Hello,

Please let me know what prebuilt website you have installed.
If you install a Pro Prebuilt Website the changes from the Theme Panel will not apply, (only some settings) to change the color on block/post you can edit with tagDiv Composer -> https://prnt.sc/10grx77, select the block/post and in Style, you can change the color => https://www.screencast.com/t/sUE7ug4UIAR5 also, after you can copy the style and paste it -> https://i.imgur.com/WCHxXlr.png
Also, the settings from the theme panel are saved? if not, then please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-theme-panel-settings-are-not-being-saved/ and try the suggestions.
you can edit the mobile menu from Manager (Website Manager) -> mobile menu/sticky -> https://i.imgur.com/6wgVHk8.png and you can set the color on the row in the tab CSS -> https://i.imgur.com/xFvADzW.png

Thank you!

Dear Calin,
Thanks for your support but actually what I was looking is for mobile theme option. I believe the option what you shared will work on mobile view of a page but not for mobile theme setting.

I have a website which uses the Gossip cloud template.

When I use my pc to view the page https://nextlevelonlinemedia.com/ everything looks good but…

When I view the same link on my phone it shows the word GOSSIP in big letters at the top left corner.

Not sure why that is showing on phone but not pc?

Thank you!

That was exactly the settings I did and it didn’t show transparent. I even try to check again to confirm the settings and still the same thing. It is slightly transparent only on scroll. And I set transparent for both sticky and mobile header. Any way out now?

I put the relevant Adsense code in the Mobile Theme plugin settings three days ago and I’m still not seeing ads on the AMP version of my site. Can you please help? My website is http://www.cookoutnews.com

Hello @ladlabaloch!

AMP is faster and works better only with Mobile Theme plugin. If you’ll use Mobile theme plugin, then you can not edit the pages with TagDiv Composer.
You have only some settings for this layout, which you can find in Theme panel -> Mobile Theme. The same thing for AMP plugin too.
If you really want to change the way it’s working and looking, then this will require custom work which is not covered by the support team.

Thank you!

Hello Jaro!

If you use the responsive version, then it should work well. But, if you use mobile pages or the Mobile Theme plugin, then this option won’t work. Please try on your mobile phone. Also, deactivate the cache plugin and try again in an incognito tab.
From what I can see, you have different font on your mobile version than desktop version.

Thank you!

Hello,

i made a news frontpage for my website 4kfilme.de. When im logged in on pc (dev mode) or on a mobile device (iPhone 11 and Galaxy A51), if i open the main page, i will get the mobile version. Everything fine. But when im logged out, or people from outside join my site from a mobile device, the desktop-version is shown. The placement of the ads, the headlines (example video on the left and not center) are different and so on. I can’t get the mobile page running. I tried pretty much everything. I purged the opcache, i purged the wp rocket cache couple of times. i deactivated wp rocket completely, just to see, if this could be the problem.

https://ibb.co/nP49pHf (logged out the desktop version appears)
https://ibb.co/GcHRGyq (logged the right mobile version appears)

https://ibb.co/fx2xMsc (New site is active and mobile version is connected)

when I import the settings in the theme panel, all the category, footer, header, etc.. templates in theme panel change to no-template or theme-template instead of relevant cloud template, as well as menus (no-menu) both in the header and footer and in the mobile section in the theme panel, tell me how to fix it or please include fix in the next release

Thank you Bettina,

Yes, I know the documentation:
1. Establish if you want to enable/disable the Google Fonts for the whole website. If you disable this option, the website will load the fonts founded in the system.
2. Enable/disable the usage of the Google fonts on mobile devices -from here you can decide to not show the Google fonts on your mobile website version.

However, my problem is – I want to have google font of my choice on desktop and general font family (as per the newspaper) on mobile. And the question is – does it work when enabling google fonts in USE GOOGLE FONTS and disable USE GOOGLE FONTS ON MOBILE.
When I do that the situation is as per my previous explanation. Unless I misunderstand it.

Hi,

I have an issue reg. google fonts on mobile. When I disable this option (google f. option) in control panel for Newsmagazine, I can still see this same font on mobile (of course after purging cache and cleraing google history on mobile) as per desktop, furthermore the google fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) are still visible and slowing page (as per google page speed snippet).
The only chance, as I see, to eliminate google fonts is to disable them for desktop and mobile. Is it right? I would really appreciate to have right font on desktop and custom (newsmag) on mobile to optimize the page speed for mobile.

My page rehef.pl

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Jaro

Hi avadoweb,
You can use the mobile theme plugin. Is not a problem, but when you are using the mobile theme plugin, this need to be set apart from the rest of the website. This includes menu links, logo… For this you can check our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you disable the mobile theme plugin, the will be used the responsive version of the theme.
Also, we have a video tutorial that can help you -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!

Hello @denya!

If you edit a mobile page with the TagDiv Composer, then you can see the mobile header or footer in the Website Manager.
You can see all the menus in the Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus.
Abut drafts, I will add this issue in our improvement list.

Thank you for understanding!

The menu still shows black and white background on the page after setting it transparent in theme panel. Or can’t the top menu be transparent for mobile devices because I noticed it doesn’t on tagdiv page (https://tagdiv.com/portfolio/iflow-web-developement-design-project/) when using mobile to check. Pls I think you should look into this in next update.

Note: I am not using the tagdiv mobile plugin.
Thanks.

Hello,

You don’t have the viewport for desktop because you edit a mobile page -> https://i.imgur.com/F2j5Hco.png
So, you need to edit the desktop page -> https://i.imgur.com/xlVFN1L.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Q5RMTV6.png
Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.

Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ and you can ask us here on the forum if you have any questions.

Thank you!

I’m trying to edit the layout of a page, but I only see mobile options under the viewport (https://monosnap.com/file/baYiBR5QfRT4fjOem0HCTDRgjOtEoz).

Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

What’s the best practice for editing the layout of a page, ensuring it looks good on all different devices?

Thanks,

GT

I have just purchased this nice them (hoping to take advantage of its said SEO/Mobile/Amp compatibility). However it did not work for me. I installed and imported template for the theme of choice News11Paper, but couldn’t get it to look like the demo – AT ALL. I expected this to be easy but not. Could I get support on this? I don’t mind paying a token for the expert at your company to install and make it work, please!

Hi there.
I’m unable to add image logo.
Added in the theme settings at first but it was really small with big Pulses Pro text.
So I started to edit the header, but even though I have the ‘Show Image’ selected to SHOW, it’s not showing anything.

http://prntscr.com/X0K4mE5fFUfk

When I click to show the text (TEST) it’s workign just fine

On the mobile on the other hand it’s showing the logo with some text

http://prntscr.com/28BcKpKZbpxo

Why is this happening?
Can you help?

Hi,

The mobile menu is not really recommended to use on the desktop, but if you want please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/can-i-create-side-panel-using-menu-button-in-my-desktop-version/
Also, for menu transparent, you need t set the transparency from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Theme colors -> Mobile menu -> Background Gradient color: https://i.imgur.com/FDspVys.png

Thank you!

I can’t figure out where I can edit and view my drafts?
There are no drafts, no mobile menu, no mobile footer.

Hi,

For logo size for desktop we recommend using is 272 x 90px, and for mobile 140 x 48px, but the logo can be edited with tagDiv Composer and you can set the logo size => https://www.screencast.com/t/Q49YDqYM -> https://www.screencast.com/t/8xupUNEjSS3https://i.imgur.com/hAU7jre.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/

Thank you!
