I did a bit of digging and found out that it’s being loaded by Tagdiv Composer plugin.

JS file for that element is 245 kb, crazy. Why is it required for front end loading at all?

File is located here plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js

Do i understand correctly that only way to disable calls to youtube and vimeo is cut them out from this JS file?

Shortcode in Header Ad not working but everywhere else - topic

Hi,

I’m having a problem adding a shortcode to the header ad position. I’m using the plugin “WP Slick Slider and Image Carousel”, which is for creating a simple slider.

The shortcode is working everywhere, when implemented inside a text module over the TD composer and also as a widget. Only inside the codebox for the header ad its not displaying the slider at all.

You can see the slider in action in the sidebar of the frontpage and single posts, only at the top its not working. Can you help me to figure out why is that and how i can fix that?

Hi,

If you are using single post templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, you can make the changes with tagDiv Composer.
If you are using standard post styles then you’ll need to edit the one you are using -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single/loop-single-1.php

You can use the excerpt, in this way the link will not be display -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/ if you want to remove it from auto excerpt -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_util.php

Newspaper Gossip theme slow to load. Issues with new Newspaper updates - topic

Hello,

I am having issues with the Gossip theme. It has trouble loading.. It pauses for about 5 seconds as if it’s looking for the information – then once found actually loads the page content quickly. Also, when trying to save any changes via the TD Composer, I just get a spinning wheel. It won’t save any changes.

Plus, when updating the template, all of the plugins fail. The manual plugins do not work either.

Very disappointed so far. There seems to be a ton of bugs with this theme.

Parallax - topic

Hi, I’m trying to create a parallax effect for my home page.
I’m using wp-bakery visual composer.
in “Row settings” I have set:
parallax=simple
Image= image url
But the image is not shown, if i Put the same image url in “Row > option design” the image is showed but it has no parallax effect.
Why isn’t the image shown?
How can I create a parallax effect?

I tryed also to use a TD composer to create parallax effect but in:
Row > (CSS tab) Background image, if I add a Image from Library, theme show this error “Invalid data Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”

I tryed to deactivate “tagDiv Cloud Library” but not solve

Can you give me an example of parallax, using wp-bakery or tag div composer?

Hi Calin,

I have just transferred our website to the live version at almostrealthings.com. These are my current three issues:

On article posts in the footer, the copyright text and footer menu are not aligned -> https://i.imgur.com/yry5oEG.png It looks fine on pages but is only misaligned on article posts. Maybe it has something to do with the custom code you suggested in your first reply to me?
For the Jetpack issue, it is resizing the images to 696px as part of its “Site Accelerator > Speed up image load times” -> https://i.imgur.com/JPlEWnR.png It thinks the theme’s page column width is constrained to 696px and will not allow me to have full-page images, giving me this -> https://i.imgur.com/09gX8hQ.png instead of this -> https://i.imgur.com/q50fFy3.png
The last issue is that the WP Editor will no longer load in TDComposer after transferring my website from my staging environment to my live site at almostrealthings.com -> https://i.imgur.com/YUZ5vrB.png I did not make any changes, I simply transferred the entire site to the live domain. Everything else works except the WP Editor.

Hello Guys i am facing little problem with WordPress am using newspaper theme and using td composer as a builder firstly website is going fine but now i don’t know when i edit my any page it gives me error.

Thank you for answer. I deactivated all plugin clean all cache and don’t have child theme. But i still can’t use TD composer and edit text modules and ad box.
And i build my page only in TD composer.

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

If the problem persist, please set this code in functions.php -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/functions.php

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no setting for the standard post style to change the color of the tag, this can be done only with custom css ->
.td-tags a { color: #fff; }
The code need to be set in theme panel custom code > custom css.
As an alternative, you can use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, this can be edited with tagDiv Composer and you can add/remove elements and style them.

Front page doesn't work on mobile - topic

For some reason the front page does not work on mobile. On iPhone or Android. I do not know why. It looks perfectly fine on the TD Composer on mobile dimension. It even looks fine when mobile dimensions inspect element. But not on actual mobile. Here is the website: voiceofsweden.com

I uninstalled the theme, deactivated all plugins but this error appeared again:

Thanks, still having issues with the footer as seen here with the copyright info and footer menu not being on the same line. This only occurs on article pages for some reason.

Also, from that Jetpack article it says this “The image CDN looks to the img element’s width and height attributes and the width of the containing element. It will then serve an image resized to the smallest dimensions. If it didn’t resize that image to something smaller, then it’s likely that the 2250 size was the smallest based on those parameters.”

So that means the theme is constraining this element. I don’t have any css constraints for the row or column or image so I am not sure why it thinks the maximum width for this element is 696px. The native image is 1100px x 557px and everything looks fine in the TDComposer but the live version continues to shrink the image. Have you run into this problem before with Jetpack on Newspaper?

Hello. Recently we can’t do any change on page in td composer. I need change banner and click on them but i see only base information and don’t see my banner code https://prnt.sc/smguws.
Also i’ll try to add new module (custom text module or ad box) but circle rotate infinity time https://prnt.sc/smgvnx.
I’ll try reinstall theme and plugins, but not worked.
Also i see message “The current content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!”
Please help, i need urgently change banner 🙁

Hi! I have created a page using TD composer which I can view but can not edit anymore. It keeps loading for ever.

Console errors:

I tried that but unfortunately in the onLoad() action of the iFrame is removed from the Column Text by TD Composer and so the JS doesn’t run

Thanks for the reply.

Was there a reason you disabled the Ajax Tab on the megamenu options in the composer? This would seem to be the simplest solution, just put the tab back to enable this option if you’ve building a new header using the TD composer.

Hello Mauricio, I figured out after lots of trying things that it’s a combination of settings between the Theme Panel inside WP and the CSS settings inside TD Composer… It’s a bit confusing and I think the Tag Div team should make these things clearer and let us know which is more important… look at the background settings in Theme Panel… hope this helps

TD Composer does support SSL. Please make sure that your SSL implementation is correct, also please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
