Hi,
The only extra data that is added in the database is when you install a demo (Installing Pre-built Websites) and if you uninstall it al the content added by it will be removed.
Also, the footer, header, sidebar can be edited using the tagDiv Composer as those are now part of cloud templates and can be edited on frontend using the theme builder.

I also tried making the WordPress in settings German, then from theme panel imported German, clicked save, showed successful and no translations take affect in frontend, this is without active loco translate plugin etc, only as it is.
Then i tried installing loco translate i see that there are default .po .mo german language files and still they don’t take affect in frontend.
I also tried a new fresh installation, even on a different hosting, on a different domain and again using the “TownTalk” prebuilt demo, things like in single post “By:” and others don’t get translated as they should be from the imported language.
Maybe i can send you wordpress and ftp access? Just tell me where to send in order the information to be private.
My site language is Bulgarian though, i mentioned German, just to try with different language.
And yes on fresh installation also comments cannot be opened, even when on post edit it’s ticked on to be able to leave comments, i even tried turning page comments, but nothing.

Please do a full backup first. You can install/uninstall and change them as you wish. There is no limit in this matter.

I’m now seeing from the import prebuilt website dialogue that this is supposed to import homepages. So far when I do this, no matter what I do, zero home pages are imported.
I do get a “server configured incorrectly” error while doing this, although it says it will continue installing everything. The only thing that the system status says is not configured is the cache plugin (which I am waiting to install until after I get the demo imported).
EDIT: I installed the recommended caching plugin and it still says that it’s configured incorrectly. It says to check my upload folder permissions (which are normal) and to contact you.
I got this theme because I thought the installation of the demo would be the easy part. No idea why this is rocket science.
I also had the same problem while installing Urban Observer Pro on my website. There is a problem with the theme when you install only the demo. The support was not able to rectify the issue on my website.
What I did is installed the “demo with contents” and then deleted all the posts, pages and images associated with Urban Observer Pro theme.

Also, you can have multiple templates for posts and only one to be global.
All the cloud templates can be seen, edited, and duplicated in Dashboard -> Cloud Templates.

I installed the Shop Audio demo
When I go to Cloud Template/Shop the product template page to edit it tells me the page is non-existent.
Also, the template gives me a number of problems with product visibility.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but, nothing has changed.
Can you give me YOUR assistance?

Hi, I am using the newspaper theme with the new App listing demo. While customizing, the single app page URL appears like this: https://aitoolsjournal.net/tdcpt_app_listing/velocrm/
I want to rename this tdcpt_app_listing part but I am not sure how. I have looked into cloud templates and other options, including installing the CPT UI extension. However, since the custom post type of apps listings is a part of demo, i am unable to figure out how I can edit it.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Again, the homepage and each page from the demo show correctly.
However, all the pages that already existed on the website prior to importing the Cali Sight template and all the pages that I create after installing the template show a different header and a different footer, as if the template settings couldn’t apply to pages that were not imported with the demo.
Just so you know: I made a test with another template, Momentum, and at least the global header and the global footer from this template are shown even for pages that were not imported with the demo.
Hi consumerista, the thing is that without activating the theme you can not install demos and update the theme. So, without the possibility to install a demo the website will look like a basic WordPress theme.

Can i install a shop website demo along with my existing blog website installed
It is 4am here. I’ve spent the past several hours trying to get this to work and installing and reinstalling it. There is clearly something wrong with my zip files (I’ve downloaded three different ones trying to get this to work and I’m getting the same result). Not only does the layout not match the demo, I am only able to access category pages through breadcrumbs and every layout is exactly the same. What other suggestions for remedying this do you have? Building this site from scratch is not my goal.

Got cloud templates setup and working for posts and header, but when I try to set a homepage it gives back the error:
tpl card set global tpl error: missing template id or invalid nonce
Tried updating the theme, re-installing both theme and plugin, but nothing seems to fix it.

thanks, I did that, but the menu isn’t complete. it’s not the same mega menu that is in the demo site. I just don’t understand why the demo with content isn’t fully installing everything like the demo site, and I have to try to figure out where all the missing parts are. It’s a total waste of time. That’s why I am asking if there is a one click option that would import everything and it will all work exactly like the demo site. This a complete new install on wp 6.22. Very frustrating.

1. The “Errors at columns elements: 3(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme or a plugin conflict, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
If is only for one page or a cloud template (it can be on the header or footer, you can change them for tests and see if the problem persists), this is from some settings/shortcodes set on it and it can be fixed using the page revision.
2. From what I understand, you had a demo and then installed another, in this case, all the content that came with the first demo is deleted (posts, pages, categories…) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
“VERY IMPORTANT! If you choose to install a pre-built website with content, do not edit the content and use it as your site content! The pre-built website content will get removed when uninstalling the theme or switching pre-built websites. If you want to keep the content as your own, please create a copy of the page and use the copy as your content.”
3. If this situation only occurs when you are not connected, it is most likely related to the cache plugin, it still delivers the cache before you change the demo on the site

I did a very soft launch of a website today, starting off with demo content that I then stripped out so I had a layout ready to roll. Unfortunately, from moment one of installing with the demo content, it seems my site loads very slow page to page. I thought once it went live it might be fine, however, it is still quite slow.
I am on BlueHost, and using the stock configs of theirs and the theme. Any clue as to what is going on or what I need to change?
