I was able to figure out how to do what I wanted, but an issue I’m having is I want my “articles” page to display ALL articles. It only shows a few and that’s it. I’d like for it to show them all and give the option to go to page 2, 3, 4, etc when those times come.

I’m looking to add a video section to Homepage 3 Column, but not in the sidebar, I want it inside of the page, such as the slider in Homepage 2, but just want it a video player instead of a slider.
I believe it would go the big slider, followed by the three post below of the big slider, then I would want the video section below of that, followed by the rest of the articles to be displayed.
I hope this makes sense. I have tried to alter both the Homepage 3 column as well as Homepage 2 and have been unsuccessful. Perhaps a coding issue needs to take place?

I have updated to version 4.1 and regenerated the thumbnails – thanks for the quick fixes. many of the issues have been resolved but still have these:
1. Speed booster still removes your BG images option + third party form builders and widgets break.
2. Sticky navigation still doesn’t work (same as on your demo)
3. On the home page the Big Slide option still stacks all the images. I have tried saving different options but nothing works. Your demo homepage 4 does work? At the moment I have added the Slide option above but you can still see the Broken Big Slide below it: http://coconutoilpost.com/
I think it might be a conflict with your templates and how you have one set into the BG Image. I tried all the template options but still didn’t fix the issue.
Also tried deactivating all but your own recommended plugins.
Can you please advise?
The big slide now works in Chrome too, even though I didn’t change anything. So the problem has been resolved.
I had the same problem. The big slide doest work with fixed resolutions at this moment. I changed it for the normal slide, three colums in the meantime.
Since updating to Newspaper 4.0, the slider at the top of my site does not display the featured stories:
Only two come up in the slider, with none along the side. I am using the homepage slide settings. The site looks fine in Safari but not in Chrome.
Can you advise what the issue might be?

Hi,
You use a template with latest article and that template is with latest posts with pagination.
You need to do that infinite scroll on a block(infinite load are available on blocks in Page builder). Edit you homepage, select as template Homepage - bg - no article list and with page builder you need to create something like this: http://screencast.com/t/itod8bCfVVN

Also I see that you don’t have activated the Visual composer on your site. You need to activate it if you want to work the Visual composer(Page builder)

Same isues as listed with the latest update. Ran a clean update over the previous version.

I’ve read up on a whole lot of the infinite scroll archives but can’t figure it out.
I have the visual composer activated. I want to have the infinite scroll on only my homepage. Homepage + BG + Latest Articles template is enabled. The other options are as shown here http://screencast.com/t/wHJdcfbi if needed.
Where do I go about activating this?
*Also, once activated, does it track each load as a page view?

How do I adjust the opacity on the backgrounds of the titles on the big and small slides on the home page. I’m using white and need it to be whiter so the text shows more clearly. I have tried to find the css but can not. What custom css can I use to change it?

Hi,
Unfortunately it is not possible to ad pagination to an empty page. If you want you can
create a new template based on the “Homepage – with article list” template and structure it the way you want.

I created some pages using the “Homepage-Blank” template. Like a lot of others I am missing the pagination at the bottom of the page. (please include this in a next update)
Your solution to this is to use a “Homepage – with article list” template instead. Unfortunately, when I do this, the complete layout of my pages is then screwed up and I don’t have complete control over how they look. So I don’t want this.
Is there ANY way that can put the simple pagination on custom created pages using the “Homepage-Blank” template?
P.s. I am using Block 6 on my pages. So is it possible to have pagination at the end of this block?

We are online. Like I said.. everything works great except the facebook on the homepage only. The facebook works great on internal pages.

@digitial2 The Facebook sharing doesn’t work locally, you have to be online to work. The issue is on post too not only on homepage, i have checked myself, locally it doesn’t work but online it works fine.

I’m sorry, I have another issue.
I want my latest post to appear on the homepage and that’s working but if I want to see the images related to them, I have to activate the featured image.
That’s fine but then it appears twice in my posts.
How could I do so that it only appears once ?

GOOD — The Twitter “Tweet this” works great.
BAD — The Facebook “Share this” does not work. The URL is cut off for the homepage. It only shows this… http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=/ BUT… The Facebook “Share this” works fine on internal pages.
