Hi muktipolice,
Did you test the amp without the mobile theme plugin or with the mobile theme plugin.
If was only the amp, then it is possible to be some problems, but if you are suing it with the mobile theme plugin should work correctly.
In case that you want to try some other amp plugins, you can try some of those -> https://themegrill.com/blog/best-wordpress-amp-plugins/
Thank you!

Hello Anamaria,

The versions are 11.4.1 of newspaper with magazine PRO Demo installed (as basic foundation of site), and 5.9.1 of wp.
No mobile theme activated.

Have deactivated all plugins a part from the ones that comes with theme.

Still no luck, the “add feature image” box in sidebar is still missing, but is there if I use my android phone to log in to admin and continue with post….

I am lost, have no clue as to why this is happen. And this feature has gone missing for all of us editors (5 of us)

Hi,
Excuse me but I have big problems with this template. Working between the desktop version and the mobile version is too complex.

Now I don’t want a different template for the mobile version but I would like the same desktop template also in the mobile version without having to manage two templates separately.

I would like to manage only one and be sure that any changes I make, then you will find them on both desktop and mobile. How do I get this configuration I ask for?

thanks so much

Hi. I wasn’t able to solve the problem although i have read more topics and followed your instructions.
I have attached a few links with screenshots from my website, maybe it will help to find out what the issues are
https://ibb.co/JBgqQky – in this image tagDiv Mobile Theme is activated and the screenshot is from page About Us (page content is in romanian)
https://ibb.co/4Tr9j1B – in this image the plugin tagDiv Mobile Theme is deactivated and the screenshot is from page About Us (page content is displaying good, but the header doesn’t show burger menu as it displays on home page)
https://ibb.co/qncDZ7q – screenshot from home page where the burger menu displays and works fine
https://ibb.co/4THtGsv – this is how footer should look like on mobile (here the plugin tagDiv Mobile is deactivated)
https://ibb.co/MgvvL56mobile footer after i activate the plugin tagDiv Mobile
https://ibb.co/qjc9LgG – theme requirements
I also have deactivated all plugins except the ones from theme and it didn’t help. I have no cache plugin on my website.

Hello, we are having lately strange issues with how the single posts are displayed.

We use Cloud templates to define looks, different for desktop and mobile. Its very important for us to have that, because we show different ads on desktop and mobile.
The issue is that on latest posts its all mixed up. Mobile templates shows on both, desk and mobile, but even on mobile its not displayed properly.
For instance this post is displayed correctly:
https://uspesnazena.com/korisni-saveti-zene/mihail-labkovski-kako-se-formira-nisko-samopostovanje/
but this recent two not:
https://uspesnazena.com/mudre-misli/eto-i-ovoga-puta-nisam-se-udala/
https://uspesnazena.com/vase-price/zena-i-njena-torba-u-cemu-je-misterija-zenske-torbe/
Please help, we are having serious loss ads income.

Also we use caching plugin that is recommended, but still images are very slow, could you recommend how we can speedup this?

And last but not the least, recently we have to modify css because suddenly FB button (top right sidebar) disappear, with this line: .facebook-like-page .td-element-style {position: relative !important;}

Thank you in advance.
Best regards

Hello Henrik,

Please let me know what version of the theme you have and what WordPress.
Also, did you use the mobile theme plugin?
Also, have you checked for a plugin conflict?

Hi tw144,
That situation appear because the mobile width is small and the space allocate for the woo product is to small.
What you can do is to set on mobile to display 1 or 2 elements per row, this can be done using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/v1JKmvB.png
I hope this will help you!

Hi michaeldef,
If you are using the responsive version of the theme, then the mobile font size can be set using tagDiv Composer, edit the single post template and set the mobile view port -> https://i.imgur.com/QrCGzn5.png then select the elements where you want to change the font size -> https://i.imgur.com/eQ0DcUO.png
I hope this will help you!

Hello,

I have multiple support requests:

1. How to off animations of slide-menu, slide-search, sign in / login? (No animation time is more user-friendly)
2. Featured image shows as landscape on desktop but portrait on mobile, how to fix this?
3. How to set featured image lightbox?
4. How to change copyright text of ‘Publication Pro’ footer? (I can’t change it via Composer)

Hi everyone,

My issue is this: When you start a new post/article on site. Everything loads up and you can start to write your post, but for some reason the block with “Add feature image to post” that used to be on the sidebar in Gutenberg editor, this block is missing and I have not seen any solution to add it back in?

Have tried adding following code to functions but without any luck:
// Add theme support for Featured Images
add_theme_support(‘post-thumbnails’, array(
‘post’,
‘page’,
‘custom-post-type-name’,
));

This code is also listed in functions but for some reason its gone now.

Anyone else having this issue? it has been going on for some time now. The strange thing is that if you log in by mobile phone, you get this option, but not if you sit at a computer?

Is it a theme related issue? or a wp issue?

Been searching but have not found any solution…
We are several editors writing, and we all have the same issue. So its not only me and my computer either.

Hope that anyone here can help/guide me in right direction, this need to be sorted.

Kind Regards,
Henrik

How to add Google Analytics Code in the Mobile theme of newspaper?

I am trying a lot to add this code but unable to find any option.

So that’s what I was doing before, but the problem is that for the mobile theme, the only things that change are the “Font family” and the “Style.” The font still stays all bolded in blockquotes. What I would like is if I bold certain words in a blockquote, it doesn’t resemble the rest of the text like it does now on mobile. Is that possible?

I am using “Woo Product Block” on my front page. It works fine for desktop but for mobile phones the “Add to cart” button looks very strange:

What to do?

Thanks! I solved the problem because the AMP plugin redirects the mobile devices to AMP. I just turned off the redirect.

Hello @Webdinasty!

If you do not want to use the Mobile Theme, then you can uninstall it.
When you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.

Thank you!

Hello,

What I want to do is apply a general/universal modifications to how blockquotes appear on the mobile theme. Is that possible? I thought that the “mobile editor” was the section I could access in the Theme Panel, however that does not seem to be the case. How do I apply a generalized change for any future blockquotes on my website pages on mobile?
