Hello,

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Also please make sure your system status is set properly like this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Thank you!

Hello Emil,

I have the same problem. My system status is all green (everything ok)

If block access to admin-ajax-php file is the case, you mean I should call my hosting firm to fix it?

Hi,

You have not mentioned if you are using the mobile theme plugin, in which case there are predefined templates for the homepage – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you are not using the mobile theme then the same content you have on desktop will be displayed on mobile, the theme is fully responsive. Maybe the plugin you are using is not compatible with the theme, not all plugins are, or is not properly configured. A caching plugin could also prevent the changes from being applied. Please check these system parameters too – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Thanks

Hi,

Please check and increase the parameters mentioned in this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ as this could be causing the problem. Also try this while having only Visual composer active, to rule out maybe a plugin interference or conflict.

Thanks

Hello ChRoM,

Please checked again your system status to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, you can contact your hosting provider, tell this problem and see what they say about this.
Also, if you are using some untested plugins, you can try to remove all of them because these can interact with the theme files and cause a lot of issues.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

The main reason for settings in the theme panel not working is the system status parameters not being set properly. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Hi,

That is just a warning, you could check the status of WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php file and change it’s value to false if needed – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Also the server should meet these requirements – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Hello Sergbe,

Please ensure that your system status is configured according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Most likely, your PHP memory is exhausted and that’s why you cannot loaded the images. Also, please check your server permission to be enabled.

Hi,

You can deactivate the theme in the system status like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/AskZyy3K and activate the theme on your new site. Please note that the reset option is only available on the more recent versions of the theme, maybe you need to update the theme first – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Hello!

I’ve seen that this issue has happened to many people, but I believe this is a different situation, since it only happens on the Newspaper theme. I’ve tried a default theme from WordPress and the images upload just fine.

I’ve just installed WordPress and the theme, so everything’s fresh and up to date. I care to mention that:

  • The images are optimized – no large files or anything like that;
  • The names of the images are written properly, without any strange characters in them;
  • I’m not using WP Smush or EWWW Image Optimizer, which are known to cause this issue. I just have iThemes Security, BackWPup and Visual Composer at the moment, which I disabled and still got the issue;
  • I’ve set the memory limit to 64MB, and even up to 96MB, but the issue still occurs;
  • Everything in the theme’s System Status is green and properly set;
  • I’ve switch to the parent theme from the child theme, but still no difference;
  • Suhosin is not installed on the host.

Ran out of options here :D. Let me know if you need more info or the WordPress admin credentials to check the situation yourselves.

Thank you!

Best wishes,
Radu

Hello,

You can simply de-register your theme from the current domain from the system status: https://www.screencast.com/t/uChS68YT52
And then you can activate it on the new domain using the same key.

Thank you!

Hello kingvish,

Please try to increase your WP Memory limit to 64M according to our guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ From your screens it seems to be set up to 40M. This can be a reason for your issue. Try my advice, clear all your caches and check the results.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
