Hello alderion,
Notice that caching plugin should work as expected and you should check the following useful guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ if you want to optimize your website.
Thanks for the message!
Delete plugin ?
Turn off ability for core files to be edited by WordPress via functions.php.
Check your home page template.
Check your functions.php file for something added to it by plugin.
Delete any entry added to your MySQL dbase by the plugin.
Resave permalinks, clear cache; clear transients with WP-Optimize.
( I don’t work here. )
Check error log.
Make sure you have at least 96M allocated to WP in both your php settings on hosting account *and* in your WP-Config.php file.
Resave permalinks. Clear transients with WP-OPTIMIZE
( I don’t work here. )
All the required size for each module can be found here ->
This is not the question I asked. I asked about featured images.
For featured images it states:
On our demo we use multiple sizes, most have around 1068 × 713 px. You also say:Depending on the module used, the best solution is to experiment with different sizes and see which one offers the best results.
That is not documentation, that is saying “just take a guess”. This also does not answer my question. To be clear, my question is:
What image size will not result in blank space on any featured image space or image module on both Retina and regular displays?
Please ensure that you are not using any optimize plugin to optimize your images and reduce the quality of these
I am not using an optimization plugin but I am using Save For Web options lowering quality, using smoothing, and stripping EXIF data. Why should this matter if the image shows up fully?
Why should an image resize differently it is optimized?
Optimization is not adjustment of size…
However, to bring best theme results you should use HD images
HD images will bring very poor results in all page speed metrics services
I have been getting very bad scores with this theme on google page speed (below 20/100!). I am attempting to increase the score.
Hello Escobar,
I have inspected your website on iPad device and the header seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NZc9YtQWQywg Notice that the menu on iPad has not been designed to be in hamburger mode. This menu style is only available on mobile. Please keep in mind that the theme is optimized to work as expected on all devices (desktop/Tablet/iPad/Mobile) and this thing can be verified on our demo here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/ Notice that each additional customization will affect the theme and if it is not right added, might influence the entire theme and the responsiveness. If your problem is still there after clearing your caches, I suggest you making a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core file and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello modaestrat,
Please ensure that you are not using any optimize plugin to optimize your images and reduce the quality of these. All the required size for each module can be found here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/krOM7lgns3rJ However, to bring best theme results you should use HD images. For more information about aspect ratio, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
Thanks for your understanding!
also
a) fix errors on your pages
b) test/resubmit sitemap to Google – “resubmit” your sitemaps if they work!
c) fetch post as Google to “see” exactly “what Google sees”
d) resave permalinks
e) clear and reset all caching
f) clear transients (mini-caches) with WP-Optimize or similar
If it works on 20,000 sites and not yours, then issue is with your setup –or– with Google not re-indexing your pages, which you need to tell them to do; theme cannot control what Google does, only provide the “hinting” for them to do something.
Good luck!

Hello agenciatrampo,
I have checked your website on Google Insights and I saw that your website is not optimized, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5BMtDauA26GA Your images should have to be reduced because the size of these are too big and that’s why it takes a while until the website to be prepared. Try to follow all the useful steps which are presented in our above tutorial and fix this problem if you want to bring best theme results. If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide this type of optimization services at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Also check your htaccess file to see if you have a redirect in place from a plugin or prior theme setup.
Try resaving your permalinks, and also clear transients with WP-Optimize plugin.
Hello Knockfoto,
Notice that the speed booster is an optional plugin which can be activated in the same way as you install a new plugin.
The Speed Booster works only with the tested plugins. If you use other plugins, it will be automatically disabled, and I suggest to check this first in System Status. However there is a workaround to make it also work with other plugins, you can read more here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-booster-not-compatible-with-vaultpress/
Unfortunately, the time doesn’t allow us tot provide any custom and optimization services. We provide support only for the theme related issues based on Envato support policy – https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy I suggest to get someone to help you if you want to optimize your site.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
This thins is not theme related. If you want to optimize your website, you should try using the SEO Yoast plugin because from there you can setup your website regarding on SEO optimization.
Thanks for your understanding!

