Hi,

You can use these header styles to have full width logo: http://screencast.com/t/g4BUE9uOo8http://screencast.com/t/mJeJqKfxeZg You can use transparency: http://screencast.com/t/FT53ZNqZHmChttp://screencast.com/t/RuxS7K8FFxs
Also in Theme Colors you can set a color: http://screencast.com/t/4Dhprt6edlpGhttp://screencast.com/t/tOjVpsLo

Hope this helps!

Another newbie question: Is there a way to make the header or the logo be fullwidth and at the same time having background colored on both sides?

Hi Support: this may be an visual composer question

1) How can I shrink the space between each visual block? I am working on my home page using your template but the there is a huge space between the header menu and the first block content
2) Do you have a block of display just to display article title and date?

Thanks

Is this because of the galleries being set up in Jetpack but not available anymore?

Alin,
I tried something else because I wanted a full-width slider. I changed the header-style-8.php file and added this code in a separate div:

<!– Show Slider –>
<div><?php putRevSlider(“slider1″,”homepage”) ?></div>
<!– END Show Slider –>

I saved the header-style-8.php in the child Theme: …/themes/Newsmag-Child/parts/header/header-style-8.php
Unfortunately it doesn’t work. It works ONLY if I modify the same file in the Newsmag theme, not in the child theme. Any idea why this happens?

Hi,

Sorry for misunderstanding I thought that you want it for post template 8. So if the solution that you used in 1.5 version doesn’t work anymore, please try this for header style 8: http://screencast.com/t/QuIMq7s0

<?php if (is_front_page()){
                    putRevSlider("slider1");
                }           else{
                    locate_template('parts/header/ads.php', true);
                }?>

Result: – Homepage: http://screencast.com/t/1V9cYckqFf
– Post page : http://screencast.com/t/54R8kgijlv

Hope this helps!

Hi,

I guess that you refer to something like this: http://screencast.com/t/5Qou9dxNmzq

.td-header-main-menu{
box-shadow: 0px 6px 5px 0px rgba(41,36,34,0.7);
}

You may need to use -webkit-box-shadow or/and -moz-box-shadow for different browsers.

Hope this helps!

Hey Guys,

I did visit the various resources in the forum regarding optimizing the htaccess file and did read all the nice work Chris provided in his Sticky , but when I test my site in Google Developer Tool, it’s still complaining that I am not caching any resources , I know it’s not on the Theme guys to optimize but I was hoping you’d at least point me in the right direction, Here’s a paste of my .htaccess , I am hosted with Blushost managed WP:-

Actually, I had changed nothing in single_template_8.php.
All I had done was to create a header ad with the code <?php putRevSlider(“slider1″,”homepage”) ?>. That was done in the Theme Panel –> Ads. It was much easier than altering the single_template_8.php, but since this option does not work anymore, then I will have to modify the relevant php file.

Hey
I just put up the new installation of WP
Installed the default plugins and buddy press.
It says compatible with buddy press and bbpress
But when I try to install bbpress and activate it, the site crashes (white screen)

I’m getting these errors:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/voltaire/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php:3547) in /home/voltaire/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1178

Hi,
I had created a slider and inserted it as a Header ad in Theme Panel Ads with the code:
<?php putRevSlider(“slider1″,”homepage”) ?>
Style 8 has been chosen for the header.

This worked fine in theme version 1.5 but it no longer works in version 1.6.
As you can see in https://www.athensprivatetoursgreece.com/, slider does not show at all.
Can you please suggest a solution?

Hello,

I have a lot of problems with ads on http://www.police-scientifique.com . HEADER Ads aren’t responsive (I would like have 728*90). I try this code for exemple:

<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script>
<!– Responsive –>
<ins class=”adsbygoogle”
style=”display:block”
data-ad-client=”ca-pub-XXXXXXXX”
data-ad-slot=”XXXXX”
data-ad-format=”auto”></ins>
<script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>

On the Inline ad, you can see on my site, it’s the same problem.

When I use the “top Ads”, I try with responsive and non responsive ads but the ads size is always 300 x 300 (I try to fix adsense size for tablet or desktop, it’s the same problem) !!

Please help me !

Hi,

1. I’ve tested your SWF banner and works for me at the right size, see here: http://screencast.com/t/YedK0peDsvo
Also needed to be a little aligned to bottom, i used this CSS:

.td-a-rec object {
    position: relative;
    top: 11px;
}

2. Thanks for the suggestion, about the flash ads, you can use the code for images but instead of image paste your SWF code for each responsive sizes.

https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-system-full-guide/

Code example, instead of <a hre..... replace with your SWF code:
http://pastebin.com/Txu6RZTH

3. There need a CSS fix if you want to use with SWF’s, use this CSS

.td-header-wrap .td-header-sp-ads .td-a-rec  {
    display: block;
    margin: 20px auto 15px;
}

Thanks for the message!

I found out that the Z-index is the problem. But if I change it to 1, the search dropdown box disappears.

.td-header-main-menu {
background-color: #222222;
position: relative;
z-index: 2;
}

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Header style 3 use the same logo also on mobile view. So you don’t have to use logo for mobile, on mobiles it should display the logo like this:

Please try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css: http://screencast.com/t/Eq67nABrynQ

.header-content-rec{

I have this same issue. Was a resolution ever found?

My Flash ads *.swf in the header position do not fill the container.

Instead of 728×90 they display as 300×90 on desktop view in browser. How do I get my flash ad to display as 728×90 in the leaderboard?

Please.

Hi

I’m using Header Style 3 (full width logo + menu)for my homepage and uploaded a 3000×300 logo image. (I want a bigger logo than 300×100)
I’ve also used 3000×300 for mobile logo too, but the display seems too small on the top right corner. Can I make the mobile logo bigger across the header? The website is http://www.konenok.com

Do I have to make changes to css? If so, which files do I need to edit? Or where can I add the code? (I’m using a child theme)

Thank you for your help

Can the white space around the header ad be made transparent? And if possible how can we accomplish this? Thank you! Like here: http://www.screencast.com/t/F67z9MmHVUrP

Thank you!
