The shortcodes will not get rendered as the mobile theme does not use the page builder. Please read the guide. it only allows standard text in the tiny mce editor.
The plugin can be disabled at any time if it is not to your liking as the theme is already responsive without the mobile theme. It is an alternative plugin.

Thanks

Hello,

There is no problem to solve. The mobile theme needs a mobile version of your site. If nothing is added in the mobile editor, nothing will show up on mobiles.
Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thanks.

Hello akashdeep305,

Please try to disable all of the untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Leave just to active only the plugins come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if the problem will be still there, you should try making a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and check the results. Notice that our mobile theme was fully tested and should work as expected with the theme if it was right installed according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your understanding!

Thanks Catalin, though that design tweak is the far lesser of the issues.
More importantly are the two functions not working – the tag div gallery and the mobile theme appearing on tablet.

Hello CVBJ_Creative,

Please keep in mind that the mobile menu should work as expected without any problem if the theme is right used, without any untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and which might cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of these and leave just only our tested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.
If the problem is still there, you should provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it and also, so I can check it to mobile devices.

Thanks for your understanding!

it takes long for the theme to load, so the visitors leave before the website fully loaded

Hi,

If you activate the mobile theme plugin, that has it’s own stylesheet. This can be found in the mobile folder, in the main theme directory
https://www.screencast.com/t/q0Tstsh0Xd
There are no plans at the moment to implement RTL in the theme, I could not say when this will be available.

Thanks

i have seen both these issues in threads at the beginning of the year but couldn’t find any with resolution.
i am running v 7.3 – i’d rather not deal with the big upgrade to 8 until i’ve more time in the autumn.
the mobile theme has shown a huge improvement in pagespeed, but the tag div galleries, which i use quite a bit, are not working.
also the mobile theme is showing on tablet – even a 10″ in landscape – i thought it was meant to be restricted to phone screens only?
finally i don’t like the M1 blocks at all. the letterbox format top of image often shows nothing more than background. i would much prefer them to be 16:9 or even 4:3. Is there a css code snippet available to change them?
many thanks for any help – and if it’s coming from theme staff – great theme – sorry first you’ve heard of me is gripes – but that’s forums.

Hi,

This code should make the menu and the search switch places on mobile
https://www.screencast.com/t/DDTZrciLY

#td-top-mobile-toggle {
position: absolute;
right: 0;
}
#td-top-search {
right: 54px;
}

Enter the code in the same phones section of the Advanced Css.
To change the way the mobile modal is functioning may not be so easy. This is where the feature is defined in the theme, in the theme stylesheet
https://www.screencast.com/t/aOkd1fUq
Try changing the translate values and see if it works properly. There may be other values and elements that would require modifications to make it work.

Thanks

Hi,

After further inspecting this issue, it seems there is a height limit for the open menu on mobile. The menu items are all there but they cannot be seen.
Please enter this code in Theme panel->Custom Css and it will increase the height of the menu on mobile, to be able to display all the categories
https://www.screencast.com/t/EGcugrp1pLi

.td-mobile-content .td-sub-menu-open > ul {
max-height: 5000px;
}

Thanks

Hi,

1)On desktop it will look exactly the same as before as the code only affects the mobile version of the theme.
2) Sorry but css cannot do that. That must be programmed by a developer as it takes a lot more than just css. Sorry but there is no simple solution for it.

Thanks.

Hi,

The mobile theme uses a different smart list. Please access your theme files and remove this part of code:

Hello,

This happens because you use the mobile theme plugin. The mobile theme has it’s own ad section: https://www.screencast.com/t/PNC4pMAkg

Thank you!

Hello Aviv,

If you use the mobile theme plugin, then you will also have to place the ad code in the theme panel settings like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/HkQBf09HVZSM

Thanks.

Hi,

That usually happens because of a plugin conflict, or plugin interference with the mobile plugin. I would suggest to deactivate all your plugins except the mobile theme and the ones provided in the theme package, then clear any caching installed. Now the mobile theme should work properly. After this, enable your plugins one at a time, while checking to see if it still works. Hopefully this way you can identify what is causing the issue.
You can try the suggestion also if you are not using the mobile theme plugin, and the normal responsive menu is not working as intended.

Thanks

Hi,

The header style you are using does not have a limit for the logo image. If you would like it to cover all the space, simply upload a bigger logo image. Your current logo is like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/LHnIWzzEipl
And the logo container for me is bigger
https://www.screencast.com/t/lfn4hZooD
The logo image will not get stretched to fit, you have to use a bigger one. On bigger devices there will be an empty space if the image is smaller.
On mobile you can try a code like the one below for what you want to achieve. It will remove the gap you mention, align the logo to the left and move the menu toggle to the right
https://www.screencast.com/t/dx0y4Glys8zh

.td-main-menu-logo img {
max-height:54px;
margin-left:0;
}
#td-top-mobile-toggle {
float:right;
}

This code must be entered in the Theme panel->Advanced CSS in the phones section. Please let me know if I misunderstood something, and I will make adjustments.

Thanks

I’d like the view of the homepage to be the same as my category views. How can I do this?

I also can’t seem to find the tagDiv Mobile Theme in the .zip I downloaded, so I can’t customize the mobile theme.

Thanks

You’re right. I did not activate it, because I had problems with Mobile Theme, but yes, you were right, it was active. Thank you very much! (I should have noticed!)

Hello Hamza Khan,

If you want to change the Big Grid from your front page in mobile theme, please notice that you will have to alter the code from the td_block_big_grid_mob_1.php core file and change the post limit, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/tm8M9M6nBrhG

Hope this helps!

Thanks.
