Hello everybody,
I am using Newspaper 12.6.4. There are two pages which don’t show anything on mobile devices:

The pages are built with the WPBakery Page Builder. I was trying to find the responsive settings but without success.
The start page was built the same way and it works on mobile devices:
Can anybody advise where the mistake is, please?

I actually use WP Rocket whose customer service has helped me really optimize the speed of the site. On this specific element, they have no means of action (especially since the problem only appears on the mobile version). It is for this reason that I am addressing you. I understand, so if there is no difference with default post title style, will need to find a different approach, maybe the problem is related that on mobile the title is on 2 lines and seems to be the largest element at first load.
I made some test locally and seems to can get the problem resolved only if the post title appears on one line, but I think that most of articles display on mobile the title on 2 lines. I also made the same test using a default WordPress theme and the results were similar, but the LCP was smaller (from 4, to 3ms).
Normally if you have a dedicate cache plugin (example WP Rocket) and Cloudflare (CDN), it is possible to be some settings on those that can help to resolve this situation.
I will continue to check and if I find something I will let you know!

Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).

The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

If the cache plugin does not have mobile support, then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead on the desktop and vice versa.

We got a notice about mixed content (https and http). This was the offending URL… http://coinweektest.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/bghd.jpg. I believe it is the Background image for the mobile menu, but it is not in the Theme Panel : Backgrounds: Mobile menu/search background. Also looked through the Style.css file and saw nothing. Anyone have any ideas on where this might be and how to change the URL?

hi, I couldn’t manage the mobile template property, when im using that kind of mobile template the desktop view didn’t adapt property.
So, I need to build two differences parts? one for mobile and other one for desktop?
o how can I active the mobile view and desktop view and how to get and responsive option?

The only plugins running are the tagdiv ones and Jetpack.
Also, it seems to work on mobile, but not desktop.
I tried what you said, and I got it almost working. It looks fine on the desktop view, but the title disappears when I try the tablet and mobile view.

This is case (the problems is on post titles) then I do not think that replace an element with be a solution and the h1 class=tdb-title-text do not have an element that can replace it, it must be find a different solution.
Also is this problem on both mobile and desktop version?
Another recommendation is to make a duplicate for single post template and reset the article post title element to default settings and perform a new test to see if it still making that large LCP.

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
When I try to share an article, I can see that it takes the featured image of your article.

Indeed, now on desktop the featured image are looking better. The situation on mobile is like this because the same image size (thumb) that is used on desktop is also used on mobile, but the module image size is changed to full width.
As a solution I recommend to try the tagDiv mobile theme plugin, this will change the website layout on mobile, but it will make it faster and should also resolve the problem with blur images from mobile – https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/

We have disabled AMP for content that is not displayed in the mobile version, but the ads in the header are not showing in the mobile version. They are displaying correctly in the desktop version. Could you please check this issue? The site URL is https://local.fo/.

Hello, The main problems were. 1) The footer and header were not the same on all pages. Example, in the articles it was different and in the pages too. 2) With the mobile phone you see differently depending on the mobile phone and as if the mobile page is missing. 3) While I share my articles on social platforms, I take the cover logo as an image and not that of the individual post.
I optimized the loading speed of my website. A problem persists only on the mobile version.
I notice a “Largest Contentful Paint” of 4320ms for the title of my page. The google page speed test indicates under the problematic title <span class=”td-pulldown-size”>.
Is there a setting that I could change on the theme to improve the loading speed of this specific point ? I don’t have a mobile page on this page model.

A workaround there could be to use 2 flex block elements: one with 4 and one with 2. Hide the element with 2 on desktop and hide the element with 4 on mobile viewport.

Thank you I removed the code in the AMP Mobile Device setting. I thought AMP was what I needed to do to create mobile pages for my website. Should I be creating mobile pages through Cloud Templates? Is there a setting? Thank you.
