Hi, tagDiv team …
We need your help please.
Here is our url: https://ramadhani.diknas.net/
We don’t remember what setting we have been tinkering 😀 , now there is a black bar above the header in mobile version. How to get rid of it again?
Thanks!
diknas
Hi,
Unfortunately not, there are no plans that I know of to change the functionality of the mobile menu in that way. That could only be done by making probably a lot of code modifications in the theme, and will require additional design most likely.
If this is required for you, maybe you could consider hiring a developer or freelancer to help you with these modifications. We do not have theme customization/modification department at this moment. We always recommend the professionals from Envato studios

Hello,
You can only show different content for mobile devices if you use the mobile theme. If not, the same menu will appear on both devices.
If you want to contact us in private, please contact us on our email address at contact@tagdiv.com
Thank you!
Hello,
Please check your menus section and if you have the menu set up with custom links pointing to # then you will not be able to click them on desktop or mobile devices. Here is an example: https://www.screencast.com/t/WcGkkAJDk
Please check the links in your appearance->menus section.
Thanks.
Hi, are there some news about: how to remove hamburger menu to get a standard menu on mobile theme?
I need to have only 3-4 links in the menu and then must show under the logo in mobile theme.
I don’t like hamburger menu, animation during opening and similar.
I want a fixed menu
First of all, great work on having your own working and optimised AMP plugin 🙂 I’ve switched from using the Automattic AMP plugin to this one on my site.
Some feedback from myself – I know it’s still an initial version so I understand more updates will be coming, but here they are:
- On the /amp page, the search icon/button on the top right links to the WordPress Address URL, and not the Site Address URL (i.e I have my WordPress files in a folder structure, so the search icon goes to 404).
- The Related Articles on the /amp page are using 300×194. Hoping there are more options on the administration panel to either disable thumbnails, or use other dimensions? For example if I visit my site on a mobile (regular page, and not the /amp page), the Related Articles are using a different thumbnail dimension/block
- There is an empty “About Us” section on the Footer of the /amp page. This is probably my fault for not knowing where should I enter the information in 🙂
For those who want to “hack” or edit the plugin files and know a bit of PHP:
- Change search URL: under td-amp/templates/header-bar.php, change “site_url” to “home_url” on line 22
- Disable About Us on Footer: under td-amp/templates/footer.php, comment out line 46 (add a ‘//’ in front of the About Us print-out line)
Hello!
I created a separate menu for mobile, and have it selected in the menu section of WordPress, and in the theme portion, but all that is being shown is the desktop menu.
The site is under password protection. What is an email I can send you login info?
Thanks!
Mellissa
Hello,
all demo’s work excellent. However I want to use the black version to start with. on mobile devices the menu does not fold out. It happens on my S7 and my wife her Iphone. All other demo versions work great and the menu does fold out on mobile devices. Please help me out. my website
Ah I see. thanks for the info regarding the fonts, I’ll check that.
I skipped the mobile theme since the desktop theme seemed to be looking good on mobile. I guess I’ll have to install the dedicated mobile theme then.
thank you
Hi,
The related articles font properties can also be influenced by the global block header style. When using default for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/kG2lALqqHN
The font weight of the related articles/more from author is normal
– https://www.screencast.com/t/O0Gow8dlU
A dedicated font setting just for that is not available, they will be affected by these font settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ZtrEcpWQU
The mobile front page grid does not need a scroll, it will display 3 articles one below the other
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Desktop grids when responsive, have an intuitive design that would lead to scrolling by the user
– https://www.screencast.com/t/USOi2Jk3nh2
A scroll will appear – https://www.screencast.com/t/5btaOSSK4
Thanks
I found the problem: in mobile version the menu has the following structure: the button to open menu has a link with address ’#’, that is why by clicking this link it redirects to this URL. weekenjoy.com/#
How can i fix and change this?
Hi,
The mobile menu will be loaded and ready to be used as soon as the website is done loading. Maybe something is delaying the website causing the mobile menu issue. We could take a look if you could provide a link to your website.
Thanks

Hello greenboxae,
If you will use the Mobile Theme you do not have the same layout like on the desktop. Disable it and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mode.
Thanks for the message!
Hello dedamilorad,
If you are using the mobile theme, please notice that the first big grid at the top of your homepage will be populated with the posts from Featured categories. Also, if you do not have something like this added in that section, no posts will be posted. Ensure that you have some posts added to this category from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NqiK5dmUT
Thanks for the message!
Hi, I have 2 rather simple questions: the font weight in the “more from the author” box seems to be bold. Where can I change that? Which field in the theme panel exactly does determine the font weight there?
And is there an indicator for the big grid for mobile to indicate that it can be swiped to see more? Like arrows for instance?
thank you.
Hi,
when I press the menu button the initial animation is starting (the website is “pushing” back) but then nothing happens. Works with the search button though, but the mobile menu is just now showing. Anything I can do to adress that behavior?
thank you.
I would like to have a same responsive front page on mobile as the desktop. But (I think) cause on mobile theme – plugin I lost it. Could I restore it?
I used static page in Settings – Reading. On desktop version everything is ok, but on mobile version with mobile plugin hompage dosen’t have top grid with 3 display post, just says “latest aritcles”. How can I change that?
Hi,
Indeed it seems the mobile theme stylesheet is loaded on desktop. That usually happens because of caching implementation or maybe minification.
The caching that is compatible with the mobile theme would be the WP Super Cache plugin, this will not cause issues with the mobile plugin.
In many cases similar issues are caused by caching, which would have the solution to either use the recommended caching plugin or deactivate the mobile theme plugin. The mobile plugin is optional, one can use the default responsive capabilities of the main theme.
Thanks
Hi Simion,
Thanks for your reply but unfortunately the Subtitle solution doesn’t work, look at the excerpt then: https://ibb.co/e0ESbx. That’s the text of the 1st item on the list, not the Subtitle text.
And if I leave the description out of the H tags then I have it on all pages on the Mobile version: https://ibb.co/hzRqwx
What could be the solution then? I’m surprised to be the 1st one to have this problem (which is very important SEO wise). How do other websites handle the SEO on their smartlist pages?
Thanks
The mobile front page grid will only display posts that are included in the Featured category
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
This is a similar topic where a category is added in the code, so the grid will display only posts from it, if this is what you want to do
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-featured-posts/
Hello Kingx26,
Please check our demo preview on your laptop and tell me if you bring the same results on your website -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ If your results are too different then our demo it means that you have some problems with your website. Maybe you have some untested plugins, additional customizations which break the normal theme behavior on mobile, sorry!
Please let us know how it goes and also, you can provide your website URL for more investigations.
Thanks for the message!
Сделал сам: удалил рубрику “Featured category” и создал заново.
Комментариях в мобильной теме сразу после записи так и не смог сделать
Made by myself: removed the section “Featured category” and re-created.
The reviews for the mobile theme right after the recording was never able to do.
Hi,
We need a description on top of posts that will be used on other parts of the website as well as on Google (if we didn’t specify a meta description). So the 1st paragraph is useful.
But, if we have this 1st paragraph and then start a smartlist with a 1st H tag, then the 1st paragraph remains on top, mostly on the mobile version of Smartlist 2.
I thought I could start with a 1st H tag with this paragraph and then start the list at the 2nd H tag.
But, of course, my top 10 is now a top 11.
Is there a way to skip the count of the first H tag so it still shows as the 1st slide but without any number and then my list starts at 10?
