Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then the code need to be set in the mobile functions.php the file path is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/functions.php
Hope this will help you!
Thank you !
Hi,
In order to remove the stycky from mobile you need to go in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js and search for tdAffix.init(“td-header-wrap”) this need to be comment like this -> https://i.imgur.com/EK2EIXq.png the the sticky from mobile theme will be remove, but I do not think that the problem is from there.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Super not helpful 🙁
Since my site works on all browsers and all devices except chrome on iPad, I was hoping for some specific “Tablet mobile theme” help.
Granted, you may not own a iPad, but you could at least of provided a suggestion that would help me debug the iPad issue.
Instead, you’ve offered generic help for 503 errors.
Not helpful at all, but hey – you got to “copy and paste” a generic reply and cross my issue off your list – hooray for you!

I have set the themefont to “ubuntu” as default for everything on the website, the font is visible on desktop but on android mobile phone and ipad I get a other standard font. I have set the fonts inside my cloud templates all to ubuntu and just changed the default font in the themepanels themefont to ubuntu as well. I even disabled the load of the default fonts used by the theme (Open Sans and Roboto) but nothing changes. Any idea how I can get the right font to show on tablet and mobile phone? Thx!
Hello, I just bought newspaper theme two days ago, and I love it!
There is only one problem. My website (exactlyfitness.com) works perfectly on desktop but on mobile, it doesn’t, the tagDiv Mobile Theme doesn’t work at all on mobile. For example, I have a sidebar and other things I added to Home (Accueil), I see them only on desktop, but not on mobile, Also I choose a specific share on social media buttons, they appear the style I want only in desktop. Same for video lazyloading and pause while another video is playing, they work only in desktop.
And When I deactivate Mobile theme plugin, everything works as it should be on mobile, but I lose the customisation I made on mobile like header and colors…
Hi,
That modules are from mega menu -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/ unfortunately for the moment there are not some many settings for this element, if you are using a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library, then you can edit the layout using tagDiv Composer.
The mobile layout can be adjusted by setting the mobile viewport -> https://i.imgur.com/wtl2CxM.png and just edit the elements you want -> https://i.imgur.com/loB7F89.png (this will be display a little different because the mobile device are usually using a smaller resolution).
Thank you!
Hi,
For this you need to use in css the id of the post/article and the code should look like this -> https://i.imgur.com/w3TtVRo.png the post id can be get from inside the article -> https://i.imgur.com/FzWEg9F.png
The code need to be set in theme panel > custom code> custom css and for mobile theme in theme panel> mobile theme> custom code> css.
If the code is not working you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the post where you want to remove this button and include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hi pratiek,
I just checked our theme code and the way it is working, therefore if you want to have the search animation but not the ajax results you need to go in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/includes/td_ajax_mob.php and comment 2 lines of code (if you comment all code will no longer work on amp) -> https://i.imgur.com/8HxqPxO.png -> https://i.imgur.com/BZMH30M.png and for amp you need to go in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/header-amp.php and comment this part of code -> https://i.imgur.com/Tzg7xDI.png -> https://i.imgur.com/awTSu40.png
The results will be:
amp – https://i.imgur.com/fDfB00r.png
mobile – https://i.imgur.com/k40LGkD.png
Hope this will help you, also I made a note to our developers with the suggestions you’ve made to can keep the search animation and remove only the ajax search!
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello !
When the mobile version or amp is displaying on desktop is a cache problem, we recommend to use WP Super Cache with the settings from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ also if you are using other cache plugins please deactivate theme and make a test.
If the problem persist, let me know the settings you’ve made for WP Super Cache.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you !
Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
Thank you !
Edit: When I deactivate Mobile theme plugin, everything works as it should be on mobile, but I lose the customisation I made on mobile like header and colors…

Hello everyone!
Is there a way I can change the color on the moobile home page of the category tags from black to colors chosen on the theme panel?
The colors are shown in the post page but not on the mobile home page, they are all black with white fonts.
Thank you!

Hi Vlad – so following this conversation we installed the Standard Pack (which brought up the breadcrumbs options), disabled the settings for breadcrumbs and page title in there, then turned Standard Pack off again.
We’ve noticed some other issues like this, but mainly affecting the Mobile Theme. Since the Mobile Theme inherits settings from the default settings rather than from an TD Composer templates, the Standard Pack has to be installed to change things like sharing settings and turning off the Facebook like button etc for mobile and AMP pages.
Not installing Standard Pack and removing unnecessary features is a good thing for Cloud Templates, but for a site that uses AMP it does create some issues.
Hi Satwik/Calin:
Thanks for your help. If I place the 2nd code as Satwik has advised:
“Go to Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> AMP Ads -> paste the second code in “ADSENSE AUTO ADS FOR AMP” field.”
So, as I will be using ADSENSE AUTO ADS FOR AMP, will I have to place the individual mobile ads codes also.
Because as the Google adsense will be determining number of ads & placing the ads at the suitable places – so there may not be need to place the individual mobile ads code.
Please advise.
Thanks & Regards……. Renu Bakshi
What are google fonts settings in theme panel? What if I disable google fonts? Does it affect mobile theme fonts?
Hi there,
I would like to know how to add newsletter on the mobile theme under footer section. Is there a code for that?
Mobile theme search box not working normally. When we click it, it should show search box to type but instead it is redirecting to domain.com/s=
In short, it is showing empty search page. Then we have to put type on that page for search. Help Fast.
Hi,
I am using Newspaper Theme on my wordpress site. My Hosting Service provider is SiteGround. They have an inbuilt plugin SG Optimizer to optimize loading speed of the site. It has been working fine with the Newspaper theme. Now I am thinking of installing and activating mobile theme version of the Newspaper Theme.
My question is will the SG optimzer work fine with the mobile theme version of the Newspaper WordPress Theme also.
Thanks & Regards……. Renu Bakshi
Hi,
So, theres a query (SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS) who consumes a lot of physical memory on large websites.
I found this fix (https://wpartisan.me/tutorials/wordpress-database-queries-speed-sql_calc_found_rows) and applied in “functions.php” file of the theme.
Is working in the desktop, it no longers show the slow query, but in mobile the problem persists.
Where should i put the code to fix the mobile version too?
Thanks.
Good afternoon,
I’m having a hard time tracing this issue – my site is TheAutomationBlog.com, and it works on PC and iPhone, but I get a 503 on iPad in Chrome but not Safari?
Chrome will work if you request the Desktop Site, but not the Mobile Site 🙁
I’ve just purchased a new license of Newspaper Theme (my third) and updated it to the latest and greatest as of today, 06-19-20, 2pm EDT, and it is still an issue 🙁
Can anyone give me any ideas what could be causing the 503 in Chrome on iPad (Air2)

Hi, im using mobile theme + amp, and i notice that pages dont show content, for example: https://www.bj-trends.com/politica-de-privacidad/
In desktop i can see content, but in mobile then it doesnt show the content.
Thanks
Hi can you send instructions how to do this?
I’m using Newspaper theme with mobile theme.
If I send link it will be publicly displayed which I don’t want.
Hi,
When the mobile version or amp is displaying on desktop is a cache problem, we recommend to use WP Super Cache plugin, this is a free plugin and tested with our theme, also we have a guide for the settings you should do -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ also if you are using other cache plugins please deactivate them and make a test.
Also using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
Thank you!
When I activate the Mobile theme plugin, it shows on mobile as well as on Desktop. Why is this so and how can it be resolved?
