Hi there. I had vers 8.8 installed on a domain that I use to build my client’s websites, before i transfer them. I updated the new vers 9.6. To my absolute dismay there were errors all over.

This is literally a broken site, with no structure. It looked amazing before and was almost ready for launch with a few outtakes to occur.
It is now a mess. I am very disappointed.

Hi,
I wish you would give me more information. I went to my home page and clicked on row and set it to stretch to 1200. It does nothing. I can stretch the header and footers fine, but not the content. Also, this really does help explain how I can stretch my internal pages. I can’t go to each and every page and do this. Can you please explain? I see lots of sites with a wider content area, I’d just like to know how to do it too.

These are my questions:
1. I’m using a footer page which looks fine everywhere except on my individual posts where under the footer, the jetpack likes are repeated. I was wondering how to remove the likes from beneath the footer without removing them from the post itself. They do show up in the post footer as they should. (I have deactivated all plugins to see if that was the problem, and it doesn’t appear so.)

2. At the top of my posts, I would like a space between the header and the featured pic. I am not sure how to make that happen and wondered if you had suggestions.

You could design the header as needed with the header builder, there are some headers designed by us which you can modify – http://prntscr.com/mzg27b or you can design your own by using a blank template – http://prntscr.com/mzg3qq
So you can build it with the tagDiv composer and place the elements as you wish.

Unfortunately using header style 3 you can not achieve a bigger logo, for this you’ll need to use an header stile with full logo or import/edit one from tagDiv Cloud Library

So I’m trying to create a custom header layout using code (API, child theme etc) but came across the Header Manager.
Please is there a way to design a header on a page (with the Header Manager) and make it appear globally on all pages?

The theme doesn’t have such a setting, the ad will be displayed permanently. Usually, this could be done with CSS but in the case of Adsense ads, Google will not allow them to be hidden with CSS.
You could create a condition in the header template 6 file you are using. Something like in this topic

The condition would be – if this is not a post IDs -> show the ad

So the ad will not be loaded for those posts.

So if I understated correctly you want to integrate that player in your website in top bar, this can be possible if you are using the Newspaper them v9.5 or v9.6, you need to use the header builder and set with tagDiv Composer the shotcode/code for that player in top bar.

I have made some tests on my site and this functionality works as expected. I have added a here in the header on desktop mode and then, I have added a hero on mobile mode, make some changes to differentiate them and then I have pressed SAVE. Could be the transition that is applied when backgrounds are set. It lasts about 1 sec, and it is supposed to make the background appear more smoothly. Try entering this code in the theme panel – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/background-color-on-row-loads-last/
If that is not it, I could try and recreate this on my end. I will need the details about the header style used or how it is set up/built.
