Hi there,
My mobile menu is transparent and I cannot get it to show correctly + once I click the menu button in the top left, I cannot unselect it, I must select an item. See here:
https://ibb.co/Rj14YJp
In addition, my Logo scales for my header as I check the various sizes but once I get to Minimum (phone) it no longer shows anything. I have chrome open and then slowly drag the window to get smaller, this scales the Logo as I have it set under Cloud Templates > Header > select logo > Image width. I used the 4 icons at the top (desktop, ipad, ipad landscape and Mobile) to set the scale sizes but at mobile it is just blank.
See here:

Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, for Single Post Bg Featured Image you can’t show the caption.
Please use “Single Post Featured Image”.
The differences between BG featured image and single post featured image:
– the description (caption) will not appear in BG
– the image size you can set only in BG, so in a single post featured image will take the image in original sizes
– more options for styling in a single post featured image than BG
Thank you!
SO I’ve narrowed it down to an issue with the theme all block sizes are activated when I create new post images is there but on the post-it loads blank
I couldn’t find that setting anywhere. What I did is, selected full image in the tagDiv Composer for every block. Like you can see in this screenshot. (https://imgur.com/I80glT1)
After that, I regenerated thumbnails through the plugin. But it didn’t work. Let me also show you what actually I am looking for.
As you can see all the images in every block are cropped. Only one block which is in green color is not cropped and this is what I want in every block. See the screenshot (https://imgur.com/1OeEYOx)
Please guide me on how can it be done? All the thumbs sizes are active in the theme panel.
Hello,
Where you upload the image in Media, there is a setting with the size of the image and please select full size.
Also, please make sure that you have enabled the proper thumbs with these sizes in order to show the featured images properly, check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/N18dR3qZrh
After activating the thumbnail sizes you need to regenerate your thumbnails using a plugin. Check this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hi, I just updated a post and saw that the feature image that is shown in every block is cropped automatically according to the thumb size. Because of the cropping, it is not looking good in the block. I don’t want to crop them. I want to show a full image in every block. I have no problem if the image is shown in small sizes but I don’t want them to crop.

Hello Karen,
I made a test and for me, the image doesn’t appear blurry => https://www.screencast.com/t/rngLIH7bsz
The sizes for block 13 are 324 X 235 and 696 X 385 for thumbs => https://www.screencast.com/t/iZWrtiCadY
Also, please send some screenshots or the link to your website to inspect it.
Thank you!
Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I had run into the same problem. I just figured out that I can simply disable lazy load for all images of a specific size instead of for classes like the mobile version problem.
I changed the image sizes that the mobile version plugin uses by editing the mobile theme files such as single.php. There was an issue with the mobile theme using big images by default that slows down a website. The only problem is that I had to add code into the mobile functions.php, and I have to keep the scripts backed up because it’ll all disappear after the plugin updates. Really wish TagDiv would give us a child theme for the mobile plugin.
So, I simply added this into WP Rocket lazy load exclusion settings and now lazy load is disabled for all images of this size:
-533×261.jpg
-533×261.webp
It isn’t the best method, but it’ll have to do.
Hello!
The recommended size is 800×600 or 1920x1080px ( Full HD ) This are the basic image sizes that can go well everywhere.
Thank you!
Hello!
I can see that your images are in full sizes as in our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/
Also, it depends how big your screen is.
Thank you!
Hello Fabrizio!

Hello!
You can use the element “Subcategories” instead of Category siblings. There is no option in Category siblings to display only the subcategories.
Set the featured image for the posts in order to display the images: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
Please make sure that you have enabled the proper thumbs with these sizes in order to show the featured images properly, check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/N18dR3qZrh

Thanks for your reply Anamaria.
Sure, I can explain. A container is the width of the content holder. It sometimes refers to sidebar width for example. In this case, Newspaper theme has an image size and a container size. The container is smaller than the image, causing a red flag for site speed tests. Please can you tell me where I can find the container sizes for the images in the blog posts? Thumbnail container sizes are also helpful. Then I can resize my images to suit.
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m sorry, but I don’t understand exactly what you mean by ” my images are too large for the container sizes”, Can you provide more details? if you referring to thumbs, you can find them in Theme Panel -> Block settings -> Thumbs on Modules/Blocks => https://i.imgur.com/D3k9JjI.png
Also, the Smush plugin is not tested with our theme.
Thank you!
I am using the Smush plugin which is telling me my images are too large for the container sizes. Where can I find these, please? Thanks
Ok, thanks for the response. That’s very unfortunate as we were about to launch a large site that heavily uses these elements throughout and discovered this while doing some optimization tests. We are going to have to go through the entire site redo all the images. I’d consider this a pretty significant issue/bug with the tagdiv composer. At least make users aware of this somehow.
This would be a much needed improvement. Either recognize and use the size image select from the wordpress image selector (thumbnail, medium, large, full, etc), or allow to select from one of tagdiv theme image sizes enabled.
Please put this on the priority improvement list. Once the site is handed over to the users they aren’t expected to have to precrop resize and compress every image before uploading and it’s going to be impossible to keep the site optimized.
Thank you. Great theme, but there have been some significant and expensive battles with it along the way.
Hello, my website is brassbanned.com
I have two problems:
1) There is something wrong with my header image that takes ages to load. I have tried to insert alternate header images, which appear successfully if I am using TagDiv composer. If I close it, they disappear. I also see a 404 in my network panel as the theme tries to load in /bghd.jpg (which doesn’t exist on the server). I am not sure where this is set or how to tell the theme to not use it.
2) My menu is not clickable on mobile devices. I have used the same menu item in TagDiv composer, which appears at larger sizes. I still see the hamburger menu icon on mobile devices, but no menu items appear when I click on it.
I’m happy to share login details / do a quick screenshare for someone to talk me through settings.
Many thanks!
Hello!
There is a difference between a single post featured image and single post bg featured image. Single Post Featured Image will take the image in original sizes, so please make sure you use this element.
Thank you!
