Hi there.. Recently I am seeing some issues relating to some posts and some browsers.. At random.. For example, both the desktop and mobile were showing the article incorrectly.. But now it is fine and I didn’t do or change anything or clear cache or anything, but certain posts (no pattern) seems to alter the page views.. any ideas..?? I have not customised this article (https://www.shippingandfreightresource.com/navigating-new-logistical-pathways-on-the-china-europe-freight-corridor/) in any way..
This is how it looked on desktop
Normally it should look like this on desktop
This is how it looked on mobile
This is how it looks on Mobile
Can you advise what may be the issue..??

Hello,
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Also, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/
Thank you!
*Correction in Part 1: But it looks like you missed to enable Theme panel > Post Settings > Enable Lazy Video on Mobile? That is where the issue is happening.

Alex.
Part 3:
– Now, the task to solve, is how to exclude “img” only for lazy video on mobile, such as youtube, while keeping it aggregated for every other img element on the page?
Thank you.
Part 2:
I think I figured out what is wrong with the theme:
When “Aggregate inline css” is enabled either via theme panel or via Autoptimise settings – the element “img” losses its styling, which is:
img
position: absolute;
width: 100%;
top: 0;
margin: auto;
This img is applied here: img src=” http://img.youtube.com/vi/video-id/maxresdefault.jpg ” alt=”VIDEO TITLE”
As a result, when “width: 100%” is missing, the video thumbnail is displayed full width of an image file (1280 px wide for example) instead of 100% of a view port width.
To solve this for lazy video on mobile to work properly, “img” needs to be excluded by being placed in the filed “Exclude CSS from Autoptimize:”
Can you replicate all this?
Hi @Calin,
Thank you for checking.
Part 1:
Yes, that’s the plugins and settings we use, except for optimise HTML code, as it is not included in your guide.
But it looks like you missed to enable Theme panel > Post Settings > Enable Video on Mobile? That is where the issue is happening.
Looks like you confused it with Block Settings > Use loading animation image. This can be disabled when Ewww is used.
Dear all
For the last 2-3 weeks we got a problem with the mobile menu.
Please check it out: https://www.planet-mexiko.com/
When opening one of the 6 main menu points to see the submenus, those links of the submenus are not all clickable. Usually only the top 2-3 ones… the following submenus further down do not react.
For example try: Reiseziele > Zentralmexiko >
For example are the states “Colima”, “Estado de México” and “Guanajuato” clickable. But the rest of the states are not, there is no reaction, nothing happens.
And when the submenu is bigger than the mobile screen, it can not be scrolled down to show everything, as it used to. So in this example we cannot see all the states.
Any idea what can be done?
Thank you so much.
good afternoon, I couldn’t manage the mobile theme, I bought your theme because see awesome on mobile theme but I could not setup it. could you please show me how to do it, thank you
Hi,
I made a test, and it works only with the SEO plugin for the mobile themes.
Thank you!
Hi,
This is available for mobile responsive and mobile templates if you want it.
Thank you!
Hello:
My mobile menu doesn’t work and no any error message showed in console (developer toolbar). I have no idea how to fix it, could you help me?
Website: https://www.soft4fun.net/
Thanks a lot!
Hi,
It seems that using only amp or amp with the mobile theme, although the element of breadcrumbs appears on the page, is not in the scheme. Unfortunately, for the moment, this situation can only be corrected with an SEO plugin, because this element is not added either by amp or by the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
I am using the Mobile Theme and I have breadcrumb activated in the Theme Panel Settings Page but when I checked my article using Google Rich Snippet, Breadcrumb only shows on Desktop and not on mobile.
Breadcrumb Activated For Mobile – https://prnt.sc/0PaVew8mMYvg
Breadcrumb Showing for desktop – https://prnt.sc/W1ILtyDIApUp
Breadcrumb not showing on Mobile Rich Snippet – https://prnt.sc/xG2StHFlO05V
My site is blogthetech.com
I’ve put two shortcodes from the Advanced Ads plugin in the custom ad code field in the Ad Box element, one for desktop and the other for mobile. (The plugin is set up to show the corresponding ad for each device.)
This is how they appear:
[the_ad_placement id=”leaderboard”]
[the_ad_placement id=”leaderboard-mobile”]
It looks a bit sketchy to me but it appears to be working. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Hi Bettina,
Try to change the theme?
The issue seems to be with the newspaper theme’s features: Aggregate inline css and lazy video on mobile.
You didn’t try to replicate the issue, did you?
Can you please get Calin to review this thread? It was addressed to him.
From experience: Generally after a few messages with other members from your team with zero result, he finally takes a look and provides a fairly comprehensive answer and acknowledges whether there is in fact issue with the theme or not.
Thanks.
Halo, We tried all that, of course. It’s interesting that you say it doesn’t happen here. I have tried on several devices and on Google Chrome and Safari the problem is there. After installing on version lower 12.6.1. the problem is not – you can now seen on sports24.cz. Can you please send me a video of your test mobile device?
Hi,
I see that your website is under construction, so I can’t check it. Can you please check when you edit the page and select the mobile viewport to see if the design is the same?
Also, Have you recently updated your plugins, theme, WordPress, php? Have you checked for a plugin conflict? Please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; also, if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache, and try again.
Thank you!
Hi Megan,
Yes, it seems this option is enabled only when you have the tagDiv Standard pack plugin. A workaround is to use header live search and customize it for mobile.
Thank you!
Hi,
A workaround can be to create a page where you can create your own mobile menu with the element you want and create more menus to be able to set a separator. After you create the page, you can set it in modal popup -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/ https://i.imgur.com/NekfZW3.png
Thank you!
We get error in top header after little scrolling. Looks like it appeared after latest update.
Site URL: regionmonitor.am
Error message:
Warning: Undefined variable $header_logo_image_size in /wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-mobile.php on line 59
Thanks, Anamaria,
For excerpts, there isn’t a mobile option (nor the one you pointed out “module mx2”). Three options are present: slider module, mega menu module and trending now module.
Everything else works, thank you!
Megan
Is there a way to add a separator line in between certain groups of links in a mobile menu? I have five or so links, some with sublinks, then I want a separator line, followed by two more links.
Why is my website arrangement going to be like this in mobile view ?
1.Is due to prebuilt website theme.
2. I did not activate the Div Mobile Theme tag, but the order is not responsive according to the mobile display ?
What exactly is the problem?
