Hi i have some problem with mobile theme because it lost the style for example this categary http://www.sabanetasr.com/category/locales/ doesnt see like the others or the homepage style. Also this post http://www.sabanetasr.com/empresario-se-quita-la-vida-noticia-proceso/ lost the style and i cant see it in the mobile homepage
I have seen many users asking for this useful implementation.
tagDiv, when are you going to implement this into default settings?
@mabrell, you can alter the loop-single.php and add after line 40 this:
<div class="td-module-meta-info"> Last Update: <?php the_modified_date('j F, Y'); ?></div>
It appears under social icons and above the main image. I think is the best solution because if you try to put into the same row with the (publish date, visits counter & comments) on mobile looks pretty bad in two rows. (don’t forget, this modification you will have to do every time you update the theme)
Regards.
Thank you. I had to remove the tagdiv speed booster because it eliminated my Child CSS. I finally got it to work after a lot of trial and error – since no one here would provide any more instructions than “comment it out,” which I couldn’t figure out.
I don’t think it helped my page speed score either. Removing it actually improved my mobile page speed score by 20 points.
Hi there,
now we are using the mobile theme on our websites and are using wp super cache and all recommend settings. But for some reasons sometimes the mobile theme doesn’t load. Instead the mobile version of the Newspaper theme appears. Could you please review the site what is the reason for this failure.
We need to load the mobile theme reliable due to different ads spaces and menus.
Thank all in advance…

Hi guys!
I really don’t understand why my website is so slow… 🙁
My speed booster is active, My site looks so light, I barely install plugins, theres only one adsense banner… I just use TagDiv’s plugins…
I’ve checked your instructions at link: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ ( But no sucess ), my site remains very slow when I check it on Google’s Speed Page.
If you guys can help, I’ll be very grateful.
Best Regards
Hello. In mobile, I cannot click the categories. When I click, nothing happens. Screenshot is here. Any ideas?
Hi,
Need some help on the following please:
1) Sidebar on the homepage pushes down the other block categories:
http://smallcaps.com.au
How can I have it be a normal looking sidebar?
And for mobile to have the sidebar load in-between the end of the content and before the footer?
Here is an image of it pushing down content leaving a big white space:
http://smallcaps.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Sidebar-pushing-content-down-on-homepage.jpg
2) How do I remove the submenu that is the same as the main menu?
http://smallcaps.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Remove-submenu-identical-to-main-menu.jpg
3) How can I reduce the gap in the footer between the social media icons/free newsletter and the copyright section?
http://smallcaps.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Reduce-gap-in-footer.jpg
There is a bit too much black space.
4) In the sidebar the “Follow us on Facebook” part of the widget shows up black. How can I make the heading text white to match the others?
http://smallcaps.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Sidebar-Facebook-text-to-be-white.jpg
Thanks in advance
Hi,
I’d like to add a custom button just beside the search button(I’m using Newspaper Black edition) How can I customize? Currently I’m editing in my child theme the file header-menu-h1.php
this is my code
<div id="td-header-menu" role="navigation">
<div id="td-top-mobile-toggle"><i class="td-icon-font td-icon-mobile"></i></div>
<div class="td-main-menu-logo td-logo-in-menu">
<?php
if (td_util::get_option('tds_logo_menu_upload') == '') {
locate_template('parts/header/logo-h1.php', true, false);
} else {
locate_template('parts/header/logo-mobile-h1.php', true, false);
}?>
</div>
<?php
wp_nav_menu(array(
'theme_location' => 'header-menu',
'menu_class'=> 'sf-menu',
'fallback_cb' => 'td_wp_page_menu',
'walker' => new td_tagdiv_walker_nav_menu()
));
//if no menu
function td_wp_page_menu() {
//this is the default menu
echo '<ul class="sf-menu">';
echo '<li class="menu-item-first">Click here - to select or create a menu';
echo '';
}
?>
</div>
<div class="">
<?php $posts = get_posts('orderby=rand&numberposts=5'); foreach($posts as $post) { ?>
" title="<?php the_title(); ?>"><i class="fa fa-random" aria-hidden="true"></i>
<?php } ?>
</div>
<div class="td-search-wrapper">
<div id="td-top-search">
<!-- Search -->
<div class="header-search-wrap">
<div class="dropdown header-search">
<i class="td-icon-search"></i>
<i class="td-icon-search"></i>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="header-search-wrap">
<div class="dropdown header-search">
<div class="td-drop-down-search" aria-labelledby="td-header-search-button">
<form method="get" class="td-search-form" action="<?php echo esc_url(home_url( '/' )); ?>">
<div role="search" class="td-head-form-search-wrap">
<input id="td-header-search" type="text" value="<?php echo get_search_query(); ?>" name="s" autocomplete="off" /><input class="wpb_button wpb_btn-inverse btn" type="submit" id="td-header-search-top" value="<?php _etd('Search', TD_THEME_NAME)?>" />
</div>
</form>
<div id="td-aj-search"></div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Notice the div before td-search-wrapper div class.
I’m trying to add a random article button beside the search button. But my template is broken after I add a class to the div like this: “td-random-article-wrapper” should I register that class first? I can’t seem to find the documentation for templates?
Thanks
Hi guys
When I press the “search” icon on the top-right corner of my site on a mobile device, the whole content block floats up.
From there I can’t scroll down to see the rest of the homepage. The only things I can do are clicking on the post, and refreshing the page to be able to scroll down again. Please advise me on how to fix this.
Thanks in advance!
