Hello,
with the The Mobile Theme I have top grid – displays 3 featured posts.
Can I change the category?
I would like to get the “Goofy” category out. How can I do?
Hello,
If I use the plugin “mobile” in my theme, is it possible to modify the home page to add custom texts and descriptions?
Thanks
Hi,
1. If those are shortcodes provided by Visual composer then they wouldn’t be rendered by the tagDiv composer. They won’t be recognized. Blocks, grids and other theme specific elements will work with both composers because they are available in both.
On the other hand, if those shortcodes are provided by a plugin, in the tagDiv composer they can be entered in a column text for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EeFM8r6L
2. The top menu is not displayed on mobile. If necessary it can be made visible with some CSS, for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WYd9WoqoR
I removed the socials because they are also displayed in the mobile menu window, if you want them in the top menu as well as in the mobile menu I will modify the code. Let me know.
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS section, then the top menu will appear on mobile.
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu,
.td-header-top-menu-full,
.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block!important;
text-align: center;
}
.td-social-icon-wrap{
display:none;
}}
Thanks
But when cleared the cache it seems fine, But the mobile theme is not working.
Recently I applied the mobile theme. Now even in the desktop, it shows the mobile theme. How to fix this?
website : https://bit.ly/2DCJnH3
1. i am using google adsense
2. i have entered correctly as provided by tagdiv and google adsense but ads are not working.
3. i have deactivated mobile theme plugin, now issue i am facing is loading speed, site is loading very very slow on mobile devices. what should i do now ? even on desktop site is slow, since i am from india, my users are having slow internet connection, they might need faster site.
4. i am adding ad code to theme panel > ads > header, now advertisement is getting implemented, but it is coming over the cover image which the theme has.
5. now 1 more error is encountered, i disabled the plugin mobile them, now on mobile devices, i am unable to click on menu.
Hi all, i d like to multiply x3 the entire logo section (also mobile) in the theme panel to put in each one a different logo with different redirect link! The result with all 3 logos side by side [LLL], each logo dimension 110x90px. Hope its possible or someone show me a trick to do that! thx guys, nice support ever!!
1 – that option is enabled but the categories are not shown
2 – ok i’ll try but there is too much space from the bottom anyway. Look at the red lines https://ibb.co/kJiRxq maybe it’s the category that pushes the writing down?
3 – ok thanks i’ll try
4 – ok. this is not a big problem anyway.
5 – yes, it is similar but they are both wrong. It is clearly seen that the photo has been distorted by the width. look at the picture above.
6 – no, you did not understand the problem. I do not mean the google ads below. I refer to the background ads. From Background —> THEME BACKGROUND and also in the ads panel —> BACKGROUND click ad. I set the image as you can see from here https://ibb.co/kmNiSq.
The problem is that the background is also loaded on the phone. For the background I set CUSTOM CODE —> ADVANCED CSS —> DESKTOP this code: .td-header-wrap {margin-top:115px;}. I don’t know why but on mobile layout, when pages are loading (for example when I click on an article on the homepage), I see for a few seconds the background that I set in the site. Is it not possible to prevent the ad from being loaded into the mobile version? look at the picture https://ibb.co/cVN07q
This is a page that is loading and you see the amazon logo that has been set as background. It’s really bad to see it during the loading of pages…moreover, there is no need to load additional content in the background on mobile phones. It is a useless data consumption
7-Are this dimensions correct? this is may psd file for create custom background ads https://ibb.co/jBSxLA
anyway my pc is 1920×1080 but if i set that background with the same dimensions, on the left and right side remain white spaces. Why? the resolution is the same. Look here https://ibb.co/kQZBfA
to cover the white part I had to set the size on photoshop at 2200px wide. I do not understand why.
Hi,
The mobile theme latest will not be affected by the setting you mention. Something like this could only be done with a modification to a mobile theme file, like in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/latest-article-mobil-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
1. What kind of ads are you using? I could take a look, post a link to the website.
2. I could take a look here as well, ads for AMP have to be entered in the Theme panel AMP section. For Adsense ads you have to enter these parameters
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7183212?hl=en
– https://www.screencast.com/t/rBr4FTlcH5X
Simple HTML ads can be entered in the dedicated section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/W3d2qwNJhS
Be sure to test with a mobile or mobile editor to see if the ads appear.
3. That happens because the mobile theme plugin is active. This plugin is optional, it is intended to be used if you want to display a simpler and also different content on mobile.
You have to create 2 versions for each page, one with the composer for example as you did for that page, and one with the simple mobile editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vSh8aLuBzjgT
As I said the plugin is optional, so if you want to display the same content from desktop on mobile, deactivate it. More info about the mobile theme here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
4. Some header styles display the header ad below the menu and logo for example
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
There are also plans to introduce a header builder in coming updates, this will add a considerable amount of flexibility concerning the header section.
Thanks
Hi,
My hompage on desktop looks fine, there are no problems but when I reach it from my mobile, the homepage doesn’t show the featured videos screenshot. Also, there are some codes which I already deleted.

