From what I see on the homepage, there is a header ad that displays properly

And an ad below the homepage

By default in the theme there is no option to place the ad like that, below the footer of the page. That may be inserted there by a plugin or theme modifications.
Regardless of that I don’t see any other ads on the homepage.
On the post page there is an article top ad

Besides the article ad, three is the same header ad, and now there are 2 ads in the footer

I cannot say how these footer ads are inserted there, but I believe they are not coming from the default theme panel ad sections. Maybe you have an ad management plugin that you are using to insert them, and can further configure the ads placement.

Today I updated from 7.8 to Newspaper 8.0 and ran into a lot of problems which costs me a lot of time.
The problems are related to td composer and visual composer.
Followed the guide and instructions but it’s not working properly and is not userfriendly.
After the update there was showing a widget with title contents in my sidebar, strangly though it was not showing as a widget in the customizer.
– Big Grid gets glued to a block when changing row layout.
– When I add a block and want to remove it later I get this error:
Errors happened during tdcIFrameData.TdcLiveView -> customRender!.
– When switching to Visual composer and adding a block to the homepage the block-title is not showing.
Glad I made a backup. I’m switching back to version 7.8.
Such a shame. Never had problems before with template updates.
Homepage-one-top-post is not what i am looking for. Can i call any module or block in template? If not then can i add new module or modified any existing module in child theme?Does the theme support bootstrap?

As I am recreating my homepage with TDComposer, the option for an inline ad is not coming up in the “Use the Adspot from” dropdown box in the Ad Box.

I’m assuming you put the widgetized sidebar into your layout.
Then you put your custom ‘homepage’ sidebar into the block on your layout.
Then you added the plugin to the ‘homepage’ sidebar, and tested? And also tested it works on “any” sidebar like the default one, not just the custom one for homepage?
There are many simple ‘plugins’ which have widgets that you can drag to the sidebar and configure from appearance > widgets > sidebar — and then that sidebar would go into a widgetized sidebar ‘block’ on homepage.
That’s how I insert weather widget on my home page, for example.

As for the activation, please try to use the manual activation found at the very bottom of the activation screen. Press the manual activation button and follow the onscreen instructions.

Hello, getting ready to switch to Newspaper and finishing up a few things. I need some help with the following:
1. On my homepage (SneakerFiles.com/test/) there is 2 ad spots. 1 under the first two article then another 4 down. I was wondering how I could set this up on the category and tag pages?
2. Where is says “Load More” at the bottom of the page, I want to have it a block style just like I have it here:

Also can I change the text from “Load More” to “See More” or anything else?
3. I am using Big Block 3 for the main 3 articles but when I view on mobile, it’s stacked. Is there a way to make it align like I have it on desktop or even switch the style of it on mobile?
4. How can I remove the “Read More” button on category and tag pages?

Do you have added the Widgets on your page in the backend (2/3 ->content) with Widgetised Sidebar in 1/3 layout and the sidebar does not appears on your frontend? You should provide some useful screenshots with your homepage structure so I can see the sidebar and also, your front end to see the results. After all of your changes, please clear all of your caches, purge all CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.

I tried to install a few of the demos. They work partially, but my homepage looks nothing like the demo.
Not sure if it matters, but I noticed on the breadcrumbs, my homepage is Home > Blog and on the demo, there’s no breadcrumbs on home.

Hi there I just finished installing the basic demo with the full width post homepage option. It looks like my sidebar is being pushed below the content a bit and my initial blog post image is appearing underneath the header. Any ideas whats happening here?

Like the demo box ‘digital art’ on the demo homepage. There is a dark background with a background image. But I not find the css to customize it.

Hope we can get some help on this one, we’ve been putting together a new website with this theme and in trying to compose the homepage, we continue to receive this error regarding installing the TagDiv Composer plugin.
The plugin does not have a valid header.

I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which might interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of them and leave just to active only the required plugins and then, try to create your homepage according to the following useful video tutorial here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2wGizMz4X0&t=82s
Now, I saw on your homepage some shortcodes which do not come from our theme, sorry! Please roll back to the default theme functionality, clear all the caches and check the results.

Unfortunately, notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to set the background only for the homepage, but please notice that you can use the following trick in this case. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
The code is ->

}
.home .td-stretch-width{
display:block!important;
}
NOTE: When the background image was been setup, the theme layout will become boxed.
