Hi Calin – all caches have been flushed by our tech support team for our site, and all non-logged in device caches have been flushed, but the problem persists and ONLY related to this particular Page (create from Cloud templates). Our tech support team has advised: “It may be worth reviewing the code used to build the new page. In many themes, custom CSS is added specifically for mobile and tablet views. If this is not configured, the layout typically defaults to the desktop CSS, etc., which does not always display properly across devices. I am not certain whether the TagDIV Newspaper theme supports this behaviour, but I would expect that it does.
Since other pages appear to be functioning correctly, this points to a likely issue within the code of the newly created page itself.
Ok, something doesn’t seem right. I’m checking this on mobile (using this link: https://www.bizcatalyst360.com/welcome/), but I only see the content section—there’s no header or footer.
Could you provide a screen recording? Also, does this happen when you are logged in?
Hi,
I just checked teh provided link and now it appears on mobile – https://prnt.sc/QSNxGzKpnYH1
Hi,
Normally, translating the mobile theme doesn’t require a plugin. However, if using one is more comfortable for you and it works well, that’s perfectly fine.
Hi,
Do you want to use the mobile theme plugin? Please note that using it, you no longer have the same layout and content as on a desktop. If you want the same version, please disable the plugin and the responsive version will be used.
If you want to use the tagdiv mobile theme plugin then you need to use the theme panel settings to customize a translate – https://forum.tagdiv.com/customize-a-translation/
Thank you!
Created the following new page (including a mobile version), but it simply won’t display at all on a mobil phone:
Download the plugin Loco Translate
The mobile theme is in english but not in Dutch, all the translations are correct, but doesn’t work on the mobile theme. How to fix this?
Hi,
If you are referring to this background image https://prnt.sc/ShxazSdiOuDQ, then you need to go to the theme panel > background and mobile menu/search – https://prnt.sc/w6d5Ch6pWxtZ, set a different image or remove it.
The sign in option can be disabled from the theme panel > Header > sign in/join – https://prnt.sc/H7_B3UZyVMM_ jus disable those options save the settings and also go to Dashboard > Serrings > General and disable the membership option – https://prnt.sc/2F4Fn-hpn-kD
Hi,
Thank you for your quick response. Now I need to know how to change the background image of the truck that appears in the mobile menu, and also which items appear because there’s a “sign in” link that I don’t want to show. How can I edit the mobile menu?
Regards,
Hi,
The menu can be created under Dashboard> Appearance> Menu https://prnt.sc/pqei0GsTurlp
To assign it on a header, you need to edit that cloud header with tagDiv Composer, then select the mobile viewport after that you have 2 elements that can be used for the mobile menu: https://prnt.sc/eJcQc0R0zpCc
– Mobile horizontal menu (already used on this demo) https://prnt.sc/UN1q8xVNZRll
– Mobile menu element – https://prnt.sc/D12KGEObTLon
Thank you!
Hello,
We want to create a menu for the mobile version of our website, a menu that appears without expanding, similar to many websites where you tap the menu to access its contents. This saves space in the website header when accessed from a mobile device—not an iPad or tablet, but a smartphone.
Is there a way to define a specific mobile header that can be assigned to the mobile version of the website using Cloud Templates?
Thanks in advance for your attention
Regards,
Hello!
I would like my contents of pignetotv.it (mobile version) to scroll one-by-one like on romatoday.it (mobile version): it would be possible?
Please let me know, thanks a lot!
Hi,
Our Newspaper theme provides more options to set the mobile version:
1. Responsive Desktop Version – The default responsive layout that adjusts to mobile screens using tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/apZQZ0o.png
2. Mobile Page/Template – A custom mobile layout that can be created using the tagDiv Composer.
3. tagDiv Mobile Theme Plugin – A separate mobile theme that provides a dedicated mobile experience but is limited in edits and changes.
Note: When the tagDiv Mobile Theme Plugin is activated, it takes priority and will be displayed on mobile devices. If it’s not active, the system will check for a mobile page/template built with tagDiv Composer. If neither of these is in use, the responsive desktop version will be shown by default.
In this situation, since you’d like a different mobile version for mobile, you should use option 2.
Thank you!
Thanks for the assistance. I added the row to the desktop header and also to the mobile view, and now it is appearing everywhere so thanks for that suggestion. Regarding there not being a default template for pages, perhaps there should be. I don’t really see a downside to that.