Hey guys,
I would like to create custom category pages like domain.com/health instead of domain.com/category/health and to optimize them like a proper page.
I have tried creating a page and stripping category base to have the same slug but WP prefers category over page (any way around that?)
Is there any way to enable Visual composer on category description? I have tried https://sr.wordpress.org/plugins/enhanced-category-pages/ but it doesn’t do anything 🙁
Thanks and have a great weekend!
Hi!
I’m thinking about changing my website theme, wich is newsmag, to the newspaper theme. I only work with tagdiv themes because quality is great.
I would like to know if there is some kind of problem in changing. For example: will I have to resize all imagens with ewww optimizer? Will my visual composer templates be lost during transition? Will articles made with visual composer loose their original configuration?
Thank You!
You will have to search for an online solution for that like for example: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-optimize-your-wordpress-robots-txt-for-seo/
Unfortunately adding nofollow to parts of the theme represents customization and is not covered by the theme support.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
It seems you have a lot of images in the posts, that is why it is recommended to use a caching plugin. I see you have WP Super Cache installed, the website should work properly with this caching plugin. To make it faster you could follow this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and further optimize the loading speed.
The error you are having could be fixed with the solution provided in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/fetching-with-google/
Hope this helps
Thanks
I changed my max execution time to 600 which we then made default minimum on server, as 300 too short for modern WP stuff it seems.
Also make sure using PHP 5.6 or higher (e.g., 5.6.30 with opcache ‘on’). 5.4 is a dog!
Might check those.
Also, periodically
a) resave permalinks
b) clear transients with WP-Optimize or similar.
This clears ‘cobwebs’ esp. after ANY major updates.
Also, be careful with updating plugins for WooCommerce 2x now that 3x is out. I updated to 3X and everything still works, but did get several “your custom templates need updating” notices. Still works though 🙂

On mobile device, if i swipe left, the website move to the right and reveal a blank space like you see below in the image. I’ve been trying to fix this problem. Pls Help!!! Big thank

Hi,
That code you are using hides the default theme header, and entered in the mobile theme Custom Css will hide it on mobile only. It seems to work properly from what I can tell on your website
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ZAq9TRwPrR
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ELjKsnBJ10
If you want the code to apply in other situations, like on tablets as you mention, try entering the code in that respective section as well – https://www.screencast.com/t/pmse44nP
There is no option to remove the grid present on the pages while using the mobile theme, or replace it with something else. This grid displays posts from the featured category. If you want to achieve something like this you will have to use a plugin maybe, or make modification to the theme files. The mobile theme was designed and optimized to provide the best performance on mobile devices, and to be as minimal as possible

Thanks
Often caching issue, or transients issue after doing updates to latest Yoast SEO or this week’s version of WordPress.
a) try resaving permalinks
b) try clearing transients with WP-Optimize
c) clear any caching plugin, AND in your browser
This usually solves such “sudden” gremlins after doing updates.

Optimize Images Resizing
Thanks! This plugin is a life-saver.
Hi,
This depends on how well the website is optimized. Your website loading speed seems to very from very fast to very slow. It is also recommended to use the caching plugin with these settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also try as a test to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and then check to see if this improves page loading speed. Some plugins can have a negative effect on website performance.
Thanks
Salutare dragilor!
Facebook graph: https://s21.postimg.org/yumfjcspz/image.png
Hi,
This is my magazine http://www.kabir.org
I want to know if I can change color of these boxes? If, yes where.

Lastly, how can I optimize my site or reduce the load size. The current page size is 3.2 MB

CSS 41.6 % 1.35 MB
Script 24.2 % 804.30 KB
Hi,
If the website is loading slowly, here is the recommended cache plugin and the settings to use for best results
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
And some advice to help improve page loading speed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Please note that also plugins can have a negative effect in this matter. For the link you have provided above you can see the time spent on loading all the resources – https://www.screencast.com/t/ylP6a4Tcc
You need to identify the causes and remove them, or think of a way to optimize them further.
Thanks
