Hi,
@dhvanesh
Please remove the css I gave you before and try this:
@media (min-width: 768px) {
.td-header-bg {
display: none !important;
}
}
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-header-bg {
display: block !important;
}
}
@seitenprofi
I’m not sure that I understand where you want the logo to appear. Can you please provide more details on what are trying to achieve or maybe a screenshot of something similar?
Thanks

Hi,
You can use the header Style 4 - menu + (logo + ad) http://screencast.com/t/76Vzeb1b8b
Then use the page-homepage-loop.php template, this way you will get the articles list below the page builder, but you can change this and put the articles list in before page builder.
Just follow this steps:
First remove this code: http://screencast.com/t/thEdnfOcj3hE
Then add this code http://pastebin.com/QUsFLxsW like this:http://screencast.com/t/d4AbrSBUm8g
After doing this add a new page and use this template like this: http://screencast.com/t/u9CMlU8b8
You will get this result: http://screencast.com/t/U6uHO4L3FI
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hello, I am getting errors when trying to save and edit posts, and the errors have to do with the Visual Composer plugin. My site is http://www.dauntlessjaunter.com, and I am still using the last version of Newspaper, not the latest 4.0.1.
The error reads when trying to save draft or schedule:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home4/domain/public_html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/core/class-vc-base.php on line 330
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home4/domain/public_html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/core/class-vc-base.php:330) in /home4/domain/public_html/wp-admin/post.php on line 235
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home4/domain/public_html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/core/class-vc-base.php:330) in /home4/domain/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1121
First, my Visual Composer settings were switched to work on posts as well as pages, and then I turned that off, but to no avail. This has never happened before, and I haven’t changed anything. Does anybody know what’s going on?
Hi,
I had a google search widget box in sidebar, may I change the color of header “Search” ?
I tried to change header color in “Edit Row” , at the widgetised sidebar, but it doesn’t have any effect.
http://www.screencast.com/t/gbzWHxnen
My website is http://www.enterpr1se.info/
Try to rename / delete the plugin folder from FTP and check if it work
(make a back up)
We are getting the following error….and cannot seem to log into the Dashboard to see what’s going on there…some FAQs suggest the problem is in Line 171 of a Twitter widget. Can you fix to tell us how? Thanks. Here’s the error message, which seems to be affecting several areas of our WyandotteDaily.com web site, hosted at GoDaddy.
“Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/p3nexnas06_data01/29/2066529/html/wp-content/plugins/twitter/widget_twitter_vjck.php:171) in /home/content/p3nexnas06_data01/29/2066529/html/wp-login.php on line 414”
Hi,
Just add this css in Theme Panel > Custom CSS:
.td-header-bg {
display: none !important;
}
This will hide the header on all pages.
Thanks
Hi,
You can use a plugin to do it.
* Simple Ads Manager https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-ads-manager/
* AdRotate https://wordpress.org/plugins/adrotate/
Thanks
Getting no attention in the 4.0 thread, and this is a fairly urgent issue, so posting here:
Since updating Newspaper theme to version 4.0.2 none of the custom CSS on my website seems to work, leaving the page looking nothing like it used to, and how I prefer it.
Can you please look into this and see if you can find a solution for me?
This is the custom CSS I’ve added to Theme Panel, that now has no effect:
blockquote p {
font-size: 22px !important;
line-height: 28px !important;
}
body {
font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif;
}
.td-post-text-content {
line-height: 22px;
.menu-item {
text-transform:uppercase;
}
.td-sbig-title, .td-big-grid-title a {
text-transform:uppercase;
}
.faktaboks {
width: 240px;
float: right;
background-color: #2d9dd8;
margin: 6px 0 6px 22px;
padding: 12px 12px 6px 12px;
text-align: left;
color: #ffffff;
}
.faktaboks h3 {
margin: 0 0 12px 0;
text-align: left;
color: #ffffff;
}
.faktaboks ul {
margin: 0 0 10.5px 14px;
}
.faktaboks p {
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
.td-page-title a, .td-page-title span {
font-size: 40px;
line-height: 44px !important;
}
h1 {
font-size: 40px;
line-height: 44px !important;
text-transform:uppercase;
}
.post header h1 {
font-size: 40px;
line-height: 44px !important;
}
.td-post-text-content h2 {
color:#2d9dd8;
font-size: 32px;
font-weight: normal;
margin-bottom: 12px !important;
}
.td-post-text-content h3 {
font-size: 22px;
line-height: 24px;
font-weight: bold;
margin: 12 px 0px 12px 0px;
}
.wp-caption-text {
text-align: center;
}
.td-featured-image-caption {
text-align: left !important;
}
.post .td-sub-title {
color: #3d3d3d;
font-weight: bold;
}
.header-search-wrap {
display:none;
}
Hello,
Is it possible for the theme to show a different ad-code depending on where it is displayed?