Hello,
I’m using the Newspaper theme on my website and I’m experiencing an issue with the homepage behavior on mobile devices.
I have created a specific page intended to be used as the mobile homepage:
https://www.larepublica.cat/2026-marc-mobile/
This page works correctly when accessed directly.
However, when visiting the main homepage:
https://www.larepublica.cat/
Logged-in users sometimes see a different version (closer to the intended mobile layout)
Regular visitors (not logged in) always see the default homepage, not the mobile version
My goal is to have a different homepage for mobile devices, ideally loading the mobile-specific page instead of the default homepage.
Could you please advise:
Is there any built-in functionality in Newspaper to assign a different homepage for mobile devices?
Can this be achieved using tagDiv Composer or theme settings?
Could caching or theme options be causing the different behavior between logged-in and non-logged users?
If needed, I can provide screenshots or access details.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Best regards,
Hi,
There is no default template for pages. Each one can be created, duplicated, and customized using tagDiv Composer as you prefer.
For pages, you’ll need to edit them individually with tagDiv Composer and add the row containing the ad. You can easily copy this row by right-clicking on it, then paste it into each page using tagDiv Composer.
Regarding the header, the desktop header is different from the mobile header. Therefore, if you set something on the desktop header and want it to appear on mobile as well, you’ll need to switch to the mobile viewport in tagDiv Composer and add the element in the header section: https://i.imgur.com/Vc8V7kP.png
Thank you!
I am using Newspaper theme with the Default Pro layout. In my Cloud Templates, I have a “Header Template – Default PRO” and a “Single Post Template – Default PRO”. Under Page templates, there is a “Homepage – Default PRO” but no single Page template in my Cloud Templates. In my Single Post Template, I added a row to the top of the page that will show ads below the navigation and above the post content. I would like to do the same to all my existing pages, but I do not have a pages template that I can edit. Right now, my pages look exactly like my posts, with the same layout, navigation, sidebar, and footer, however they do not contain the ad row that my posts have. How can I add this to all existing pages? Alternatively, is there a way to add a row to the “Header Template – Default PRO” under the logo and navigation part that collapses in mobile? I tried adding a new row to the bottom of the header template under the navigation, but when the navigation switches to mobile menu, the row disappears.
Hi,
I do not follow. Could you please provide some more details?
Do you want to install a mobile plugin?
If you want the exact same content on mobile as on desktop, there is no need to create mobile pages or use the tgDiv mobile theme plugin; the desktop version is responsive and can be used.
Currently, you have the tagdiv mobile theme plugin and this is used.
Thank you!
Mobile plugin how do I get the download link? I bought the Newspaper theme
Hi Scott,
I understand. The issue is that the update from Nesaper 12.7.4 to 12.7.5 does not include any changes that should affect the website’s speed.
What I recommend is addressing the problem with the image that has been set as a background on the site but cannot be found: https://i.imgur.com/xWXB1KQ.png
It appears this image may be used as a background for the header menu—likely on the main header, sticky header, and possibly the mobile header as well.
Hi,
There is no need to do anything; the responsive version is automatically used if the tagDiv Mobile theme plugins and amp are disabled.
Also, if you want, the mobile theme version can also be edited on elements, per some options, those options will have a bar in front of the text https://i.imgur.com/WC9l1cJ.png
Hi guys,
I have a strange problem: when I am browsing my website on mobile, when a page is loading, NEWS12PAPER is displayed for a fraction of a second before my logo is displayed. I configured my logo in theme settings (header for desktop and mobile) and in tagdiv composer.
How can I prevent NEWS12PAPER logo to be displayed when a page is loading?
Hello, we have a template purchased Newspaper on mivemi.cz, I click on the search icon, then the search field, it disappears and I can’t click on anything else on the website.
The same on mobile. A few people looked at it, but no one knows what to do with it…
I deleted and put back css, head, body and nothing helped, so there is no error there. Then I disabled plugins and disabling the tagdiv plugin helped, but then again all the edits from the logo to every text that I made disappeared.
Does anyone know what to do with this, please?
I don’t know how to code, so I’ll write something for beginners. Thank you all
Hi,
This issue usually occurs when the responsive version is not being used and a mobile template is assigned instead.
Please check while logged in to a category whether a mobile template is assigned (https://i.imgur.com/2OXOth3.png). If there is one, please remove it by selecting “No mobile template” (https://i.imgur.com/r3l7SMA.png).
