Hi,
The screenshots that I provide for you are from Newspaper v9.7.3, indeed in previouse version the amp is little different but it still should show in homepage if this is activate on pages.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all plugins and child theme ( if you are using ) and let only the tagDiv Composer , clear all cache, deactivate the cache plugin and try again.
Thank you!
Hello team!
I don’t like a lazy load that’s why I disabled that option, but now I can see my homepage image is not showing correctly.
See:- http://prntscr.com/o4ngbn
URL: https://www.planandadventure.com
Thank you!
I created a header from the Cloud Templates and added an ad code (320×50) below the main header that was set to display for mobile only.
https://www.altpress.com/tdb_templates/header-template-6/
It’s not displaying on mobile at all, but I see that the code is in there.

On the homepage, it’s not displaying at all and pushing the content up causing the header to overlap it.

Hi there, in former versions there was a folder called “mobile”, which hold all the files of the mobile plugin. I just want to alter the code you’ve written to exclude some categories on mobile homepage.
The front-page.php file located in the mobile folder doesn’t exist anymore. Where’s the code now?
Thanks in advance
Peter
Hello,
I have two issues on my home page that I can’t resolve.
At Marketwisetrader.com in the upper right corner (see screenshot) there’s an inline text box and below it a Block 8 with post thumbnails.
I’ve inserted iframe code, both with and without the html, but the stock quotes don’t display. I’ve also tried inserting the code in an Ad block but no luck with the display. Suggestions?
In the collumn below, the block 8 shows post titles and a thumbnail photo for each. How can I change the post titles to 15px high? I’ve tried in the theme panel and set ‘height to 15px/line height 17px’, in Module 8 (don’t find block 8 anywhere) but this doesn’t change it. I’ve tried to change with CSS but it seems something is overriding my CSS.
Suggestions?
Thanks,
Lon

I have a homepage or frontpage and my developer says it won’t display on the frontpage only individual posts. I need this to display on all post on my site frontpage and individual sections and individual posts etc. My site is http://www.ubuntutimes.com. Check it out and let me know how I can resolve this Newspaper theme issue ASAP.
Hi again – I found the solution and will post it for others.
The modules are now in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/modules
From there, this instruction can be applied:

Hi,
Uninstalling the demo, or installing a new demo should remove the previous demo completely. The website should be as it was before installing the demo
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
So the homepage should be removed as well. Maybe it’s a caching issue, try to clear the cache, also force refresh the page in the browser (Ctrl+Shift+R). Let us know.
Thanks
I’ve noticed that the sidebar appears if I switch the Homepage from static to ‘show the latest articles’ but directly with TD Composer, not in wordpress.
Same problem here. I’m also trying to figure out how to add a sidebar to my homepage. Category pages and post pages are fine. I think it has something to do with the tagdiv composer, which one used on a page, prevents us from using the sidebar on that particular page.
Please help.
Hello! My website is https://savoriurbane.com/ After the last theme update (I did it today) some of the widgets on the sidebar disappeared so I had to put them back one by one. OK. Everything seemed fine until I edited the Homepage with TD Composer and modified only the content of some blocks (I changed the recipes according to season). When I hit save the sidebar disappeared from my Homepage but it exists on all other pages or posts (articles). See here https://www.screencast.com/t/6ZTPIGWK the empty column. How do I put the Default Sidebar here? Here are the other examples: https://www.screencast.com/t/AyMMwPb56 and https://www.screencast.com/t/vkTcSoTYNiV
In the Newspaper Theme settings all the pages, posts and the homepage have the same setting: with the sidebar on the right. See here https://www.screencast.com/t/RaVH15aC7dz9
Please give me a solution because I have to put back my ad-boxes on Homepage’s sidebar!
Hello,
We are having trouble editing our home page: https://saraacarter.com/
Our need is edit the homepage to remove the bottom section here:
http://cld.publisherdesk.com/368e67856bd0
And replace this with a unit that does not include pagination. I cant seem to delete that section from the TD Composer tool.
Please let me know how we can accomplish this and thank you for your help.
Jeff
Hi Simion,
Thanks again for your assistance. Finally, I found it:)
One last question, how do I remove the author box in the mid homepage – https://prnt.sc/o3dtwp
Thanks!
I am using the classic editor with newspaper theme version 9.7.2. I have the tagdiv mobile theme active and I have the AMP plugin active and “AMP” is the selected option in the theme panel settings for the mobile theme. I do not see the toggle switch option in the classic editor to disable AMP from the homepage. Why is this? I have cleared my caches so that is not the issue.
Hi,
It seems to be a temporary problem with our servers. Try again because should work now!
The easiest way to achieve to sidebars will be to import some homepages from tagDiv Cloud Library -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Kl28blB9O
Thank you!
Hi – my pages, other than the homepage, are not showing at all on a mobile device. About, Privacy, Advertising, etc. All pages except the homepage. I tested both activating and deactivating the Mobile theme but either way, no pages are showing on mobile. I can send a private link and login details for the site. Thanks.
Hi,
I have done this but the comment count is not shown on the block? see timworstall.continentaltelegraph.com. Its shown on the single page, but not next to the block / item title on the homepage?
How to design page for category archive? i want the category can design like homepage?
Hi,
So if I understand correctly you want to build a page template, unfortunately for the moment there is no option for this; what you ca do is to duplicate the page and change the page content.
Also you can create your own elements and save them as shortcode/element -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CKKKojKwYl
You can use homepage from tagDiv Cloud Library -> https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/
Thank you!
jpugatch,
I had a similar issue where I needed to post external links in a widget on the homepage. After discovering that the TagDiv Composer had no widgets for the native WordPress Links feature (AKA Blogroll), I found a workaround by using the “Page Links To” plugin. It simply turns regular posts into a hyperlink. So, I just tagged all of my link/posts as “Links” and created a post widget on the homepage to filter only by posts with the “Links” tag. Hope this works for you, too!
Cheers!
Hi, I have an issue with my homepage, it shows almost just text. A few days ago it was perfect, but now is a mess.
Hope you could help me soon.

Hi,
So the issue is just with the homepage. If it’s the demo homepage it should work properly.
Which demo did you install?
Be sure to check the theme requirements guide carefully
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
If needed you could contact the hosting provide and ask them to configure the server and wordpress parameters as mentioned there.
In case the problem remains and you want us to investigate, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the website and admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email. Let us know.
Thanks
Hi,
You could give this code a try, with header style 11 instead – http://prntscr.com/o3ebz7 However this may cause problems in category pages and post pages, by overlapping the breadcrumbs for example. You could use it only in pages, or in the homepage
– https://pastebin.com/BKWJE6Xe
As it is now it will apply only in the homepage.
The theme has a page template that overlays the whole header over the content, like this
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_nature/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_spa/
Maybe you could use the overlay page template – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Thanks
Hi there,
I contacted you before about this problem, I just can’t solve it and every time I postpone. Here’s the thing, from the point of AllinAllSpace in the mid homepage I cannot control any of the elements from the composer neither from the WordPress theme panel. I want to remove this section and add/change the second part of the homepage. Please help me with this problem, it’s a lot of space at the homepage and I need to use this space in a different way.
Another thing is that I can add a widget to the second section of the homepage because it is not customizable.
Thanks for your help,
Hi,
From that section, you can change the source link to your logo. So, if you want to redirect the logo link from the homepage (which is set up by default) you will need to use a plugin for Redirect, like 301 Redirect, as an example.
Thank you for your understanding!
