Hi
Installed the Newspaper theme in my wordpress. Then installed the tech news demo. After activating I went to the theme panel and changed the header style. Did Save Settings.
Opened a new browser window and browsed to the site. I am not seeing the changes made to the header style when I browse to the site.
What could I be doing wrong ? I cleared the local browser cache also.
maybe you have an idea and experience about how to fix this issue

I thought I liked this theme but there seems to be two very simple things, that cannot be done with your theme. Please prove me wrong.
#1. I want to be able to have each post teaser on the left hand side and i want my side bar on the right hand side. Simple enough right? But I DO NOT WANT ANY WHITE SPACE AT THE TOP. See for example http://makingmoneyshow.com/homepage-dean/
(every page I have ever created there is this issue with either the left side or ride side of the them not going to the very top. there is always empty space either on the left side, or the right side, or both.
Another example of wasted white space above the side bar on the side bar side, http://makingmoneyshow.com
#2. So when I name a page, for example this same url example page is I’ve named it “Home Page” within admin. (http://makingmoneyshow.com/homepage-dean/)
You see it is showing “Home Page” if you look at the top of that page. Why would I want someone to see the name of the page on my website? lol and to make matters worse it creates a the white space below my header menu that pushes all the teaser posts down creating wasted white space.
**Please just tell me how to take care of these issues please!!! Last time I created a ticket, the response to the ticket did not help me at all. Please respond with instructions of how to do this, please show from screenshots you provide from the backend. If you can’t solve this I will have to ask for a refund, thanks.

I have the Video theme of Newspaper, and I’m using categories to sort my videos. I have 2 questions:
1. I want to show a featured image for each category on the top. Right now I can add a background image but that’s not a solution. I’m using Style 8 for the header and I want the image to be only inside the default gray box.
2. How can I have a page displaying my categories with a thumbnail and title, just like regular posts inside a category page.

Question 1.
We are using header STYLE 1 – with the 728×90 to the right of the logo. We would also love to add a banner spot below the navigation before the content begins, but when we add via the editor, it seems to mess with the design – any tips on which files we should edit? Thanks!

We purchased a background ad rotator and we can select what categories etc that the banner shows on. One issue, where the featured articles are, the white background is 100%, unlike the other pages. Is there a way to keep it within the contest area? I have attached a screenshot:

Unfortunately the theme has no options to have different headers based on page id’s. If you want to implement this functionality in the theme you will have to modify the theme files. Here are some topics related to this – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/conditional-logic-for-menu/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-headers-on-pages/ but you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry.
There could be some plugins out there with these capabilities, but I can not make any recommendations, you will have to search and test some of them.

I am setting up the theme and had a couple queries.
1. I am using header style 6 which gives the option to have a menu background. I have set the color of the menu background but there is an issue when the page loads as it should the default black before showing the correct color.

2. How do I get the category tags to show their assigned colors on Modules/Blocks, instead of the default black? I have set the colors in the admin and have read the article, but seems this is not mentioned. Please see this link for an illustration https://goo.gl/lzFHSd

In Google Search console la fel, am o eroare care zice asta:

Is it a way to display different header on specific page or article ?
Example : On page id 3 and all articles wich have the tag “classic”, I want to display a different header for that (new logo with a link on mysite.com/classic + a new menu).
If you know a way using a plugin compatible with your theme, or a code to do that, it will be very usefull.
I tried to inspect your code, but I don’t understand how the header.php of Newspaper theme works.

1) We did not add any extra controls to remove the login on the responsive version because usually people who require a login require it both on mobile and desktop. Th login can be removed for both from the header section: https://www.screencast.com/t/Hlj9LTNui
If you want to remove the login for mobile devices only you can add this code in the theme panel-> custom css box.

Amigo, ¿y si lo agrega directo en header.php , antes de </head> por medio del editor? A mi también por alguna razón me generó un percance al agregar el código de Analytics en el Panel del tema (en mi caso, analytics no lo reconocía) y la única forma fue agregándolo allí.

If you want to change the header, menu and background for different parts of your site,then it;s easier to use am multi-site and install the theme and WordPress on both or all of them then create redirects back and forth from them. If you do not want ot use a multi-site, then you will have to hire a developer to help out as the customization will be much more extensive than what we can provide via the theme support.
