I need to edit the comment section of the mobile theme (I want to replace the current comment system with Facebook Comments). In previous answers to other clients you’ve suggested to edit the core files of the plugin directly but the problem is since the mobile theme is a plugin, all my customization will be lost once the mobile theme plugin will be updated. Is there any solution to avoid that?

I’m very confused right now. Just updated WordPress and Newsmag Theme to the newest version und -bam- every line break (<br>) is gone! All texts are a mess now… What can happened and how can I fix it?

Thanks for your response, BUT, that site shows no problems with my site. What is happening is that the virus is posting articles on behalf of one of my “author” accounts. For each article it creates a “uncategorized” category and posts it. I found a “public_html_hacked” directory on my server with a single content “pavliken_wpsite.sql” with permissions 0644.
I am not running any old themes, only yours, which I update as oon as you provide updates, nor have I any random plugins.
Please advise.

I just installed your new updated theme and its working now. I guess there is some problem with the old version.But last time also it was working but after one day everything stopped updating. I have to wait for tomorrow to know whether it exactly working.But I am wasting to much time in fixing these things.

PHP 7 support was already added in version 7.6 but only for PHP 7.0, not in 7.1.
Please update your theme to the latest version and you will be able to use php 7.0

You should make again this changes at your theme code because the td_module_single_base.php has been overwritten with the latest update and you have lost this modification, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/ZLpN8kmz Please keep in mind that at each update if you do not use the child theme and if the files which are changed cannot be written in child theme, you will lost all of your modifications and then you should make them again.

Well if the update notification worked beforehand, then you will have to revert your modifications. Try to download the theme package again and replase td-cake.php (i assume this is the file in question)

What code is visible? Did you update theme components as well? In my theme the social counter was showing as code, all I had to do was enable the widget from the theme components and it played like a charm

The visual composer activation message appears on all sites that use visual composer, not matter the theme or domain. In our case, you must ignore this message as the Visual Composer does not require activation when it’s provided in the theme package. The plugin authors cannot verify this though so they could not remove the message to this particular case. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

This is a temporary fix until revolution slider is updated and bundled with our theme.

The plugins will not update automatically with the theme. Thios is specified in the docs: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
1) your first error comes from cachepress That plugin is not tested so please remove it as it could no longer be compatible in the current version of the theme. The social counter also needs updating by deleting the plugins and installing it from the main theme package you downloaded from envato.
2) Please disable and delete all plugins and only install visual composer and social counter for a start. Install them from the main theme package so you are sure they are the latest and recommended versions to be used. Then start activationg other plugins one by one and see which one causes the errors.

Sorry but no attached images are present in your request so I;ll try to answer without them but I could be wrong.
1) Your images are there only they are broken and have an opacity of 0 This is caused by a js error that prevents the lazyload animation from working properly. The number 1 reason for this is plugin conflicts.
please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
2) Sorry but without an example I cannot know which buttons you are referring to.

We think since Word Press updated our problems started. Now we have code showing up on our front page and Blue Host people had us take out Visual Composer thinking that was causing one of our problems. Now we see you require Visual Composer, but we cannot get the plugin plugged in.
