I would like to remove the:
1) post settings (general/smartlist/reviews)
2) format (standard/video)
3) featured video
boxes from the new/edit post page in wp-admin.
I don’t want my contributors and editors to change the default settings, and I won’t be either as the admin. So it would be great if I could simplify the editor and not allow them to make changes.
Do you have something I can add to functions.php perhaps that will remove these?
If not, do you have a different solution I might apply?

Some bad plugins really mess things up and should not. Always read the reviews and support threads for a plugin on wordpress.org to make sure it is bith safe as well as compatible with wordpress 4.4x
Thanks, but I’m not sure I would trust them. Looking at various reviews and stats about them, I’m not sold. I wouldn’t be adverse to switching hosting, but one that can accommodate my site and not cost me an arm and a leg. ~$30/month is fine, but I want it to be a highly reliable and trustworthy company.

On the main page located up top we have two top stories that feature a 326×159 image along with preview text below the image. I am trying to figure out how to have 4 top stories instead of only the current two.
I have checked the “edit page” area on the admin toolbar when on the main page and have gone through the theme area but can not find the option to edit how many top stories are shown in that area.
Any help is very much appreciated, thank you.

The “block” is not our standard element. It is most likely added by your theme author to enhance the theme functionality. You can check our standard elements/features by creating an online demo here: http://vcpreview.com/

Unfortunately the theme can’t control what information are displayed by google and there is nothing we can do about that. Google decides what to show and what not to show in the search results. The theme has meta info for reviews but that doesnāt guarantee that google will show your ratings in the search results.
Thanks for your suggestions, I’ve added them on our list and we will consider them for features updates. However we have to chose very carefully what features will be added in the theme because we have a very long list and the users always must get what is best from us.

Second I am using both themes on different websites start are not showing for reviews in google its more then 2 months and using latest versions of both themes.
Few Ideas and Suggestions
Like to see predefined “Feature name:” for quick review posting for different products. If we can create groups in theme panel select from drop down as required. for example in backend i create group for mobile reviews which have ( Design, Feature , Performance , Price , Battery, Display) and for other produce type like camera ( Design,Features,Image quality) http://prntscr.com/9y22eb

Unfortunately the theme does not have any options or widgets with this feature. As @Chriss suggested you could try a plugin with a similar functionality. I can’t make any recommendation in this regard as we didn’t tested any of those plugins and we’re not aware of theirs functionality. You could try to look on forums and check which plugins have the best reviews, then you can try a few of them and use the one which suit you best.

I have been struggling to install demo after updating to version 6.6.4. It doesn’t link through but a “preview” button works except for “install”.

Google is not yet technically using AMP for everybody, but it’s coming soon … presumably with Chrome and Android Google will be scanning certain types of sites for compatibility as it does now with the “mobile ready” vector.
Google is great resource for looking up WHAT they are up to with this stuff.
E.g.,

Look for updates in search console once it fully ramps up š
As with most modern themes, to use shortcodes, go to a temp page, save as draft.
In the post box, switch to HTML editor vs text editor tab.
Click on the shortcode button to see possible shortcodes…. drop one onto the draft page, then preview to see what it looks like …
at least, that’s how I do it š

In the live preview the social sharing buttons pull an image and a description from each shared page. Where do you set that information?
Is there a way to set meta property=”og:image” and meta property=”og:description” with this template?

I can’t navigate to anything but the home page of my site by clicking on the pagination tabs at the bottom (2,3…18 etc) it will just reload the home page. Strangely if it is in preview mode, it works fine, but as soon as it is live – it doesn’t work again.

First of all, this is a great theme. Congratulations!
I want to make some changes on the Big Grid (style 7), the one that has 3 columns on top.
I was thinking in making each column specific for my categories. For example, the first column show the last feature post of my category “News”, the second column show the last feature post from “reviews” and so on.
The posts on the bottom could be all mixed up, but ordered by date.
how can I do this?
If you could point me the right direction I will try to do it myself.

If you need additional assistance you would have to turn to a freelancer or an SEO optimizations provider or search for solutions online because we do not do optimization of this type.

Working on a new page and for some reason the main menu breaks up in two parts. There is a “line break” in the middle of it – even though there is plenty of space to have the entire menu on one line.

If you want to set the font size for review section, you have to use a bit of CSS. Please try the code below and add it in your Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->

I’m not aware about myfonts implementation to the theme and like I said above the code that you use add this preview bar(it is an advertisement) and if you implement this using a script code of course that it will loaded by the theme.