So for example, if the user is looking at category A, “Header Ad” will show a certain code, and if in category B another?
thanks
Hi,
Set from Theme Panel the “Style 6 – menu + (full width logo)” then add this css in Theme Panel > Custom CSS:
.td-full-logo {
background: transparent !important;
}
.td-full-layout .td-header-bg {
background-image: url('http://kipaustria.at/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/header-background.jpg');
}
Result: http://screencast.com/t/RR8HaI32Ywcl
Hope this works!
Thanks
Okay.. I got the perfect size. And it works just perfect.
Now. I want to get rid of header. How can I use just navigation only??
Hello
Is it possible to use ads or a static jpeg next to the header logo and to have these changing within each category?
For example I want to use a Main logo throughout the site and next to it on the right use a logo that will differ depending on the section/category you are in. If you were on a business news page it would show a company business logo on the right, if you were in the sports section it could show a different logo, sports related. I have companies that wish to sponsor categories of the website and so their logo or ad would link to a sponsor page.
I hope this makes sense.
Thank you
Jason
I have changed my site to (http://srilankaclick.com/) 1170px fixed layout But their are some blank white spaces between banner to header also in footer area could you please clear this issue.Its very urgent.
in theme option – theme color -> header color : we can choose color…
but can you make image for background in header?
i mean if we choose header style 6 – menu + (full width logo)
is very cute if can put image background in below logo
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion, you can do this by adding this css in Theme Panel > Custom CSS:
.td-template4-header header h1 {
background-color: rgba(77, 178, 236, 0.7)!important;
}
.single_template_3 header h1 {
background-color: rgba(77, 178, 236, 0.7)!important;
}
If you don’t like this color you can change it as you like.
Thanks!
Hi,
Is it possible to have site logo beside navigation in header?
Like this: http://www.screencast.com/t/iMHBEc5W
Hi,
The header dose not sit under the header, the background image on your site is stretched to fill the whole site but in fact the image
it’s small, it’s only 1300px x 1012px and will not fill the whole background, you can check this yourself, remove the stretch like here: http://screencast.com/t/C786Flxs5 and check your site, should look like this after you disable the stretch: http://screencast.com/t/j3iW2nxmN
Like I said before you have to set a fixed background not stretch and you have to make the black window to fit your site’s layout, also keep in mind that this solution will not be responsive because the background has a fixed size. To be responsive it’s more difficult.
Thanks for your message!
Hi,
ON my website the logo doesn’t show on mobile (v 4.0.1). I’m using header style 3 and I did upload the logo for both desktop and mobile menu on theme panel. Please have a look http://getandroidstuff.com/
Thanks for the reply. Ive had a play with it but i still dont seem to be able to do it so that the site shifts down to accomodate the header image. The header (in the blood) just sits underneath the header of the site itself.
D
Okay thanks,
th score for desktop is 90 which is okay but on mobile it’s 69 and I thin that’s horrible.
I use cloudflare and tagDiv speed booster plugin but it dooesn’t seem to be working.
I’ve one more issue, on my site there is space between header and it’s underline but not on the demo…
see these two images
my site : http://ss.techizm.com/2014/07/Capture.png
your demo : http://ss.techizm.com/2014/07/Capture1.png
Thank you! Waiting for a positive result
hi,
the error comes from the bbPress plugin itself and we are investigating this issue. Until then you can try to run with WP_DEBUG FALSE.
Sorry for this problem,
Radu O>
