Thank you!
Hi,
That top grid will show featured posts, if there are no posts in the featured category created by the theme when it is installed, then the grid will not appear

More information about how the mobile theme works here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hello,
If you try to ad it on pages, please add it in the mobile editor in the page edit back-end. On posts you can add it to the post content directly in text mode. The custom html section doe snot render shortcodes.
Please read this guide: https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
Please post a link to your website so we can test the AMP. Leave the AMP and mobile theme plugins activated, as well as the required option in the theme panel.
Thanks
Hi there, i recently activated the mobile theme to improve my site speed and it looks that everything works fine but when i try to navigate through the menu and select one of the sections not even one post is shown. I created the whole website pages using your tagdiv composer but as i said before i cannot see any of the post when navigating on the mobile theme. Probably I am doing something wrong but i cannot find it ¿any idea?
Hello,
Please read this guide: https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
You cna no longer test the amp page on desktop addin /amp or ?amp
You have to use the amp validator.
Without the mobile theme, there will be no specific theme style for amp. AMP now works through the mobile theme in order to have the theme style and all of the mobile theme options in amp.
The initial AMP plugin we released was designed based on the first version of the official AMP plugin for WordPress. Even though it was a tagDiv plugin, it still required the API of the official plugin. The changes came from the official plugin as they limited the theme support in the version we used and instead of updating it, they launched a new version with another, better implementation. They also announced the initial release will shortly become deprecated. This is why we decided to abandon our initial AMP plugin and use the new AMP implementation through the mobile theme. The new version required a specific theme for it as it would not have worked through the standard theme. There was no decision to take, unfortunately. If we have not made this step, soon the AMP plugin would have stopped working once the official AMP plugin implementation we used became deprecated.
Thank you!
Hi,
I see the mobile theme is active, but not the AMP plugin. Now ads are displayed
– http://prntscr.com/mwb78p
If you plan to use the AMP plugin and AMP auto ads, that is where the respective code has to be entered. We have tested this and it should work. Just remember to test with a mobile emulator, not in desktop.
If you want us to test, send us admin login at contact@tagdiv.com so we can activate the AMP plugin and make some tests, also see the error you mention. Let us know.
Thanks
Hello,
Sorry but the mobile theme will convert all styles to the single mobile styles. The mobile theme only has 1 smart list style. It cannot use any other styles.
The tagdiv composer will never be part of the mobile theme as it will defeat the entire purpose of it. If you need the composer on mobiles, please disable the mobile theme and you can use the standard responsive implementation of the theme. The mobile theme plugin is an optional plugin, not required for the proper functionality of the theme. We will be adding new features to the mobile theme in future updates but a full on composer will not be possible.
Thank you for understanding.
Hi,
Unfortunately our mobile theme/amp do not have this option to show the image captions in gallery’s, but this seams to bee a good feature, I will write this one on our list with suggestions.
Thank you for your understanding!
You could still use the previous theme version and the old AMP plugin, as to when it will be deprecated I cannot say.
@GiacomoLaw If you want us to check you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will. Basically all there has to be done is mentioned in the guide. Install both plugins and activate the option in the theme panel.
@gossiponthis Why exactly do you need to rebuild all pages now? The previous AMP plugin did not have an option to build pages. The functionality now is the same as always with the mobile theme, just with AMP support. Maybe I am misunderstanding. Let me know.

.td-footer-logo img{
width: 50%;
}
Set it in Newspaper>Theme panel>Mobile theme>Custom code> section css
Thank you!
Hi,
Maybe that plugin does not work with AMP, the plugin developer should be able to mention if this is the case. Or maybe the problem is with the mobile theme itself. Try to test if it works when only the mobile theme is active, or when only the AMP plugin is active.
Thanks
Hi,
When the AMP plugin is active, the theme should load the AMP in native mode, without canonical URL, when the website is accessed from mobile devices. Unfortunately, I cannot say for sure when exactly, Google treats this aspect but might exist the possibility that Google to not receive AMP in native mode and not from canonical URL when the site is not accessed from the mobile devices. I’m not aware of this case but I will forward placed this task to our developer’s team for more deeper investigations which should be done.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,

2. If you are using mobile theme you’ll need to set the shortcode of WPForms contact forms in mobile theme editor -> https://www.screencast.com/t/gAiG59IMYs

Hi,
When the mobile theme plugin is active, pages will not display the same content as on desktop. Each page requires two versions, one for desktop created with the composer or in any way possible in the theme, and one for mobile created with the simple mobile editor and it’s capabilities – http://prntscr.com/mw64sf – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Posts, category pages author pages etc, will use a predefined template on mobile created specially for mobile. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Besides the new implementation with the official AMP plugin and the mobile theme, there weren’t any other major modifications made in the theme. A few new features were added and some fixes.
So if you do not use the mobile theme and the AMP plugin everything should be as before. The mobile theme was modified to work with the AMP plugin. Maybe double check the implementation of the plugin, ad codes, clear all caching and CDN if used.
Thanks
3. That would be true, the mobile theme doesn’t have that many settings. Most elements are predefined, this is why it is lighter. We will add more options in it now that it has also been integrated with the official AMP plugin.
From what I know Google changed the testing method a while back, this is why now the results are quite different when compared to before this algorithm change. I see that render blocking would be the main issue when checking you website with the tool
– http://prntscr.com/mw86n1
Maybe try and eliminate or at least optimize in this matter. Try some render blocking plugins for example, there may be other methods.
7. Seems in this case there is also an inline margin left – http://prntscr.com/mw8fd3
Quite unusual. I can give you a code for it, to make it look better
– http://prntscr.com/mw8qf6
.td-g-rec-id-content_top .adsbygoogle {
margin-left:auto!important;
}
Looks like the ad does not respect the size it is supposed to appear in for some reason. I see that it is supposed to appear in 300×250 but it does not. What if you try and select that setting in the theme panel for mobile? – http://prntscr.com/mw8s09 let me know.
8. Setting a background color would best be left until the ads display issue is solved. It would appear just on the top and bottom at the moment.

Hi,
Note that in the last version of theme v9.6 the Amp is integrate in mobile theme, so e you’ll need to set the ads in mobile theme, and those will appear in amp too.
How to Make an AMP ready Website with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Also using the integrate AMP you’ll not longer need to use the /amp in url, the amp post/page will be display automatically on posts/page that allow amp version ( the layout of amp will be like on mobile theme )
Please make sure that you activate the amp from mobile theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6m5bxthx8ec and you check the box from general Amp -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WEyXhNzY
Thank you!
Hi,
1)Unfortunately, please notice that the Mobile Theme plugin has a certain layout and it cannot be edited with TD Composer, sorry! If you do not like the Mobile Theme layout, you should not enable it and then, the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive layout which can be created with TD Composer.
2)Unfortunately, the theme only works with Mobile Theme and AMP plugin and therefore, it cannot be changed with TD Composer, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Is possible to take some time until the rate average on mobile will increase, because there was some changes in mobile theme and amp, so you’ll need to star again from the began, if you check today you average rate this will be bigger the before.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Unfortunately, this functionality is not valid for the mobile theme, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
I have done the same way.. I activated the mobile theme first then activated the AMP…

Hi,
Besides the fact that you have activated the amp, you also have to activate the mobile theme and then activate the AMP functionality from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7iyT8SMWnkVB Also, for more information about the functionality of AMP with Mobile Theme, please check the following useful guide from here -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
