Hello,

I have optimized my website and seem to be getting problems with the following pages on mobile.

https://fightersvault.com/muay-thai-shin-guards/
https://fightersvault.com/ultimate-guide-pick-the-best-bjj-gi-for-beginners/
https://fightersvault.com/best-mma-gloves-for-beginners/

On mobile, the following pages will not load.

All of the above pages load quickly on desktop.

The bar at the top stays halfway and doesn’t move. It’s just these pages on my site.

Can you see what the issue is?

Many Thanks,
Gareth

Thank you. I use a mobile theme and AMP.

I had looked at other sites using the same theme. And I viewed sidebar in their mobile version. So you say they don’t use mobile themes.

Then let me ask like this:

I will continue to use a mobile theme. And in the mobile theme, in the post, there is only the text of the text and the “related content” section.

How can we put extra sections apart from these?

I seen the convert to mobile option – does that keep the original file for the desktop?

Hi @Amit-2

1.) Thanks for your help. I am now using WP Rocket.
WP Rocket recommends imagify to me. Can you say something about this?
I always compress my images myself to the appropriate size. Does the plugin then still make sense?

2.) I have heard that Cloudflare is unnecessary if you have a national site. Without visitors from other sites. What is your opinion on this?

3.) Thank you!

4.) Thank you. I will try WP Sweep.

5.) Ok Thanks.

6.) Ok thank you. Hope too 🙂

7.) Style.css from the child theme only affects the desktop template, right?
The mobile theme remains unaffected? Is there a .css file in child theme for mobile template?

I have created 4 pages for my blog: mediakit, über uns, impressum and blogroll. But none of them is showing up in the mobile version or amp version. I just see the breadcrumps and the title but no content. Also the meta description for that pages is missing. In the desktop version the meta description is loaded… AMP and mobile is activated. What is the problem?

Hello !

Please check if you have installed Mobile Theme plugin, then uninstall it and see if the problem is still there.
If you don’t have Mobile Theme installed then you can create or upload your header and footer like I explained in this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-footer-edit/

Thank you !

Hi Spontis, the mobile menu for mobile page is working for me -> http://www.filedropper.com/0ba5398e-06b4-4726-9fa6-65e05777107e and I’m using the last theme version, Newspaper v10.3.9.1 with WP 5.6.
Just make sure that you cleared all cache and you do not have any plugins that can interfere with theme options.
How can i delete the Mobile Page? if this is set on the page, then you need to delete it from thresh to be remove totally, this measure was set because is possible to delete the mobile page, but you want to get it back.
The best option is that first to set another mobile page or set it to no mobile page -> https://i.imgur.com/8jxXq9U.jpg
Thank you!

Hi Vlad S,

Thanks for feedback.

I don’t think you understand.

The plugin folder also needs to be updated, and this folder does not provide the modified files in folder plugins, I have to always update.

And it is in the plugins folder that one can make changes to the theme.

For example, if I want to make changes and add lines in loop-single.php, I have to change in plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper and plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php

But with the updates, you require me to delete plugins and reupload folder 0 and have to apply the modifications again without knowing if it was even necessary to redo all this procedure, because I do not know which files were updated in plugins.

Hello !

You can create your sidebar using tagDiv Composer if you use cloud library templates: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU&t=1s

On mobile you can achieve that using theme panel – Ads – Footer Ads.

Thank you !

Hi,

If the mobile theme is active https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/ the sidebars will indeed not be displayed, only the content.

The mobile theme uses it’s own templates, and the post template it uses at this time does not display the sidebar of the post. Maybe there will be modifications made in this matter, remains to be seen.

If you are not using the mobile theme, then please provide a link to the website, so we can take a look at a post page on mobile.

Thank you!

Hi,
Yes, that template has a responsive version for mobile.
Also I checked your website and you are using the responsive version as you mentioned -> https://i.imgur.com/C8F8gy3.png and you are using the mobile theme plugin with the amp option -> https://i.imgur.com/9kvxokC.png to be use only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/a1FhqA5.png
Thank you!

Hello!

Unfortunately for Mobile Theme there is no option to change the Category Tag Background & Text Color, only if you use custom code css and put the code in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme -> Custom code.

Thank you!

Hello!

From what you describe it seems you have installed Mobile theme plugin. If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hello!

It seems you use mobile pages and you need to create a new header and footer template and you can introduce them by accessing Website Manager like here: https://www.screencast.com/t/QCWzdv0zT3ue
Also you can create a footer menu for your page like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/venQFKe0
Hope that helps you!

Hi,
If you are using the responsive version, then you can use tagdiv Composer to set an empty space or a margin on header -> https://i.imgur.com/OqEuZ46.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/498OcoJ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/ItWpnM4.png -> https://i.imgur.com/CHx2sWa.png
Right now I see that you are using the mobile theme plugin https://i.imgur.com/wPh5fGx.png this version can not be edited.
Thank you!

Hi,
That is because you are using the mobile theme plugins and you do not have enable the thumbs for mobile, you need to enable in theme panel > block settings > thumbs the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes.
Also you can make the new update from today.
If there is still a problem, let me know!
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
