Hi,
It’s the same website with the same permalinks/url, just the layout differ, and this is allow.
The Mobile Theme is a feature specially designed to maximize the theme performance on mobile devices.
Please read our documentation for mobile theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
You are using the mobile theme plugin and that’s why your mobile layout is different than the desktop. Check more information about this plugin here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks.
Greetings all, sorry if this has been asked before, the mobile version of my newspaper9-themed site draft is only appearing in HTML now, was working before. When I click “View Full Site” in Chrome Android the mobile version is shown ok. Did I mess with the HTML code by mistake?
Hi,
we use Newspaper-Theme with a youtube-Background on the startpage.
In the mobile version, video starts not automatically (thats Ok), but if I press stop, then there will be displayd related videos from youtube.
It is possible to deactive that?
Thx and best greetings
Andreas
Hello, My website is very slow on mobile, so I think to use the mobile theme feature
Is it allowed that “Desktop” and “Mobile” theme have different looks/display by Google?
Thanks
Hi,
I’m using Mobile theme for mobile alone. But for normal site I’m using normal newspaper theme version 9.1. My question for normal newspaper theme category page.
Regards,
Sathya
Hi,
Sorry, was my mistake, you are using mobile theme, and this will not work in mobile theme.
For ads in category page please read this documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you.
Hi,
Use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS Area.
.td-mobile-content a:hover {
background-color:green;
}
Thanks.

Hi,
I’m using Mobile theme. In that there is an option for loop Ad. I have placed the Ad code in loop Ad section and given the post count as 5. But this loop Ad is displaying only once after 5th post. Is this the expected behavior or it should display after every 5 posts and is there any option to place the loop ad for a non-mobile theme.
Regards,
Sathya
Hello team,
Very strange things always happen with my website… today is this.
I change the font size in the theme control panel:
https://fotos.subefotos.com/2512dfcab973f7fa07fedbcea5bcba6co.jpg
The changes become effective in the desktop version when the cache is emptied.

But, the changes do not apply to the mobile version (I do not use the taddiv-mobile plugin).

¿Why?
Another question: Is it possible to apply lightbox in general to all photos in all publications? Automatically, without having to go one by one. Is that possible?
Thanks
Hi,
I believe those socials will be displayed regardless of the theme panel setting. There is no options to disable them specifically. You could remove them like this
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-menu-23/
Sorry for any inconvenience. I will make a note of this and it will be considered to add an option to remove the socials from the mobile menu modal.
Thanks
Hi,
Please use the mobile theme https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
Unfortunately our theme do not have this option, but you can use a flex block and set settings per each device
On desktop: https://www.screencast.com/t/6HKNJjl35i
On mobile: https://www.screencast.com/t/Ik42eacS3DgK
Thank you.
Hi,
So you want to display other blocks in the page, not the ones from desktop. Note that blocks and even whole rows can be hidden per device
– https://www.screencast.com/t/rovyvygS
Select the blocks you want and the device you want and hide them as needed. You can hide one block for mobile and one for desktop for example. The result will be a different block per device.
If you use the mobile theme plugin this will not be possible, the mobile pages cannot be edited with the composer, or display composer content
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
So once you set a menu for the mobile theme in the theme panel mobile settings, it gets reset/removed? Does it happen after a period of time, or specific actions on your part?
I will make some tests on my side to see if it happens for me as well. You could check if there are enough resources, as mentioned in this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks
Hi,
Please go in Newspaper>Theme panel>Background and look in Mobile menu/search background and remove the background image
https://www.screencast.com/t/eKKAOq9tbh4F
Thank you.
Hi,
Regardless of the smart list style used on desktop, the mobile theme will not display it.
It has a single smart list style which will be loaded automatically on mobile when the mobile theme plugin is active. It is a simple style designed for performance.
So only if you should deactivate the mobile theme plugin the same style from desktop will appear on mobile.
Thanks
Hi,
https://imgur.com/a/1vew3iy
I tried the theme panel setting and deactivated the top bar menu, social icons, show sign in/join.
Even tried via the mobile theme plug in and deactivated the show sign in/join.
However this setting is not reflected correctly on mobile menu and it continues to display the social icons and sign in/join option.
How can i diasble this on mobile?
Thank you, i’ve done it. I have one more question for mobile theme. I want for each category page different slider. I need something like this, tbh how i can get category name or category id?
You are using specific Blocks that can be bundled in modules. I get that, but what i dont understand, are the thumbnails. These have been assigned to certain Blocks/Modules etc. and havent been updated since then?
For Example Module 11. I use this module, chause it looks like a module a news-site would use. On Desktop (Big Picture, highlighted headline, short text and a button… perfect. But youre using the 324×235 thumb for desktop and for mobile. It resizes the picture to 100 x +/-70 and the mobile browser has to load the whole 324×235 picture. Couldnt that be fixed? Theres already a 100×70 thumb… why not use this and speed up your theme.
I think there are many examples of thumbs, that doesnt fit exactly in mobile/landscape mode and could be optimised with already available thumbs, instead of resizing it.
And no i havent found a Block that does that job (without breaking the look of my news-blog).
Best regards
dj
The homepage on the mobile theme is fixed as far as I know. The top grid and latest articles cannot be changed.
To add custom HTML, images or text just edit the page and add those elements inside the Mobile Editor.
I activated mobile plugin, now how can i edit the home page layout ?
or is mobile theme fixed ?
I keep losing the mobile menu with td-mobile-plugin when I make changes in the menu. Re-saving the associated mobile menu in theme panel > mobile settings repairs that.
Just letting you know.
