Hello @gcamara!

Please follow the video to see where you can find and build your sticky header on mobile and desktop too: https://www.screencast.com/t/l6v2Belt
Also, it can be the whole row set as sticky.

Thank you!

Hello Betty!

You can only modify the footer with TagDiv Composer if you go to a page where it is assigned and edit that page with TagDiv Composer, and then you will have access to the footer also. For example, edit your homepage with TagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on footer zone and you can edit it.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.

Thank you!

Hi,

Thanks for your help! I have disabled that option, and followed the steps indicated in the article, but the issue still can’t be fixed. The images appear blank and take around 10 seconds to load (specially on mobile).

Thank you,

Núria

Hi

I have a tested clean site to test things, so I installed pulse pro and check its header and how its menu is working flawlessly in mobile and desktop being sticky. I am trying to find replicate this in a production site, but there is no evidence (no row, no inner, no element, no theme panel) where sticky is checked for default template of pulse pro demo site.

So my question is, where is this sticky checked option?

Best regards

Dear Team,

I am trying to find the right place to edit the mobile footer on my page Mundgefuehl.
TagDiv composer tells me that I should use a cloud template, but I do not have a separate mobile footer template installed. In the Newspaper Theme panel I see only the reference to the Rimont footer template, but this gives me only the desktop version and not mobile.

Many thanks for your support
Betty

hmmm can you explain how your mobile theme work if this is impossible?

Hello,

Did you disable the mobile theme for homepage?
Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, please let me know what plugin for the cache you use now.
I hope this helps.

Thank you!

I’m trying to get the Mobile Theme set up on my website (www.frontporchrepublic.com), and it works well if I’m logged into WordPress. For everyone else, though, it doesn’t show up.

Screenshot when I’m logged in: https://grovecitycollege-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/g/personal/bilbrojl_gcc_edu/EbEaeE-K6OhKjDSPkSZ3qZcBbeDSWVm0T75OUqNdsrpV2w?e=zsjVdt

Any idea what settings might be causing this?

Hi,

To change the font and color for the mobile menu please go to Theme Panel -> Theme Colors -> Mobile menu/mobile search => https://www.screencast.com/t/0CvSgXp9H to set a background image go in Theme Panel -> Background -> Mobile menu/mobile search => https://www.screencast.com/t/uvDejzbX to change the font from Theme Fonts => https://www.screencast.com/t/ANBQe7hQhJd

Thank you!

Hi,

Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

Hello, is it possible to keep the same display of the home page in mobile version as when AMP activated? In summary, I want to deactivate AMP (which give me a problem for Google SEO), but keep the visual of the home page which is much prettier than the simple mobile version.
Thanks very much for help

Hi all,

I pulled a few hairs out this morning by fixing all my menus on my website https://wanderinparadise.com/ to all device sizes and get rid of account login etc. But, I have this one thing that makes me want to throw out the computer from the window. I tried everything, even those that worked on the other menus. But tagDiv is very stubborn today! So please help me!

How do I fix my sticky mobile menu? It became transparent and had to be white. Usually, it’s changing the background to white, but apparently, for this menu, there are other rules argh.

For mobile it’s fine, but for the tablet (vertical/see image) it’s causing problems.

Who can help me out? No idea how to add an image to show the problem.

Merci

does anyone know why such a strange situation has now appeared:

empty fields in images in the incognito browser.

However, in my one (in my desktop computer) it shows normally, but with an error in the image:
“FORCED TO WRONG SIZE 196X126, NATURAL SIZE IS: 300X194”
https://prnt.sc/Jn3_dic_OYyX
This is the BLOCK 16

and inthe incognito browser there is:
https://cdn.djpromotion.com.pl/wp-media-folder-dj-raport/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/newsmag_1812.jpg

Here is not the same BLOCK 16 , but something different.

On the mobile devices looks fine.

Thanks

I want to change the background of the mobile menu page. (the menu that appears when you tap the mobile menu icon)
I tried the css options in tagdiv under row -> column -> Mobile menu but they (border, background etc) affect the menu icon itself, and not the sliding menu that appears when using the icon. Where/how can I edit the rollout menu itself?

@Anamaria:
I had to do a manual website restoration to get old theme panel settings, copy/paste them, then restore again and paste the theme panel settings there to return the website to how it was. The problem is, the mobile version is still broken even after restoring a Theme Panel backup. My mobile templates don’t look like the ones I had before even after a complete restore.

@Being smart:
And anyone with same issue, go to Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Import/Export and restore one of the backups under “Theme Panel Settings Backup”. Just make sure if the website breaks not to do any tagdiv changes, or those 5 exports will be overwritten, in that case you will have to rollback an old backup of the entire website to get the old exports.

Yes I saw tha document. My single CPT template doesn’t show the Mobile Page option at the top as described in the article. I have some other normal pages and they do show the mobile option. I thought perhaps it doesn’t work with CPTs?
