Hi,

It could be a plugin that is causing the issue, please try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins and Woocommerce. Clear all caching installed, and check if the issue is still happening.
Also check the theme system status parameters
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to increase these resources if needed. Insufficient resources could cause such issues as well. Let us know the results.

Thanks

Hi,

I am using the version of Visual composer included in the latest theme package, there is no problem with the button element
https://www.screencast.com/t/x79QyImQVsxp
I see that the button element on your screenshot does not look similar to the one in this version of Visual composer. The plugin bundled with the theme works properly, but maybe you are using a different version, or you have updated the plugin.
Note that we will provide updates for Visual composer in theme updates, after they have been tested
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Please also check the theme system status parameters, in some cases there are saving issue when there are insufficient resources
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to increase the parameter values if needed.

Thanks

Hi,

@chris-vision
I believe you are referring to the tagDiv composer. If the theme system status is set according to the guide provided above, try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins and check if this has any effect. Let us know the results.

Thanks

Hello,

Please use this guide to properly activate your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/
And after the activation please check under the system status screen to see if the license is active.

Thank you!

Hello Micrograde,

First of all, I will thank you for your interesting in our items. So, the most important this is to make sure if you are using the latest version of the theme, installed via FTP way according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/ Also, check the status of the plugins to be updated to the latest version of them. Also, check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Please notice that our TD Composer has been fully tested with the default theme state and should work as expected, without any problems.
If the problem is still there, you should make a new clean install to another sub-domain for testing, use only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

Hello. First thank you for your answer.

I have fully managed vps. I have no problem with system status. I set all thing high. I think something is blocking icons or it is css problem.

Hi,

I have tested the composer icon element, there is no problem for me
https://www.screencast.com/t/G4VOZdqnWN
Please check the theme system status parameters
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to increase them if necessary, to the recommended values. Additionally try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins, check if this has any effect. Let us know the results.

Thanks

Hi,

A first step in this case would be to check the theme system status
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to increase the parameters mentioned in the guide if necessary. In most cases insufficient resources are causing issues with the composer functionality.
After doing this check if the issue is solved. Additionally you can try deactivating all plugins if possible, except theme plugins. Then check again.
Please let us know if there is still a problem after trying these suggestions.

Thanks

Hi,

The ajax pagination or ajax filter seem to be working at the moment, there are no errors present on the page
https://www.screencast.com/t/rbzEsWp3M2
https://www.screencast.com/t/CDEkfetaR
Usually plugins cause these issues, or theme modifications. Check the theme system status as well, ask your hosting provider to increase the parameters mentioned in this guide if necessary
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Thanks

i’ve created this new post
but i’ve got the same problem in an older post :
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tag-div-composer-infinite-load-since-update-from-8-5-1-to-8-6-today/#new-post

SINCE
i’ve tried to switch to main-theme and :

.disable/delete TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.6 file
.downgrade WP 4.9.1 to 4.9
.install TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.5.1 file
.clear cache (wp super cache)

.disable/delete TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.5.1 file
.downgrade WP 4.9 to 4.8.4
.install TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.5 file
.clear cache (wp super cache)

= all this manipulations = no change

BUT, from there (WP 4.8.4 + TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.5 file)
i’ve just upgraded WP 4.8.4 to 4.9.1
(without disable/delete & reinstall TD-Composer)
and at this moment, TD-Composer works again !!!

i said to myself “great, i succeed’ and decide to touch anything anymore
i was able to make some changes with TD-Composer
and close it after, normally

after hours using my WP for my website
(i didn’t install or remove any plugins or whatelse during this time)
i just decide by curiosity to launch TD-Composer (clearing cache before)
and there TD-Composer collapse again, infinite load, etc..

from there, i just tried to :
disable/delete/re install TD-Composer from Newspaper 8.5 file
(clear cache)
and TD-Composer works again, until now

I don’t understand what happens, all i constat it’s all my WP is very very slow after using hours (because of my subscription on my provider, that’s ok) but TD-Composer too since upgrade to 8.6, i can’t explain it. All my ‘Newspaper system status’ is green with 128mb/request of WP Memory Limit.

