But for example, in homepage i use the following ads structure:
HOME PAGE
Header: Smart Banner
Sidebar Top: 300×250
Sidebar Bottom: 300×250
PAGE POSTS:
Top Content: 336×280
Bottom Content: 336×280
Sidebar: 300×250
I don’t want to use the header banner in the post pages, how can i do to hide it if is not a widget that can be handled by plugins like Display Widgets that allows you to manage visibility of the widgets to hide or show in certain pages.

I am using a custom page for my homepage and I have turned off the title of the page so it doesn’t show on my homepage. Without a title on that page though, the page title bar just says “| Savored Journeys”. I would like the title tag to appear as it would if I hadn’t created a custom homepage using the page builder. I want it to say “Savored Journeys | Affordable luxury travel, food and wine adventures”. With other themes, I set that description in the SEO Title & Meta tab, but since I’m using a Page for home in the Newspaper theme, I can’t set it there. Any thoughts on how I can get that set up right?

I’ve just worked out how to edit the block sections via the homepage.
My new problem is I can’t work out how to select content for each of the the different blocks. All it says is ‘td_filter_defualt_txt’. Where do I select the posts?
Also, there are two sets of Facebook and Twitter share icons at the bottom of my posts. How do I delete the second set? Here’s an example http://versifiedlife.com/td_d_slug_34.

Hi,
I suspect you’re using one of the modules which bring the whole post content (Module 1 and 7) and that’s why the video appears on your page. You could fix this by changing the Module used on your section (blog or latest articles). If you don’t know how to change it please provide more details about the homepage or post the url so i can take a look.

If you want to use a static homepage please create it using Visual Composer plugin and set it to frontpage: http://screencast.com/t/3vO9aluSPm7v
Normally the styling options you’ve set in the WordPress Theme Customize or in the Theme Panel – those options will not be effected by updating your theme, only custom modifications to the theme’s files will be overwritten.
Please follow this guide if you want to update your theme and use FTP method: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/ also update plugins that come with the theme’s files from the /plugins folder.

I know I’m doing a lot of these “suggestion posts” around the forum, but I can’t help it! When I see something really beautiful around the internet, it makes me want to share it with you, so that you guys can polish and better the already fabulous Newspaper 4. Anyways, this is just another suggestion that came to my mind, though I thinik that you have already noticed it.
Thye default IOS slider that comes with newsmag, as you may already know, is a bit minimalistic. I have been seeing some really fabulous sliders pre-packaged with other themes around the net, and here are a few suggestions for how the IOS slider could look in Newspaper 5:

I’ve read before asking that Blocks (Don’t Miss, Techs and Gadgets, Fashion, etc) can be changed via Customization on Homepage, but when I go to Appearance > Customize > and try to edit the blocks, I only see this: http://screencast.com/t/91kziYcGTGje and the Widgets tab only shows this: http://screencast.com/t/bFxURPsNU
I am really confused and think I may be missing something here. Is the Homepage supposed to be a “Static Front Page”?
I have made a lot of changes to the theme (Translations, FB comments, and few other customizations that did not come easy to someone like me…without a techy background), so I am really afraid of losing all the work if I re-install the theme.

I’ve addded block 5 to my homepage and given it 3/4 width.The block is meant to show 4 posts in a square, but somehow, no matter how wide I make it, it keeps showing the posts underneath eachother. What am I doing wrong here?

I’ve tried to look into the code and if I add two close div tags before the get_footer() function in the page-homepage-loop.php file, it fixes but I don’t think that this is the best workaround to solve this problem.

One more thing.. Is this also possible with the homepage? I’m using the big featured post from template 6 I believe and I have set it to “unique articles” on the page settings but the sidebar shows the featured homepage image. Is there a way to hide that as well?

on my demo website http://www.edurozrywka.pl i have an issune with the widgets borders.
I use standard newsmag sidebar. On the homepage and blog http://www.edurozrywka.pl/blog all borders are correct. But on the other pages they are not visible.
In addition smart scroll is working correctly only on home page and blog. On other pages it doesn’t work (it’s not srolling toghether with the content).
How to fix that ?
