatically open?
Thank you

Hi
You can use each theme license just on one product (website/domain) these terms are set by Envato here – http://themeforest.net/licenses/standard – http://themeforest.net/licenses/faq They specify that you can use one license for one product (website/domain). You can use it on multiple test sites and on multiple subdomains as a part of the same site-product, as we did here for example: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/
Thanks!
The instructions given in tutorials is too brief (for people like me) to understand how it works. It’s mentioned it may vary from server to server and a sample code is given that is used for the theme demo server but it’s not mention where does it go, i.e. in which file. I contacted our hosting company but they said Gzip cannot be used on any shared hosting plan! I am not sure if he understood the question so am trying to verify with you if that really is the case. Thanks.