Hi! I use WP Super Caché and everything is fine in Desktop but when I write a new post, it doesn’t appear in the home page when I use a phone, althoug I clean caché, clean cookies in the mobile browser, etc… I have to wait one hour or more until it shows the new article.
Anybody knows what could be happening?
Hello, current featured article shown the last 3
how to make it 5 ?
Thanks
Hello,
i would like to know on how to exclude a category on Frontpage’s Latest Article on mobile theme..
Thanks
Hey thanks for getting back to me! Thank you for the tips on coding, I am no coder I am a journalist and a videographer. I will have a look for the css properties, and I was unaware of the adding shrortcodes to the mobile pages. Thank you for your help!
I also did have a question on site speed, what are all of your recommendations for a heavy traffic site?
I have cloudflare but its off at the moment so I can work on it, I have wpsupercache and a dedicated server.
Thank you!
Nate
I will admit, this theme is extremely not easy in terms of editing this block, I’ve spent 2 days trying to do it. I went to:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
and Still cannot see this “block section”… I’ve been to the post side, edit and create, same with pages, it’s simply not there. Do I need to have something on my browser enabled? cause I suppose I’m just blind, on your guide #1 of solution #2 I do not have that + sign.
even if I click classic mode it just removes the word “mobile editor”
Exactly how do you comment out code? Is this it? Please don’t screenshot – send me something I can copy and paste. Thanks.

Hello,
The page-level ad needs a custom implementation as this topic suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/page-level-ads-problems/ however if you use the mobile theme you need to implement it in the mobile header.php as it;s a different file. We have not tested the page-level ads with our theme so I cannot say for sure they will actually work in the mobile theme. This fluctuation you mention could be the result of another issue that affects wp super cache and the latest version of wordpress: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-does-not-work-properly/
Pleas provide an example of what type of ad is in the article inline ad spot and provide a link to your site so we can inspect it.
Thank you!
Hi,
This is a common misconception our users seem to have. Our theme is already responsive and does not require the mobile theme to display properly on mobile devices. This is an entirely optional plugin.
Thank you!
Hey guys,
For the past month, my article inline ad is not appearing. I have it enabled and no size settings are implemented. As a result on the desktop version, 2 google ads are shown (article top and sidebar). While on mobile both of these appear also alongside a page-level ad. How can I fix this?
Ideally I want the ads to appear as follows:
Desktop – Top, inline, sidebar
Mobile – top, inline, page-level
This is how they were appearing briefly a moth or so ago.
One other problem with the ads is:
Often the page-level ad does not show up on mobile. Sometimes it appears when viewed through facebook and other times it only shows up on a browser. Any ideas?
Could the page level ad be affecting the inline ad?
Thanks so much!
Hello,
The mega-menu sub-categories will appear in the mobile menu as sub-menus. We added compatibility between the mega menu and the mobile theme but page menus will not show up on mobile. Sorry. We have no solution to provide for a page menu in the mobile menu. You can have a different mobile menu if you use the mobile theme plugin and create your own mobile version of the menu: http://screencast.com/t/Piq3zPra
As for the other content, please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/mobile+theme/
Thank you!
Hello,
It seems your code is working to some extent, but some rules are wrong. There is no such thing as position: left;, the line-height: .5; needs a dimension in pixels is the most common use for it, etc. Please do a google search for these css proprieties and see what values these can accept.
The second css selector is wrong as well: blockquote cite What is cite? is it a class? and id? If it;s a class you need to add it with a dot in front or if it;s an id with a # in front.
On the mobile heme you can add shortcodes in the mobile theme editor on pages and insiode the post content for posts. please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
I hope this helps.
Thanks
Hello DeRothschild,
Unfortunately, our mobile theme has not been designed to be modified from the Theme panel, sorry! Please notice that this plugin has been made to have a simplistic structure just to be more useful to use and very fast. If you want to develop this plugin, you will have to alter the code from the front-page.php core file from this -> http://screencast.com/t/3kKOhca2a Please notice that is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
All the custom CSS which you want to be applied for your Mobile Theme you should add in this area, here -> http://screencast.com/t/HJtxRLlkoDR If you have a caching plugin, in order to achieve best results, try to clear all of your caches and test it again.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
I want to know how can I turn off repetition of posts on the mobile theme. On my homepage – http://fintechroundup.com/ in the mobile version we have the three articles at the top which are marked as featured, but they then show in the latest articles below as well. I want them to only show in the top three articles at the top to avoid duplicate posts.
Thanks!
Simply disabling the mobile theme plugin is working fine on Mobile devices as expected.
Also the following note from the guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ helped me to understand it better.
If you want to display the same elements on both mobile and desktop, don’t use the mobile theme, the main theme is already capable of this with it’s responsive design for mobiles.
Thanks.
Ok Thank you.
Another question..
If i disable the Mobile version and on main MENU i use SUB MENU as PAGE ID than i wont be able to see the Sub Menus on Mobile version properly unless i also add the sub menu under parent menu.. tho in this case i will have two SUBMENUS displayed on DEsktop version.. is there a way i can display proper SUB menu on mobile responsive version ?? and have PAGE ID For SUB MENU in mega menu for desktop?
Also Is there a way to predefine other content for mobile version.. ??
Hello jan,
The menu items are positioned based on the header style that you use. Please choose another header style that has a centered menu if this is what you are after: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
If you want to hide the logo, then simply do not add any instead of adding a logo and removing it with css: http://screencast.com/t/UbSeTh81lB8p The sticky menu can use the mobile logo: http://screencast.com/t/8U08kDtW
Thank you!