Hi,

@AcarelTV
There are cases when certain server or configuration are simply incompatible with the theme or theme plugins, these are hard to investigate. The basic theme requirements would be these
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If the recommendation was to try on a new install of WordPress, maybe the hosting provider has such a service to offer. Or you could do it, some guides here

Hi,

The theme can be activated for testing purposes. There will be no problem as long as their will be a single end product. Activate the theme and build the website and test. Their is a activation key reset in the theme system status that you can use

Hi,

That is too slow, it should not take such a long period of time to make a correction in the post. Try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins if possible, check if this has any effect.
Also check the theme system status, ask your hosting provider to increase the resources WordPress and the server uses (that is a minimum recommendation for the WP memory limit)
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Also test in a different browser, or clear the cache in the browser you currently use.

Hi,

The composer and multi-purpose plugins are created specifically for the theme, so there would be no issues to use them properly. Other factors are usually the cause for such issues. Check if all the parameters mentioned in the guide are set to the mentioned values
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Additionally deactivate all plugins if possible, except theme plugins. Try the composer again.
We can take a look if you already tried this, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. Also paste a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

What error are you getting when the install fails?
It could be a memory allocation issue: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If all else fails, FTP is the the best choice: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Thank you!

Hi,

@Animesh_007
The composer is tested with the new update and works accordingly. The new update simply improves the theme social part, and provides various fixes. There is no general issue with the composer.
If you tried the suggestions mentioned above related to the theme system status, please give it a try while having all plugins deactivated (except theme plugins)
In case the problem is still happening send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. We will take a look. Paste a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

hello,

I already mentioned the images are needed for the multi-purpose plugin and cannot be removed unless you do not use the multi-purpose plugin. Disable the plugin and you can delete the images. Enable it, and the images will be back.

1. We have not tested ahmed kaludi’s ampforwp plugin Sorry
The only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:

WP Super Cache- caching plugin
Contact form 7- used to make contact forms
bbPress- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars
WPML – multilingual plugin

Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.

2. That template does not come from our theme. This is your 404 error, not the one in your screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/h1bSr37XT1I
Your authoer pages work as expected: https://www.screencast.com/t/Ml9XlPLZdTgL

3. Please clear your browser cache. test from a different browser if you do not believe me.

4. We have absolutely no reports of any such occurrences. If likes disappear, they stay gone. They do not appear again. Please test this as well as the images issue on a sub-domain created for testing purposes with a fresh install of wp and the theme without optimization and plugins.

5. where are the post views not showing up?

6. the wp admin gets slow because you use lots of plugin and have poor memory allocation. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Please also use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and cluodflare and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
The use this guide to increase the site loading speed: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

Hi,

In most cases this is caused by insufficient resources. Please check the theme system status and ask your hosting provider to increase the values to the WordPress and server parameters mentioned in this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Then check if the composer works as it should. Let us know if there still is a problem.

Hello Marcus_S,

Check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/ The PHP memory has exhausted and that’s why you cannot save anything.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

WordPress and the theme as well should always be kept up to date if possible. There are many benefits from doing this, everything is in constant improvement
http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/why-you-should-always-use-the-latest-version-of-wordpress/
Please check the theme system status, maybe the allocated resources are insuffeicent
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to increase these values if needed, for a better performance. Try installing a caching plugin if you do not have one yet
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Try cleaning the database, make a back-up before as always
http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-clean-up-your-wordpress-database-for-improved-performance/
If you should consider to update the theme here is a guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Also a child theme tutorial for theme customization
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Note that code entered in Theme panel custom code sections will not be lost if the theme is updated. It is saved in the database. This fact and a child theme are considered safe ways of theme customization.

Hello,

Are you sure speedbooster is active though? Please check: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
You can see in the system status screen if the plugin is active or has been disabled.
Also speedbooster will not be able to move ALL of the css and js to the footer as it will not work with untested plugins.

Thank you!

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response, there is no intention whatsoever to ignore any topic. But if you keep replying in your own post this will only refresh the topic, we answer from oldest to newest.
The composer issue could be related to insufficient resources, please check the theme system status and ask your hosting provider to make modifications to these server and WordPress parameters
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
After this try the composer again and let us know the results. The backup should completely restore the website to a previous state, but it would depend on the configuration of the backup made (manual, plugin, server provided). Some useful information here

Hello Vidar,

Make sure that all of the theme’s plugins are updated via FTP way, check your system status to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ clear all the caches and check the results. Most likely, the PHP memory has exhausted and that’s why you cannot save anything.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

Please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access if you want so we can take a look.
Please make a full backup as we may need to deactivate all your plugins except tagdiv composer. Also please make sure that System Status parameters are set properly – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

I also replied at envato dashboard. If you are unsatisfied you can ask for refund.

Thanks!
