After the last update The background click ad stopped working. It seems like there is no link at all. Is there a way to fix it?
You get the latest ‘bundled’ version of VC when the theme is next updated. You can buy your own license at any time if you have a burning need for it, but might not be secure, bug free, or compatible with theme until fully “qualified” as such. See the theme docs on how to update VC.
I think that I am having a similar issue on my site: http://www.learnjazzstandards.com. If you scroll down the page to the section that has latest posts and latest podcasts, they are showing the same exact posts, and not filtering based on the categories I selected in Visual Composer. A weird issue I notice, is that it filters correctly if I am logged into the site, but not if you are viewing the site not logged in.
It looks like this happened just recently on the newest update.
I have tried to update my VC to the current version as per the latest theme update but it still shows that it requires an update, the required update is 5.1.1 but the theme update seem to have 5.1. When can i get the latest update??
How Do We Access The Visual Composer Template Library? We can access the Default Templates but when we try to access the Template Library, we get the following message: âIn order to receive all benefits of Visual Composer, you need to activate your copy of the plugin. By activating Visual Composer license you will unlock premium options â direct plugin updates, access to template library and official support.â
An UPDATE : I was able to get #1 accomplished.

I think its not by plugin or something else…
We didnt changed any plugin or anything.. This happened probably when we updated to 7.8 newspaper theme
Visual Composer gets updated when tested as safe, compatible with theme, and when theme is next updated.
If chomping at the bit and need it “now” you can always buy your own license, but the bundle version is only updated when the theme is updated.
(I don’t work here.)
Would it be possible to do the official update upload?

Hi! Maybe I don’t understand very good. If I rewrite my style.css with my custom styles the system would read it quickly and don’t show the default template because would not find the default styles and only my new styles. If this is so, could I save a backup of the style.css file every time I update the template and thus keep the new styles inside style.css?
Now I have to update the template and this should not a problem if I save the original style.css file (just in case)
I have also updated the plugin and successfully got the access token, however, on the site it still shows “0” fans despite having 4K+ on the page. Any suggestions as to what is happening here?

On our website we have some dynamic data that updates every 15 minutes.
With super cache configured like the tutorial mentioned, the end user will get the dynamic data updated only once every 24 hours.
Is there a way to solve this issue without completely giving up on caching? Like have only the rest of the page cached?
None of the images on my website work either as of recent, I don’t know if your theme update gets rid of this problem or not?
What do you mean by a wrong visual composer update? Doesn’t a clean install mean that all my current theme options right now will be erased? Do you guys have a guide on how to do a clean install?
Hi,
When you update the theme the usual way, you will lose any modifications made directly to the theme files. You can use a child theme for modifications, and when an update is available check what was changed and which files are affected, so you can make the proper adjustments in the child theme code if needed. The files are served through the child theme if it is active, and the update will not replace nothing regarding the child theme. Also you can make backups to your website so you will have a solution if something does not have the desired result, or something goes wrong, or even export the theme settings – https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/

Also please make sure you have updated the theme properly and all the files were uploaded properly and check it without any plugins active except Visual Composer.

That is an interesting feature, but I could not say if or when this kind of option will be available in the theme. Please take into account that each update is meant to improve the theme and also add additional possibilities, and the list of suggestions and recommendations is forever increasing. All of these will be analyzed and some will be selected for implementation and others will get postponed for a later time.

Hello, I feel my English, I will try to be more concrete. I do not modify a file in the child theme. There is a main theme and some customizations that are copied to the child, what I want to know is if the theme has all my customizations of styles in the ftp within the theme, because I understand that being so having a child theme, in a main theme update will never miss the look and style. Or if, on the other hand, it saves some type of customization within the main database and can be affected in some update.

First of all, I hope that you have made a full backup to your database, right? I guess that problem happened due to a wrong Visual Composer update, sorry! Please keep in mind that our theme is fully tested with this plugin and works perfectly. I suggest you making a new clean install with the latest version of the theme and also, the latest version of required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard.
After this, if you will have any others problems with our theme, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can easily identify you.

At the moment these are the only capabilities and features of the mobile theme, you can either use it for all the website or not use it at all. Additional options will be implemented in a future update for the mobile theme, the intention is to offer many features, while also keeping it as light as possible. Please note that there are many suggestions and user recommendations on the list, and all of them will be analyzed and some of them implemented. I can not give an exact date as to when this or that will be available though, we will just have to wait and see.

This is very strange as the update is not present on any of their change logs. We will look into it but we will not be able to provide the new update until the next theme update though as we have to test each version of the plugin with the theme and make the proper adjustments.