https://www.screencast.com/t/iOhiiC5GD03
On desktop it work correctly (the post “Contatori gas, frode mostrata Iene. Ottenere risarcimenti con class action NoiConsumatori” don’t appear in last article), in mobile site it appear.

I have mobile theme active. How I can modify the last article on mobile theme? I don’t understand where I can modify. Can I?
Thank’s
Hi,
From where do you exclude the categories? The blocks and grids will display the same content across all devices, according to your filtering and sorting. I could take a look if you can provide a link to your website and details about what I should check exactly.
An exception would be on mobile when the mobile theme is active. Then on the homepage for example there will be predefined content. There is a top grid displaying featured posts and a latest articles at the bottom

Had to install mobile theme plugin to fix this error. Thanks for your reply bro.
Hello Valerio,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do this, sorry! If you want to trigger the mobile menu for different width, notice that you need to edit the js file of the theme and make it yourself the required changes for this functionality. Notice that’s not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
It takes time in responsive theme. Now I have installed mobile plugin but without it, menu opens with delay. Please suggest any solution for it…
I checked that your menu is loading fast. Besides menu will load faster in mobile theme plugin only. It will not work on responsive theme. Theme admins says it’s slow internet issue.
Did you used mobile theme plugin or it’s responsive theme?
Hi, i have installed newspaper theme to my website, then i added crypto template.
i am using amp also
problems:
1. ads are not working properly on website (Desktop view)
2. ads are not working on amp version
3. i created Sarkari Result this page – It is working fine on Desktop but on mobile view it is showing blank page.
4. need to add – AD under Header but its not coming in proper format.
hi
In the theme panel, in top header, I have inserted an Adsense code as follow:
+
<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script>
<!– El diestro TOP HEADER (arriba página) –>
<ins class=”adsbygoogle”
style=”display:block”
data-ad-client=”ca-pub-2738990453449620″
data-ad-slot=”7496652462″
data-ad-format=”auto”
data-full-width-responsive=”true”></ins>
<script>
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
</script>
In the mobile version, if I select “auto” …it is not shown properly…half of the ad is shown out of the iPhone screen. I had to select “200×90” size …in that size the ad is shown correctly, centered and in the screen.
So it seems there is a problem with the ads , when selecting auto size, in the theme panel
Can you help me please?
Thanks
Hi, today I have been updated theme to latest version. After checking I found that google think my site isn’t mobile friendly.
I do not installed any new plugins. Of course I didn’t do any changes inside theme.
In fact site totally mobile friendly, but google think’s not.
Could you help me resolve it?

I state that I do not know if the facts are related, but only after I upgraded to version 9.1 of the theme, I have many 404 errors on mobile. I noticed that pages after the url have /amp/. Is this something related to TagAMP? Because I’ve never activated it but I do not even understand how this “extension” could be.

Thanks for your time and help!

Hi,
I believe that is how the infinite loading will work, with changing URLs.
The mobile theme plugin is optional, deactivating it will not cause problems. Use it only if you want to display a different and much simpler version of the website on mobile
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
So the first problem is that you cannot activate the actual mobile theme plugin? Are there any errors displayed when you try to activate it?
There were some cases when conflicts with other plugins caused this problem. As a workaround it was suggested to deactivate all non-theme plugins, activate the mobile theme plugin, then the rest of the non-theme plugins. That worked, you could try the same.
The responsive mode is passive, no need to activate this anywhere. That means the website will adapt to all devices automatically. The optional mobile theme is the one that has to be activated if you want to use it.
If you are facing problems, please mention some details and examples of the issues. If necessary and possible post some links to the website so we can check as well.
Thanks
