Hello,
If you use the mobile theme, the link color is set using the mobile theme accent color => https://i.imgur.com/qaGJrEr.png.
You need to add custom code in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Custom code => https://www.screencast.com/t/MTGddLayVbp -> https://www.screencast.com/t/h0KMoLzXX18.
The code is:
.td-post-author-name a
{
color: black;
}
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!

The above page is getting displayed in desktop version. When I enable mobile version of the theme, the calculator is not getting displayed.
Kindly guide me how to enable this in mobile version also.
Thanks

Hey again,
I wish you a happy new year!
I still do not think that you understand me when it comes to the mobile menu that slides when pressing the hamburger button.
I want the 22% of the menu to be white colour and the rest a grey one, not the other way arround.
Also, it seems that the mobile menus do not change from the default widgets in the other menu of theme’s fonts.
I have set them to 16 px but nothing is happening.

Hello !
Mobile theme + AMP means that AMP will display the Mobile Theme design. Disqus has not been tested with Newspaper Theme and from what we know it can cause some plugin conflicts. displaying only AMP google will select automatically what he wants to in order to offer a user experience.
Thank you !
Hello !
For default mobile theme plugin you could simply remove ( delete ) the mobile theme plugin and reinstall it. It will automatically be refreshed to default looks.
Thank you !

Hi,
When you are enable the mobile theme plugin, then you’ll use a separate theme for mobile devices, therefore the layout will be different from the responsive version.
If you want, you can use the mobile theme only for amp, and then only on amp you’ll have the different layout https://i.imgur.com/3onnl0B.png if you do not want to use the mobile theme and use only the amp plugin, then you must use this option https://i.imgur.com/qsPGVrv.png.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
If I’m right you have display the mobile theme plugin on desktop.
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then you must have those thumbs enable, go to theme panel > block settings > thumbs the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes.
Also when the mobile theme is displaying on desktop, then you have a cache conflict, the plugin for cache that you are using do not recognize the mobile and desktop cache. WE recommend to use WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hello!
From what you describe it seems you have installed Mobile theme plugin. If you will create the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Thank you!
When I view my website on mobile device, the menu button on header is not working (unclickable) but I can click search button. The prolem only on homepage that show first, not in a post page.

Hello!
Unfortunately, if you have installed Mobile Theme plugin, then you can not change the design of itself.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. If you want to change the design of the mobile version, then you can create the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer plugin. Otherwise, you can let the mobile version responsive, and the design will be the same like in desktop version.
Thank you!
Hello!
This situation appear when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have do not has options for a separate mobile theme plugin therefore do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!

Hi,
I deactivated Tagdiv Mobile Theme plugin because of bug fixing. When I was trying to reactivate it once again, it failed with this error message:
Fatal error: Cannot declare class Mobile_Detect, because the name is already in use in /data/9/1/91571d3f-5b81-4a9c-a5cf-9b32da42948e/svetapple.sk/web/wp-content/plugins/td-mobile-plugin/Mobile_Detect.php on line 28
The error is links to plugins own file. So I tried to delete it and upload it again, double check in Plugins editor and FTP of my web, that this file is not existing anymore in meantime. After fresh upload I tried to activate the Mobile theme plugin again but I get the same error message again.
Can you please help me? It looks like infinite loop.
I am using latest version of both – WordPress 5.6 and Newspaper theme.
Hello team,
When I used the normal theme (with standarpack plugin + mobile plugin), I had to exclude these two paths from CDN loading in order for the website to work properly:
/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/style.css
/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile/style.css
Now I use the cloud templates, and when using CDN some items do not load correctly:

The problem is more visible in mobile, because the menu or search icon are missing.
Could you tell me which route I should exclude from the cdn now so that everything works properly?
This is the test site where I am having the problems (I always use a test site before using it on my main site): https://cutt.ly/GjpgDNJ
Have a happy new year 🙂
Hello!
I am facing a problem with the Mobile Pages.
A couple of months ago I set up the mobile pages for some of the pages of my site (the posts, the categories, the homepage, etc..); after a while, I decided to not use the mobile pages anymore and return to responsive version (desktop and phone), while using the Mobile Theme to render my AMP pages.
Since that, I cannot access most of the pages (including posts) from my phone, only from desktop.
Sometimes, there is no response: if I try to reach a link, the browser loads a blank page.
Sometimes, it loads a a critical error message, but without telling what this error is. The browser console says it is a 500 error.
Sometimes, WordPress says this is the error: https://paste.pics/B7P8R
Already did the usual routine (deactivating the plugins, checking the server criteria for Newpaper theme, etc..).
What may be causing this situation?
Hello,
I copied and pasted Google Adsense’s header ad javascript code to the Newspaper Theme Panel under “Header Ads”. In that section, I changed mobile ad size to 350×50.
However, checking on different mobile devices, ads being shown in the header are still much bigger than the defined value. Why is that?
The site is question is TheMoneyNinja.com
Now I see that on some mobiles the product theme isn’t tagDiv, why is that??
See image: https://prnt.sc/wetcly
Hello, I’m trying to figure out what’s the best configuration for Newspaper on small screens.
1) I see that for every page we have a “MOBILE” and an “AMP” version, and they’re both active at the same time, is this true?
2) In terms of SEO is this a good practice? Wouldn’t it be considered as duplicated content?
3) What is this duality for? Maybe mobile theme is for browsing the website and AMP is for google search results?
4) Smart lists work well on mobile theme, but on AMP instead there is no pagination, and everything is on the same page. Is this a known issue?
5) For the commenting system we use Disqus. Do you confirm that this works only on mobile and not on AMP?
Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions
After upgrading Newspaper to V.10 the mobile theme no longer presents a default setup of the site. I realize changes were made to this version to give users more control. I’m wondering if there is a default setting I can invoke until I have the time to design a mobile page? I find when I make and save changes, for some reason, the mobile theme does not save for display on mobile devices.
Can I revert to an earlier version of Newspaper to use have a default mobile theme? If so, which version?
Thanks, tom
I have recently installed and configured NewspaperX theme on my news portal but my mobile page looks different then the original page. How do I make same page work for mobile and tablet as responsive? Or do i have to create different page/template for mobile? If then where and how do I configure which page to show where and how?
I currently have the mobile theme active on my website. The cookie consent banner of the plugin “GDPR Cookie Consent Banner” shows up on the desktop version of the website but not the mobile version.
How can I program the banner to show up for mobile users?
If the GDPR Cookie Consent Banner plugin is not compatible with the mobile theme, which cookie consent plugin is, and how can I configure it to show the banner for mobile users?
Thank you for your time.
