①This is a block from the Cloud Library template. Therefore, it seems that the size does not fit with the existing real news demo. That’s why I asked the question to adjust this. How to align the text ‘NEWS’ to ③ the line Row is not visible when the template is imported.

Unfortunately, in our theme we do not have dark mode and light mode features.
You have to do it manually. Change the background color into white from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Theme colors -> General theme colors. And also the global colors which are used in the demo, you can find and change them if you edit the homepage for example with the TagDiv Composer, access Website Manager : https://prnt.sc/LJVqfzmJ72wi.

Good morning team, I’ve been using this template and so far enjoying it. I just found a new demo site newspaper_crypto_gaming_pro please i’d love to ask if its available in light mode also, cause i have seen it only in dark mode.

It’s been 5 months and I still can’t even use Newspaper’s TagDiv Composer properly.
This is my responsibility, but there is little information about the newspaper TagDiv Composer online. Especially for non-English speaking people like me, this seems really difficult. Please improve it. It’s frustrating. Even if you ask a question, the only answer you get is the manual written in English, so even if you run a translator, you can’t understand it in technical words due to errors.

imported a demo site on it. everything seems good but have issues with the menu and mega menu.
some categories are repeating in mobile devices and in computers, and the mega menu is not visible(the subcategory is covering another category (travel)).

Only the first image has issues when sliding.
This isn’t just my site issue, it happens the same with real news demos.
And still this problem has not been solved and the resizing problem of my site has not been solved. I’m already struggling with this problem without being able to solve it.
The solution suggested by the Newspaper team is to reduce the size.
But I don’t want that and I want the image to appear in the same size as the real news demo. please help me to implement this

It’s reasurring to see the Newspaper 12.3.1 update contains an important security boost—thanks for the addition.
Unfortunately, updating to Newspaper 12.3.1 (from 12.1.1), broke the image gallery.
When opening a post and clicking an image, this opens as a new url in the same tab instead of the theme displaying the default lightbox-style effect where the url is maintained and the images are shown on top of the screen. If you hit refresh and there’s a second loading of the page, the gallery functions properly, showing the lightbox-style effect directly.
The behavior is the same for desktop and mobile, logged and incognito windows, but doesn’t show up 100% of the time.

The old demo Default can’t be installed, but you can redesign the pro as the default, with tagDiv Composer. Actually, the design is the same, except that it uses cloud templates.

that if I use my license once I cant reuse it for another month to another site.
I want to build my theme in a demo site I have and obviously I have to use my license there. Then I was thinking to deactivate my license there and use it the main site after moving my theme.
do I have to wait for one month for my licanse to be active again?

It’s fixed, so here is what I did. In order…
I uninstalled the demo.
I deactivated all plugins except Really Simple SSL and the tagdiv plugins.
I installed Magazine Pro.
So on that demo, the TRENDING NOW and the 5 post element was not showing properly when not being edited by the tagdiv composer.
I didn’t do any customization on the elements or anything that just install Magazine Pro.
On my first browser window I had the WordPress plugins page. On the next tab my website.
So I activated 3 plugins at at time, then swtiched to second tab and refreshed.
If something went wrong, I would know the 3 plugins, deactivate them and reactivate one at a time.
It got me thinking to clean up some plugins I wasn’t really using so I reduced it.
I am not using Akismet, Jetpack or Yoast SEO by the way. I am using Anitspam Bee, no replacement for Jetpack, and Slim SEO.
As I activate a plugin, I go to the second tab and refresh………It was Slim SEO that was causing the issue.
I deactivated it, deleted it. I tried Yoast SEO after this, activated it. Do the author archive thing from the link on your reply. I refresh the second tab window and voila. No problem.
So if the problem does not show up when the plugins are deactivated then when activate SLIM SEO it comes back, then when I re-deactivate Slim SEO it does not show. Yet when I change the SEO plugin to Yoast SEO and the problem does not show up. So it is Slim SEO.

If you import an entire page, then of course the content will be overwritten. You can import only a section or page, but on different new pages created previously. You can import 3 pages from Cloud Library onto the 3 new pages created. After that, you can mix the sections and create one page that you like. You can save an element or row: https://www.screencast.com/t/kVxpDT9SV in the tagdiv composer, so you can add it on every other page. The saved elements can be seen at the end of the other blocks when you add an element in the TagDiv Composer.

I do not think it is possible.
The ‘normal’ header is not an option since you cannot place a search form in it (or anything else).
The ‘above the content’ header does not work, because X is inside div ‘tdm-pm-header’. This div has z-index: 10, obviously to make the X work properly.
– As a result, whenever X visually seems to be on the same line as any other element (menu item, search form, logo with link etc), this element is not working, as it appears ‘below’ X element, so it is blocked.
You can see it here, and any other demo that has this type of menu.
– An option could probably be to set z-index 10 to any of those elements that are covered by X element?
The best would probably be, if you can please add on the list an option to have a ‘normal’ header, with logo and search form.

There are a lot of factors which can make your site slow. Make sure you use only some templates and fewer functionalities and options.
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin or not, if you are using the PRO demo or a standard one.

Is there a Twitter feed component or widget that has been demonstrated to function well with the Newspaper WordPress theme? I attempted to follow the instructions from the YouTube video Bettina suggested in her response to a group member on September 6, 2021, demonstrating how to embed a Twitter feed on a website. However, nothing appears on the page after copying and pasting the link into column text and saving the page. How to make my Twitter feed appear on the homepage of my website?
