Hi there,
I’m experiencing an issue with my website where the layout appears extremely narrow when viewed on a desktop browser. It looks almost like a mobile view, even though I’m on a full-size screen.
I’ve inspected the source and noticed that the page is being rendered very narrowly, which seems unusual.
Could you please help me figure out what’s causing this behavior? The page in question is:

Thanks in advance for your support!

Hi.
The header now looks ok there is no red magnifying glass – https://i.imgur.com/Li5XCm0.png but what you need to do now is to edit the header for mobile version. Use the tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/JFGPwSm.png – select any element and after that in left sidebar set the mobile viewport – then you can edit the elements from mobile menu zone – https://i.imgur.com/QHLv7IP.png
I’ve set the aspect ratio to 696×0 for mobile, but the image appears full size. Why isn’t it appearing at 696×0? I need your answer. I’m also using a responsive theme for mobile, but it still doesn’t work.

Hi,
If you want to can use different featured images size per view port, then you need to use the single post template with single post template background or you should use a mobile page template where to set a different size on mobile for the featured image. https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Thank you!
Hi,
The heading elements can be display from header section, content section and footer section, so if the tool display an H then this exists on one of the mentioned sections on that page were the tool has been used. It is possible the element to be hidden on desktop and display only on mobile.
Thank you!

Newspaper theme.
Wanted to edited the theme panel re: mobile site and when I click save settings it doesn’t finish processing.
Additional information: There is no problem in the desktop version, I only encounter this problem in the mobile version.

Hello,
Even though I set the Featured image size for mobile to 696×0, the image is displayed in full size because I turned off the retina feature. (1536×1024)
How do I fix this problem?
Website: https://masalokurum.com/
Thank you!
Hi,
I think you may have solved the problem in the meantime, because the website looks fine now on mobile.
By default the content you see on mobile is the same one from desktop, the responsive version. This changes however if you activate the mobile theme and/or the AMP plugins https://prnt.sc/9UGTQQHkYMBO These are optional.
In case there are further issues please let me know.
Thanks.
here is a link to a photo showing the ads that wont go away. I see them on desktop, mobile, etc. they’re always there and need to go away. I can’t access them from the TagDiv editor, the element’s details are hidden somehow.
Upon further investigation it looks like the mobile view only comes when a menu item is selected from the slide out menu, if the same link is selected on a web page it looks fine.
Hello is there away to disable the mobile version of the theme for my site – https://chicagobuzz.net/ ? It looks fine on the mobile phone when the theme is resized but I noticed there was an option to click on the mobile theme. I clicked on it on mobile option and the site looks terrible. I would like to disable this.
Thanks
Hi,
I see that you are using the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin, if you want to have the same layout and articles as on desktop, please disable the plugin and clear all cache.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no system like the one you mentioned in our theme, on desktop will work with mouse and on mobile an tablets with touch, this is the only way!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
What I can recommend is to use a popup and create a page with a search in it (like the one from desktop) set the page in popup and use the popup as mobile search. For example the mobile menu from this demo – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_towntalk_pro/ is a popup element.
Thank you!
Hi,
For this you can use the settings from The theme Panel > Theme Colors > Mobile Menu / Mobile Search -https://i.imgur.com/V2YnDe9.png
I hope this will help you!
I would like to change the css for mobile only. How?
Hi can’t find a way to change the header background in mobile.
How to?
I just re-sent the email to contact@tagdiv.com with the subject:
“Mobile Theme loads on tablet – temporary wp-admin access provided”
Thanks a lot in advance! 😊
Peter
The only thing that works is disabling the mobile search in the theme panel — but then it doesn’t work on mobile anymore either.
Okay, I don’t think it’s in the register/login section after all, but I don’t know where it is. I completely removed the search function from the mobile menu, but it’s still in the code. I have no idea where it’s coming from.
Alright thx, i just deleted the search form from the mobile menu and it turned out that the missing form label seemes to be in the register/login section that is deactivated:
<!– register/login section –>
</div><div class=”td-search-background” style=”visibility:hidden”></div>
<div class=”td-search-wrap-mob” style=”visibility:hidden”>
<div class=”td-drop-down-search”>
<form method=”get” class=”td-search-form” action=”https://raiffeisenzeitung.at/”>
<!– close button –>
<div class=”td-search-close”>
<span><i class=”td-icon-close-mobile”></i></span>
</div>
<div role=”search” class=”td-search-input”>
<span>Suche</span>
<input id=”td-header-search-mob” type=”text” value=”” name=”s” autocomplete=”off” />
</div>
</form>
<div id=”td-aj-search-mob” class=”td-ajax-search-flex”></div>
</div>
</div>
How can we completly remove it / solve the issue?
All the best,
Daniel
