Hi,
The mobile theme is a plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.
Also please check our documentation for Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
I think that you are referring to those 3 blocks, for those you’ll need to have set seam feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
You’ll need to add some post in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured
Let me know if you have more questions!
Thank you!
Hi,
Please check if the plugins have been updated – https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
After you update the theme to the latest version there should be an update button for the theme plugins in the welcome screen. The mobile theme plugin will be updated as well.
Or try the other update method, check if there is an update button for the mobile theme in the theme plugins panel – http://prntscr.com/nfme97
Ultimately if there is a problem, deactivate and delete it then reinstall it from the same plugins panel. Let us know.
Thanks
My issue is, because of using the mobile theme I facing internal link indexing issue in Google. I have placed many links in Footer and those are not getting indexed. So I want that to be indexed along with every post. Please provide me a solution for it.
I’m using the mobile theme and AMP available in the theme panel on my website, but I’m not satisfied with this, I’m getting a lot of errors in the Google search console. I want to disable the mobile themes and AMP and install AMP for WP plugin. please tell me how I can completely disable mobile theme and AMP, without affecting SEO.

Recently, I activated AMP on my website. All of my AMP pages are now indexed by Google and are showing in search results. And the problem is the revenue per page on AMP was less than half, and Google is showing a lot of AMP URL with errors. So I decided to disable the AMP from my website. I am using Mobile Theme + AMP so how can I disable the AMP properly without affecting SEO. Please help me.

The update of the theme and all plugins went well until The update of the TagDiv Mobile Theme which returns this message: This version of the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is not supported by the current activated theme!
Please make sure you’ve updated the theme properly! Follow this guide.
This is currently deactivated and the theme is loading and working normally. Caches cleared with no cache plugin active at present.
Regards
I have also the following notification :

CAN YOU SETUP THIS FOR ME ?
I’m using newspaper mobile theme.
Hi Team,
I tested but I decided not to use the Mobile Theme as I would have to rebuild my entire website (which is not an option right now).
We started to use Mega Menu feature (which is quite nice), but as it doesn’t load on mobile, we would like to have different menus from desktop and mobile.
Is there a way to accomplish that?
The only other way I can think of is via functions.php using child theme… but I’m not very clear on what needs to be accomplished if I use that way.
I searched on the forums and I might do something like this:
if ( wp_is_mobile() ) {
wp_nav_menu( array( 'menu' => 'mobile-menu' ) );
} else {
wp_nav_menu( array( 'menu' => 'desktop-menu' ) );
}
Please advise.
Hi @Catalin, I have already read the documentation and tested the latest updates on my staging site. There is a major issue with the mobile theme options where it does not show the responsive version of my website even though I have selected for it to only show the mobile version on AMP in the theme panel. This prevents me from going live with this update.
Hi!
I have just installed AMP and tagdiv mobile theme. Unfortunatelly, homepage is blank. What should I do? which widgets are optimized for AMP?
We changed our theme to tag/div recently, hoping that we would have a top notch theme with great and well thought out upgrades and support. Needless to say we are disappointed in knee jerk changes (getting rid of built in amp support and relying on mobile theme and wp amp) and this latest upgrade is unacceptable. Our site simply does not work and gives this td-api error and the site itself is code 500).
Al we can tell from you – is sorry you are on your own. I would say this is the beginning of the end for you company if you don’t change you attitude.
This version of the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is not supported by the current activated theme!

I have the latest version of theme 9.7.1 installed
Hi there,
I get this warning:
“This version of the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is not supported by the current activated theme!
Please update your theme!”
Everything is up-to-date, but I still cannot activate the Mobile Theme Plugin.
Hi,
I updated to the latest Newspaper theme, I followed all the steps and works fine apart from the fact that https://holbyonline.com/characters/holby-city/ & https://holbyonline.com/characters/casualty/ do not appear on mobiles they just appear as blank pages – you can see from the PC/iPad that there is content on the page. Please help!
Hi arafat,
Check our demo preview from here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_video/ and try to keep these elements to your mobile responsive mode.
Also, I have checked your license and it seems that your support has been expired long ago, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/TxqDt0B1 In the future, if you need any support, please extend it from here -> https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4d_7l87j4QIVw6MYCh2vfg4bEAAYASAAEgJv5_D_BwE
Thank you!
Hi,
@RWSyk, please notice that when you are using the AMP+Mobile theme, your mobile layout will be displayed like on Mobile Theme. Please check the plugin’s documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Also, we have released a new theme update where was fixed some of the issues like Sharing buttons and we recommend to update it. Please give more details about the issues you have so we can investigate them.
Thank you!
Hello,
If you use the mobile theme, no cloud library template or page where you used a page builder will work. Please read this guide to learn about the mobile theme functionality: https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
You are using the mobile theme and that’s why, on mobile, the footer section has another layout. For more information about this plugin, please check our documentation from here
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hi
I have updated to 9.7.1 on a staging site and have turned on mobile theme and AMP.
However, I only see the AMP option in the WordPress menu if I disable my Child Theme. Reading through other comments here, it seems that this is common / required in order to use AMP menu settings. I have disabled all non Newspaper plugins and still the same.
Am I right in thinking that I cannot use a Child Theme and AMP together?
Thanks
Mike
Hi,
First please make sure that you clear all cache after you make the changes for full width.
If this is not apply on your live website, please check this similar topic for full width: -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/increase-the-width-of-the-articles/
For mobile theme please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/some-pages-dont-work-on-mobile-devices/
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Thanks, I did this however it still does not appear in the sidebar.
I found that disabling the mobile theme plugin makes it show, but then I cannot use it…
Thanks!
Hi,
Please make update to Newspaper v9.7.1 if the message is still there, go in Plugins and delete the tagDiv Mobile Theme https://www.screencast.com/t/scIuvsPNbV after that go in Newspaper>Plugins and update the tagDiv Mobile theme and activate it https://www.screencast.com/t/54HcBdG8p ( if you need it ).

Hi,
You can try this custom css
.td-header-wrap .td-container {
padding-left: 0px;
}
https://www.screencast.com/t/gljLukuuvaB
you need to set the code in Newspaper>Theme panel>Mobile theme>Custom code>Css
Thank you!
Hi,
Using mobile+amp you’ll have the same layout for mobile posts/pages and amp, but you’ll need to make a new content in mobile editor for pages and amp.
Using Amp you’ll have the same layout on mobile like on desktop, but the speed will be lower, and you’ll still need to make content for pages in mobile editor, if you want to have amp on theme.
Thank you!
