in this case, you will have to reinstall the theme if you edited theme files or simply remove the css in the theme panel – custom css box. We cannot provide a solution do adjust the position of the menus as we could do more damage than good if your customization get scrapped at some point. You will need to revert to the default state of the theme and be more careful when creating your css code.

Before trying the manual method, you can try a few things to get the demo install to work:
First thing you need to check is if you meet the newspaper system requirements:

Then you need to increase your system status parameters: http://screencast.com/t/tMBmoCHFw0 These entries are set in php.ini file and should look like this:
max_input_vars = 5000
max_execution_time = 300
These 2 will be required not only for the demos, they are requirements for the themeâs functionality.
Then, if the demo still won’t load, you need to check if you have the correct permissions on your upload folder. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the cpanel, please contact your hosting provider. Another thing you can check with your host is to unlock the demo if there is some setting which blocks access to it.
If all of these will not do it, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.

Hi there, is there a way for me to remove the WP related posts and just keep the newspaper theme ones? 
I want it be the author box, followed by the Newspaper theme related posts and then an installed comments section. I’ve looked all through the WP dashboard and I can only find an option to include a heading or not or show images on their own related posts feature. Not actually disable them.

I’ve installed 2 versions of newsmag. In one i use your optimizations, on the second i don’t. Post view counter in both desktop versions of template, on both domains are working, but in the site which i use your optimizations on the mobile version post view counter doesn’t work. Can you please tell me what line of code must remove to work?

I was able to get a great freelancer to develop (adjust) this plugin for me.

It works when you add page breaks on the post page; it scrolls to the pagination of the same post not the next post. I assume you can change that with the parameters inside.
#1. Install this https://wordpress.org/plugins/yith-infinite-scrolling/
#2 Put this in the setting.
Navigation Selector: .page-nav-post
Next Selector: .page-nav-post a:nth-child(2)
Item Selector: article.post .td-post-content
Content Selector: .td-ss-main-content
Then go make a post and add page breaks.

I have *not* had time to mess with the FB plugin as I’ve been embroiled mentally in working with something for our main business site using a custom theme setup, and integrating the YOURLS plugin with our system, the XT breadcrumbs plugin (which works better for us since the install is inside of a directory), and helping to debug some issues with the new AMP plugin from Automattic (one of my bug reports will likely be in the next update, which is the bug of not working when the wp-content directory is renamed). SO, been having to deal with all of *that* and this particular project doesn’t use any comments at all and never will, so….
I will circle back around to that eventually, but the AMP support has been far more important than comments right now on our main news sites, since Google rolled that out on Feb. 24. (See my other ‘thread of doom’ on that!)
Thanks Bogdan for your reply. The problem persists also for another new or old pages (where the blocks added aren’t shown while text already present is collected in a text block – and this is visible).
Tonight I’ll try to deactivate ALL plugins putting site in maintenance mode. Let’s see what will happend. Should I remove also your theme folder and reinstall it? Meanwhile I’ll send you an admin account.

I have some experience with web and html but don’t assume I’m an expert.
So I built my site several months back and installed a plugin to essentially allow me to customize the avatar/profile pictures of users from within wordpress rather than using Gravatar.
It originally worked but for some reason just stopped days later. I hadn’t installed any new plugins and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin with no success.

After installing Newspaper 6, I’ve tried to create new front page for my website. However, in visual composer I cannot find many elements visible in docs, i.e. there is no slider, blocks, etc. Only usual wordpress stuff (text block, flickr, raw html, etc.). So how to add a slider or some of tagDivs blocks?

We bought Newspaper theme a week ago. I worked on a test site just to learn how it works (done without any problems). Yesterday I’ve installed it on the official web site, making changes first using Theme Test Drive Plugin, and also putting site in maintenance mode and working directly on it. All is working fine, apart the home page that I’ve built.. (www.teleradiopace.tv/home)
In the Visual Editor I move blocks, grids and so on, but loading it (in preview or directly), the page is always empty..

The latest version of WordPress is 4.4.2 and works as excepted with our theme. Please make sure that you have followed all the correct steps in order to install it. Also, please try to install the WordPress again according to this documentation here -> https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress If you are not aware the steps to instal correctly the WordPress, please open a ticket to WP support or consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do the for you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, but only we can guide you to the right direction.

I have installed the latest version of wordpress in the server, uploaded the folder Newspaper to wp-content/themes/ folder and activated the theme, got the Visual Composer plugin installed successfully, but I receive the following warning message:
Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this serverâs configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to WordPress.org. Please contact your server administrator.)
The above message is received as the first line on navigating to any page (themes, plugins etc.) pointing to different lines in the wp-includes\update.php
The site under development is not going to be https enabled immediately. In such a case, can I safely ignore the warning message mentioned above and proceed with further development of the website as long as the theme will work without a problem?

I have checked your website and saw your problem with Custom Menu Page. Also, I notice that you have used child theme…please try to switch to the main theme, ensure that you have updated the Visual Composer, disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache, purge CDN file is you used and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins and check it again and see how it works. I suspect this problem as could be caused by your child theme…probably is not updated to the latest version and might cause some errors when the code is overwritten.

Unfortunately this error could come from a big number of problems. It is a general error and we cannot pin point it to a specific thing. I believe it happens due to a server configuration which is not responding, it could be due to a delay or it could also be a temporary issue so you can try this a few times and if you still get this error please contact your host provider and let him know about this, ask them to unblock our demo in order to retrieve the theme data. It could also happen due to your wp install or other plugins might also cause this. Also make sure that your permission for the upload folder are set correct. You can check this by trying to upload an image in media library. If the process succeeds then the permission are ok. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the cpanel, please contact your hosting provider.

The theme settings will be kept. They will not be removed by uninstalling the demo. You can try to export the settings just to be safe, but the demos do not affect any setting from the theme panel.

By default, the behaviour of this kind of feature is that every refresh the images to be changed randomly but if you are using a cache plugin, this feature is directly affected by this and the images will be with cache and then you have the same images until the cache will be empty. Prior version not causing any weirdo stuff on my sites; but with 3.1 I am waiting for 3.1.1 as they *always* have some bug with new dot revisions (seriously, 5 fixes first week for 3.0).
If the prior version was working, deleting both (either); clear cache if using.
Run wp-optimize to clean dbase, and clear ‘transients’ —
do clean install of 3.07 (or whatever it was), then go to the basic/general setting page in Yoast and hit “save.”
Dumb as that sounds, I’ve had to do THAT process in the past.
